Torrentstar purred to see his apprentice again. He licked his ear in greeting and then turned to see Smallstar, Windclan's leader, and a good friend of his, enter the medicine cat's den. "Yes hello Smallstar. I can't thank you enough for taking in Sandpaw. I would've come sooner but the storm ...." he shook his head and nodded towards the sky. He looked back to his apprentice as he spoke to Smallstar. "If you aren't too busy i'd like a quick word with you before we leave. And of course," he turned to face Lightface then. "If it's ok with your medicine cat for the little furball to stay here just a few more minutes."
((oh by the way guys... I made another profile for Windclan... It's an elder... because i noticed we didn't have any ... so he might not be very involved, but i figured we could use a another cat.))
Softheart sighed softly from the elder's den ... being the only elder was a boring role. He wished there were at least some young kits to bat around and tell stories to, but there weren't and he was bored as usual... He wandered out into the camp and looked around. Boring there as well. He began walking towards the fresh kill pile, perhaps food would occupy him for a while. He had to walk slow for his bones ached after sitting or lying for too long. When he finally reached it he noticed that there really wasn't much there and he would feel guilty if he took something when he was barely hungry. He sat with his tail curled around his paws and rested. Maybe some cat would walk by and ask him for a story. He purred almost inaudibly and closed his eyes. He was tired apparently. He layed down in the snow, not having the energy to return to the warm elder's den and fell asleep.

Lightface laughed. "A few more minutes wouldn't hurt. I'm sure he's sick of eating rabbits, though."
Appletail looked around. "Well, I'm going to continue my hunting. See you later." He ran out of camp, starting to hunt, and he somehow ended up by the RiverClan border once more. He wanted to wait a long while, to wait for Crystaleye to come on patrol. Giving a sigh, he started to hunt.

 One song, gloryOoc://I feel SOO BAD! D; I kinda forgot that I was covering for Kei... -cries- I'm sorry everyone...
Smallstar nodded. "Of course. That storm would make travelling rather difficult." he purred. "Come into my den, and we can talk alone. Lightface will watch over him. He's not too much of a burden." he laughed and led the way into his den.

Sandpaw sighed, but sat back down in Lightface's den. His tail twiched impatiently while he waited for his leader to finish speaking with Smallstar. one song, before I go...

Lightface glanced at Sandpaw. "You really are ready to go home. You've healed up quite well. I assure you the meeting will be quick. Just discussing how you are, what happened, and such."
Appletail gave an irritated sigh. He hadn't seen any patrolling RiverClan cats. Didn't RiverClan patrol their borders at all? He continued to hunt, planning to stay for a while.

((sorry it takes me so long to post guys i have no time anymore...))
Torrentstar followed Smallstar out of the medicine cat's den. He didn't want to be too long he wouldn't draw this out longer than needed, he was sure his apprentice was anxious to get home... as soon as they entered the den he waited respectully for Smallstar to sit before he started to speak. He was grateful for the break from the wind.

Smallstar sat facing his dear friend. "Now Torrentstar, what is it you wish to speak to me about?" he mewed, his tail swishing back and forth.

Lightface yawned. "I'm sorry, Sandpaw, but I really haven't gotten much sleep for a few days. I'm about to fall asleep on my paws, I've just realized." She went over to her moss and curled up, sleeping almost instantly.
Minxpelt walked into Lightface's dream, a bit nervous but also happy. She was seeing WindClan again. She mewed quickly, "Hi, Lightface!"
Lightface looked so happy for a moment, then unbearable sad. "I'm so sorry, Minxpelt! I should've never let you move!"
Minxpelt shook her head. "No, that's okay...really. I think. Anyway, please say hi to everyone in WindClan alright? Tell them I miss them all? Wish I was still alive? Thanks." She seemed ready to walk away, but then remembered-the prophecy! She mewed slowly,"A prophecy has come upon us. When ice grips the forest and the moon refuses to rise, cat and beast will intertwine."
Lightface bit her lip. "I won't ask you to explain it. I know well enough that you will not. I will be sure to tell everyone in WindClan. Goodbye."
Minxpelt gave a sad sigh as she padded up to StarClan, as Lightface woke.

Torrentstar sat and faced his fellow leader and friend. "I just wanted to thank you for taking in Sandpaw.. I know the little furball can be a pawfull but you don't know how much gratitude I have for your clan saving him and taking him in. If there's ever anything you need...."

I said you just don't know... Smallstar nodded, without needing his friend to continue. "I will keep your offer in mind. And I will always be happy to take in injured young ones." he mewed with a smile. "Thank you. But I think you should be getting back home now." ...how hard it is to not be by your side, every night.

"Yes it seems I've been away half a moon." (har har sweatdrop ) Torrentstar replied and then he rose to his feet and padded out into the cold air. He walked over to where he had left Sandpaw and Lightface. "Come on, you're as lazy as a kittypet these days." He said playfully. "Let's go home." He purred. He thanked Lightface again for caring for Sandpaw and licked Smallstar's shoulder before heading out of the camp.

Sandpaw sat up. "Let's go! Thanks for taking care of me!" he called over his shoulder as he followed his leader and mentor back home.

Smallstar turned his attention to Lightface. "Come," he ordered, leading the way into his den. He sat and neatly wrapped his tail around his paws. "Now, what seems to be the trouble?" he asked.

Lightface sat down, though her tail flicked anxiously. "S-StarClan v-visited. You know how they usually send my former mentor, Diamondpelt, or one of the other messengers? It was Minxpelt. First, she asked if we could say hi to all in WindClan, miss them all, wishes she was still alive. At first, it seemed like that was all she wanted to say. But then, she remembered a...a propechy." She sat back and wrapped her tail around her paws as Smallstar had done. "When ice grips the forest and the moon r-refuses to rise, cat and beast will intertwine. What do you think this means, Sandstar? When ice grips the forest? Do you there'll be more snow?"

Smallstar closed his eyes, letting the words of Lightface echo in his head. He couldn't help but smiling that young Minxpelt had finally made herself comfortable amoungst the stars. When ice grips the forest... and the moon refuses to rise... cat and beast will intertwine... he thought for a moment longer then looked up. "Give me time to think. I suggest you do the same." he suggested, dimissing her with a flick of his tail.

Torrentstar now walked with the wind at his back. It ruffled his fur and made his whiskers twitch uneasily. He didn't know how cats could hunt so high up on the moor. It was impossible to hear any prey and the wind carried away all scents before it could reach your nose. He squinted his eyes and checked behind him to make sure Sandpaw was still with him. The wind was now stronger than before. "Are you alright?!" he yowled against the wind.
