Duo wondered for a moment if Harpy was okay, but then he sighed and yawned.
"Yeah, I agree... we can worry about further testing on those chips tomorrow," Mia said.

Harpy awoke with a start, for a moment she wondered where she was, then she remembered, she smirked a bit and got up out of bed, she started to make her way to the kitchen.

After they had decided to just call it quits for the day, Duo had gone off to get something to eat and then get some sleep. Even though it had felt like ages, it had only been a few days, and his ankle was still sore, too. He sighed quietly.
The following morning, he wandered into the mess hall for breakfast.
"Hey," he said, giving a quick wave to Harpy as he met her in the hallway.

Harpy gave a small smile, which ended up resembling a smirk, and waved up. 'Hi..' She turned into the mess hall and got herself some ceral and sat by herself in the corner.

Somewhere out in the middle of nowhere a figure stood along in the desert. It was hot but quiet with a certain serenity hovering in air. Of course, this all changed when a huge explosion went off, sending a tidal wave of sand off in some random direction. The figure jumped in the air, letting out a whoop before returning to what appeared to be a small shiny jet, the word 'Valkyrie' painted on the side. Grinning like a lunatic, the figure hopped inside.
"Mission successfull! Yay- I had no idea it would be that big!" Kayley grinned to herself, getting that warm fuzzzy feeling one gets when something wonderfully unexpected- or just wonderfull in general- happens. "Now, to get out of here before the men in black coats come after my soul..." Moments later the jet had vanished into the sky.

Mia yawned. She came into the mess hall shortly after Harpy and Duo, waving to both, and got herself from breakfast.
"Mind if I join you?" she asked Harpy.

Duo also grabbed some breakfast. "Me, too," he said, not waiting for Harpy to say yes as he sat down. He ignored Mia rolling her eyes at him as he dug into his food.

Alisha wasn't at the table. Instead, she was in Epyon. She worked with a sad look on her face as done as such. She really just didn't have the strength needed to do anything without Daniel's help. Or that was what she had running through her mind.

"Hm?" Duo sighed and shrugged. "Dunno," he said. "We hafta find one, first. The actual moving's the easy part." He frowned, swirling his spoon around in his cereal for a minute. "I don't know how many of the bases left are off the beaten path... but we should go soon... or your little buddy there is gonna keep showing up for you." Duo had a rather protective look on his face, showing that he'd stick up for Harpy if Matt came back to take her again.
