Van leaned up against the wall, pulled out a dagger from his hair and started to play with it. Ciara was right though, he would have probably hurt someone rather quickly. He would just have to wait outside and listen for trouble while watching people walk by one by one.
Van watched his dagger admiring it's simplicity and effectiveness. It's quality was unsurpassed. Van looked across the street and saw a good will, pawn shop, and thrift store. If things went well Van would grab some better clothes for himself.

"Oo... look who just walked in." One man said to another that was seated with him at a table.
The other man chuckled, taking a gulp of his drink before replying. "Ha, wonder who'll ******** her tonight."
Ciara, for once disgusted by those words, turned to the man with a fierce glare in her eyes. "You shut the hell up." She retorted, surprised at her own actions. Usually she was far more relaxed, drinking like the rest of them. She had always welcomed the comments that they gave her; most of them time she was even the one throwing herself onto them. However, she didn't need to do that anymore, she had Van.
"Why if it isn't out beloved Ci?" A girl announced from behind the bar counter.
Ciara looked at who she immediately recognized as the bartender who she had become friends with a long time ago. "Tatiana?"
"Mhmm... so what are you doing here tonight? Thought you would be at your fancy ball as always." Tatiana pointed out, quickly fixing up a drink for Ciara.
Ciara shook her head, pushing the drink away as Tatiana placed it in front of her. That was odd, she never turned down alcohol. "I'm just here to go to my room for a little while."
"Then what are you waiting for? Just get up there already before you have these damn bastards chasing you up there." The annoyed bartender replied before she rushed over to the newcomers who had seated themselves at the counter.

'Tear my head off?' Reikon repeated for a moment to blink before looking around to find his sibling to look rather confused. 'Can she really do that?' she thought again to blink some more before going behind Faris to follow to hide herself from getting into trouble. "You're sister sounds like someone who doesn't give up easily?" she asks in quiet squeak voice, but enough for Faris to hear her. "I mean, is she someone who likes to fight and show who's stronger in your family?

Van listened to the voices making note of each one and memorizing it for later when he would give them what they deserved as they left. A police officer walked by and Van quickly hid the dagger till he passed. A young man walked by and Van stopped him.
"Hey do me a favor," Van pulled a list that he had written while waiting and handed it to the young man, "Go into those stores and find the things on this list."
"Why would I do that?" The young man looked confused.
"Because I'll pay you what you spend on the goods two fold." Van put it simply so that the person could understand.
"Oh well that sounds good to me." The guy took the list and entered one of the stores.
Van needed a new wardrobe but didn't want to leave his place incase he was needed.

Faris nodded, "You actually explained her very well," Faris commented. "Really, don't worry. She might seem angry, but we have not been around humans for all that long, remember? I'm sure she'll like you Reikon," Faris smiled brightly. "Ayana-chan!" he called. "Would you please stop ignoring me, it's really rude you know."
Ayana snapped her book closed, filling the library with a sudden boom. She looked up, her black eyes narrowed and angry. Ayana uncurled from her seat, stretching her long limbs and bending backwards to get rid of all the tightness. "Faris!" Ayana complained. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out doing whatever you do with humans?" Ayana sounded irritated, and she glared at Reikon as if to further her statement.
Faris smiled, "I have something to talk to you about," Faris replied. "Someone else has gotten through."
"Through what?" asked Ayana, her eyes suddenly widened. She looked more like a frightened teenage girl than she had in years, as if her round face had never held the expression. "You don't mean, someone has come from our world to this one?"
"Exactly," Faris replied. "It's . . ."
"Kira?" Ayana finished. "Oh Faris, is that why I was?"
"You were frightened for me?" Faris smiled at his younger sister. "Don't worry Ayana, I'm fine. I wouldn't allow skum like Kira to completely finish me off, not yet. I have a promise to fulfil before I die."

A small blush began to appear on Reikon cheeks when Faris smiled brightly, it made her heart skip to see that from him. "Glad that I did, but I hope your right on liking me" Reikon said quietly. "I don't want to cause a fight between you two for being around" Slowly looking down at the library floor for a moment before jumping in fright to hear the book closed then soon quickly hid behind Faris after she glared. 'Please don't hurt me!' Reikon thought in fear to continue to hide behind Faris before slowly taking a tiny peek to see her reaction. 'Well, at least I know she cares about her siblings but what about the others?' she thought in wonder before taking a step out behind Faris to get a better look of Ayana.

