"No, my family comes from Germany, my father travels a lot though and I was either born in Italy or Ireland where my family now lives. Though non of us have the accents of either place cause it isn't considered becoming in my family line of work." Van shrugged, "I don't know whereI learned Russian,it surprised me more than anything else."

"So, you don't know stuff about yourself either?" Ciara asked him, now interested. Up to that point she really didn't know all that much about Van. Sure, she knew how she cared for him and that he returned the feelings, but she didn't know all the facts.

Van shrugged, "I know what choices I've made and why I've made them. I know my history and my family history. I never knew my mother. I never wanted to know my father." he stopped to think for a moment, "but there are things about me that I don't know just as well."

"I guess we all have secrets.. huh?" Ciara thought aloud. She had always just been concerned with herself so she never had really realized that others might have similar problems to her own. Besides, it wasn't as if she ever had friends to share such things with in the first place.
Trying not to dwell on it, and becoming determined to find answers once more, Ciara stood up and crossed her arms. "Well, we can't just lay around here, right? If I want answers then I'm actually going to have to go look for them."

Van stood up and put the hat back on, "Lead the way babe." He would be able to move better without the jacket. Whenever it was on he felt too encumbered. It was stiff compared to his normal denim and it wasn't like he had any thing to hide under it. "You know this place better than I do."

"Well, first I need to figure out how alike this world is to my real one." Ciara pointed out, walking over to her closet and going inside. She was glad to find that all her clothes were still there, which was odd considering she had thought it would be a much more lady-like selection of clothing. Maybe her 'mother' was right, maybe she really was still a slut just as she was in reality. Sighing and then selecting her outfit , Ciara changed quickly and went back out into her room.
"Sorry love, but we're going to the bar."

Van was a bit surprised to see how well might actually fit in at one of the concerts that he went to. He unbuttoned his sleeves and rolled them up to where they fit like a short sleeve shirt and then proceeded to untuck his shirt, he felt loose again more himself. He pulled on the shoes, "Fine be that way, but remember I'm armed."

"Oh please, I can take care of myself." Ciara said laughing a bit as she headed towards the door. "Besides I won't be staying in the actual bar part. It's an inn too... I just need to see if my room is still there or not. The owner always made sure I had one reserved. So, it will prove whether or not I'm an assassin here or not."

"Well aren't you just a naughty girl." Van said jokingly he didn't care what Ciara had done in her past so long as she was his now. He followed her to the bar.

"You're going to call me trash again aren't you!?" Ciara announced, going back to her whole acting as if she had just been insulted ordeal. "Maybe I should just stop talking to you..." Ciara then concluded as she walked through the various hallways in the house before finally reaching a door.
The door led to the great outdoors that was outside of her mansion. The front yard seemed just as extravagant as the rest of the house. The driveway seemed to last about forever and there were gardens all lined up against it. Finally, at the end of this extensive landscape was a large gate that blocked intruders from entering. To most the house looked extraordinary, but to Ciara it was simply normal. She had indeed lived there all her life, money was of no value to her.
Holding to her 'I'm not going to talk to you now' attitude, Ciara continued to walk, heading towards the bar that was just a bit aways from her mansion.

Van ran up behind her, "Don't be like that babe. I was only joking." He grabbed her by the waist from behind and whispering in her ear "You know I would never do that I love you too much." He stopped realizing what she was doing, "Your doing it again aren't you?" Van couldn't believe he had fallen for it again.

A smile crossed Ciara's lips before she began to laugh. However, not only did the fact that she had manipulated him once again made her smile, but also the fact that he said such things to her. Why he felt for her the way he did she didn't know, but she was going to make sure she enjoyed it.
"You're just too much fun, you know that?" Ciara said still laughing a bit. "Damn, I don't want to see you're reaction to drunk idiots hitting on me."

Van put on a false angelic face, "What are you afraid I'll start something?" He laughed a bit. His eyes were some what devilish, "Me, never." He smiled as he completed his words.

"Oh okay then. Maybe you should just stay out here, and I can just go in by myself and just do what I always do." Ciara suggested as if it was no big deal. "Who knows what will happen?" Ciara added before walking into the bar that they had finally come to.
Once inside Ciara found her surroundings extremely familiar. It was the same exact Tavern and Inn that she had had back in her reality. Nothing was different at all, she even recognized a few familiar faces that also immediantly recognized her unfortunately.