[this is going to be looooooooooooooong. sorry >.>]
Ciara continued to stand there for a moment, surprised at by the things she was beginning to learn. Was this life truly not all that different from reality? Did the death of her mother really mean so little? Then again, in the parallel universe she was in her mother was not her mom, therefore meaning that there may have been more to the story that she didn't know at that point. Either way she wanted to continue find out answers, which was what was exactly on her mind as she began to walk up the stairway in the back of the bar.
The bar had always been like a second home to her. She spent the majority of her nights there, so the room she had kept for herself there was much like her own room. It wasn't as extravagant, but it did have everything she needed when it came to necessities. She had a storage of weapons, clothes, and various other things all of which nobody but herself ever touched.
Test number one. Ciara thought to herself, reaching for the doorknob of her room after she had walked through the hallway. Grasping the doorknob in her fingertips she then began to turn it, finding it odd when she realized it was locked. Back in reality she had never had to use a key, the door had always been enchanted to let her in whenever she wished. Dumbfounded, Ciara tried to open the door once more finding it even stranger when it opened. That's odd... She thought to herself as she walked inside. However, her idea of it being 'odd' immediately changed when she noticed who was in the room.
"Hello, dear." Kyoko said to her with a warm yet eerie smile, standing on the other side of the room.
"Mom?" The confused Ciara questioned, not quite sure who was who at that point. Things had just gotten so complicated. Figuring what was reality and what was a lie had become much harder.
Kyoko laughed a bit, walking towards Ciara. "Oh darling, you still believe that?"
What was she talking about? "What do you mean...?"
Kyoko began to laugh once more, this time louder. "You actually believed that Deveko and I were your parents? Oh, you are far more naive than I thought. Oh well, at least that can be changed."
Deveko and Terinna weren't her parents? That didn't make sense at all. How could they not be? They were the ones who had raised her all her life. Everyone knew that she was their daughter. It wasn't as if she could have been adopted. There was only one possibility; they killed her real parents and faked it all along. But even that didn't make sense. Wouldn't they then have to take on the appearance of her real parents? Then again, they could easily just have manipulated others thoughts to believe that they were the real Deveko and Terinna. Whatever the truth was it was beyond belief.
"Now, Ciara, I need a little favor from you." Kyoko began, her voice going back to sounding calm and even a little kind. "You see, I'm actually trying to help you even if you don't understand how. I made sure that you had a seal on your powers that would prevent you from being endangered by those around you. I protected you up till now. I just had to wait for the right time."
Ciara didn't reply, for she didn't know what to say. Part of her wanted to yell and scream at the women who had pretended to be her mother, but the other part of her believed that she was telling the truth.
"To break this curse you have to do exactly what Deveko said you couldn't do." Kyoko pointed out. "You must make someone fall in love with you and you must also say that you love them too. Of course this cannot be fake. Both of you would have to be honest about your emotions, and this Van kid you have going after you.. well you know..."
"Know what?" Ciara asked Kyoko, not quite sure what he was saying.
"You didn't realize how he feels?" Kyoko asked as if surprised. "Why I thought it was obvious. He doesn't really love you. Any girl who has been loved could see that. He's just using you."
The sad thing was, Ciara couldn't help but to believe her. She had spent all that time thinking to herself that there had to be a catch somewhere when it came to Van, and Kyoko was giving her one even if it wasn't the truth. The denialistic Ciara simply was prone to believe such lies. "Well, what should I do?"
"You can test him." Kyoko suggested, glad to hear that Ciara was obliviously going along with her plan. "You could see if he truly wants to protect you, or if he is just pretending. Although in the end it could still just be for show."
"What kind of test are you talking about?" Ciara questioned further, wishing that Kyoko would simply tell her what to do point blank.
"You can approach him and see if he attacks." Kyoko replied, acting as if it wasn't a big ordeal at all. "However, instead of you being you I will be you and you will be me?"
"Why?" asked Ciara.
Kyoko merely laughed. "Why it's just part of the test."
"And if I don't agree?"
Kyoko looked towards Ciara, the warm feeling in her eyes disappearing in a second. She seemed much more fierce, which was also displayed in her words. "If you don't agree then I'll kill him." She said bluntly. "I told you already, he is not right for you. So, if you go along with the test there is a possibility you will still have him. If you don't you won't get him no matter what."
No response came from Ciara. What was she to say? Not only have Kyoko made it so that she believed lies, but she also made it so that she would have to face Van as someone that he hated, which meant that he would probably attack her. Kyoko was indeed extremely manipulative, and her tricks had worked even on Ciara.
"Oh, and if you fail to act like myself then he will still be killed." Kyoko added.
Ciara blinked, staring back at Kyoko. "Well, what if I don't know how to do that?"
"Don't worry." Kyoko said, going back to her calm soothing voice. "The moment you walk out the door you will look like me and you will also know how to act like me." She then began to walk towards the door. "Now come along darling you don't want to keep him waiting do you?" She announced, walking through the door, her appearance changing as she did so. Then, she walked down the stairs and out of the bar towards where Van was waiting outside.
"Van!" The Ciara impostor announced as she rushed over to him. "I can't believe you actually made me go in there by myself!" She said to him, pulling off a perfect Ciara-like act. Magic could do anything.
[um um so yea. Let's not have Van figure it out that Ciara is Kyoko and Kyoko is Ciara, because in the end if he does hurt Ciara who appears to be Kyoko at the moment that will add drama drama XD]

Van turned to face who he thought was Ciara, "But you said not to go in. What happened?" Van was confused again, was this another one of her games to see how gullible he was or what. Was she really upset about what she had found or had some guy done something. Thoughts of how he would hurt the man raced through his head. First he would start with his hands then the feet and work his way to the middle.
The guy had just dropped off a rather large duffel bag filled with what an asked for off with Van and it was still on the ground where the young man had left it.

"You should've learned that meant you were supposed to follow me!" Kyoko snapped, acting as if he was in the wrong and she had done nothing. "Gosh, Van, what ever shall I do with you?"

"Sorry babe, what happened?" Van figured that something had happened to her or else she wouldn't be this way. "Are you ok, or do I need to go beat the crap out of a drunken a*****e real quick?" Van smiled a bit, "I think I can take a drunk guy."

Ciara merely laughed. "Nothing bad happened. You should be proud of me I completely ignored all those guys. You should've been afraid I was going to take them up to my room or something." She pointed out to him teasingly.
"There wasn't much in there though... my room was still there so I think I was still an assassin, but other than that I found out nothing."

"Oh well, I was kinda looking forward to bashing in some guy's skull when I heard what they were saying when you entered." Van smiled back he didn't think that she would ever do anything like that to him. Or at least he hoped that she wouldn't. "So where are we going to look now."

"I really don't know..." Ciara replied, her tone immediately changing from playful to sad. "It seems like there's nothing to do..."
That was her entrance, Kyoko a.k.a Ciara then appeared right behind the two of them, which was completely involuntarily on her part. "Aw, how cute." She said mockingly to the two, not even trying to say there words. Both her actions and her words were not in her own control. The only thing she had left was her thoughts, which were still a bit jumbled.

Van's smile disappeared his eyes started to reflect rage. "Ciara, Stay Behind me." He reached into the bag and pulled out an old cd player and a copy of Demon Hunter. "I told you that if I ever Found you I would shove my daggers down your throat." Van gently placed the CD into the player, "You imprison us here, force us to go through hell, invade our privacy." He clipped the player to his side and ran the head phones to his ears the music already blaring in through them. "You must have thought I was lying." Van pulled the daggers from his hair he could hear his heart beat as the music swelled. He charged forward, "I will dye before I let you touch a single hair on her head." Van brought the daggers forward with all of his rage built into his strike.

"Aw, you actually think you can hurt me." Kyoko said ready to move out of the way, still keeping that mocking tone in her voice, even though Ciara herself was screaming in her mind. She just wanted to tell Van that it was really her, that who he was going to attack wasn't the women he hated. "You're pathetic."
"Van! You're going to get yourself killed!" Ciara, the real Kyoko, yelled at him seeming truly afraid.
