"I don't hold my breath," Sibyl simply retorted, seemingly without much thought at all as if it were effortless and natural to her, "that's for when you're under water and I'm not under water so there's no need to hold my breath. Sometimes I hold my breath when something smells really bad as well." She noticed him look at the walls and she could sense his sadness. However, she wasn't good at comforting or consoling others and it made her a slight bit uncomfortable to know that he was saddened. "What's the matter?" She decided to ask.

"I just feel very tired and alone." Jaden said simply as he cuddled into the couch. "It's strange to feel that again. It's been over a hundred years since I last felt like this. And before you ask "yes". You can help by coming over here and sleeping with me tonight..." His tail flicked as he caught this. "Not mating, just sleeping. I really don't want to be alone right now."

Sibyl merely stood there listening and shrugged when she heard his suggestion to her. It was harmless enough and she was aware that he wasn't interested in mating since he had one. Sibyl wasn't here out of interest in mating either, she was simply dragged here in the first place then returned out of boredom and once again to come back with some food. Her instinct told her that Jaden's request was an innocent one and that he actually was just lonely. "Well then you should sleep if you're tired," Sibyl responded to him simply enough. "And if you're wanting me to stay over then that sounds do-able, it's not like I was really doing anything anyhow. I suppose even a lone wolf can become tired of being lonely."
She was still settled on the floor and she figured that was where she was going to sleep since she didn't want to soil Myythren's apartment too much with her scent. Sibyl especially didn't want to soil the lycan's sleeping area as it was completely disrespectful and she tended to like staying on people's good sides if it could at all be helped. The less complications the better as far as Sibyl was concerned and right now just staying here and sleeping on the floor seemed like the least complicated thing to do.

Jaden rolled off of the couch and crawled over towards Sibyl. He lay down next to her and draped an arm over her. Sleep began to take him immediately. He really could remember having been like this on many different occasions. The first time was when his sister had snuck in some nights to keep him company. Funny how nostalgia worked.

Sibyl was somewhat taken off guard when Jaden crawled over to her and draped his arm over her. She'd been expecting to have to stay there but she hadn't thought he'd meant sleep right beside him especially while he was naked of all things. Sibyl herself didn't sleep, she merely laid there, still as ever as if she was frozen in time or was a statue of sorts. At the very least it wasn't a death grip or anything and she could squirm out if it was needed. Sibyl just decided to watch Jaden sleeping, not quite as trusting as him as to fall asleep in front of someone they'd just met. That and he might be weirded out that she reverted to a wolf when she was unconscious.

Jaden hugged Sibyl in his sleep for a long time. He was too peaceful to not. Despite how irritated he was with everything he still retained a certain amount of peace.

Sibyl merely laid there, not wanting to disturb his sleep since he'd asked her to stay there to sleep. She supposed she figured it was more of a sleepover thing as opposed to a sleep beside eachother on the floor kinda thing but whatever worked to get Jaden calmed down and feeling better she supposed was fine for the most part. It wasn't like he was asking much, all she was doing was lying there with him hugging her. The feeling wasn't icky or anything, it felt nice to the human part of her but the wolven part found it awkward especially since it knew he had a mate.

After several hours Jaden opened his eyes and yawned, rolling away from Sibyl. "Mmmmm... You're still here... I would have thought you'd crawl away a long time ago..."

"It's not like," Sibyl responded with a shrug, getting up from the floor after he rolled away, "it was the most terrible experience in my life. Far from it I'd have to say. That and I'm loyal to a fault and will not betray or abandon people unless it depends upon my own survival. Survival instinct rules over all the rest." She then tilted her head as she looked at him as if thinking and somewhat confused. "You are just so unpredictable sometimes and it makes me extremely unnerved yet I hang around anyhow. Human half warring with wolven half, it's interesting sometimes."

"Well I'm sorry to make you uncomfortable... But your instincts are a little off." In a gesture of simple affection he licked Sibyl. "I once spent a winter with a small pack of wolves in East Europe. When we slept we always cuddled up together as a comfort thing. I usually don't have any one to cuddle up to is all." Rolling back his body shifted as he assumed his wolf form and he cuddled back up to Sibyl, the cat now clutched in his jaws and being slowly chewed on.

Sibyl couldn't help but smile at Jaden correcting her. "Well my instinct isn't always right so I suppose it's possible though they're usually pretty dead-on when it comes to things." She listened to his story about his pack and nodded that it was generally a thing wolf packs did, however, hers didn't so she wasn't accustomed to it. In their pack the mates always slept together along with any pups they possibly had and those who had no one slept near but not with anyone. Their coats were thick in winter so they lived. She smiled and then decided to revert to her own oddly coloured wolven form.

The black wolf still had several scars visible thorough his messy black fur though the claw marks on his cheek and diagonal slash across his face and along his muzzle were extremely visible. Jaden pawed at the cat and tore one of it's legs off. Growling gently he chewed, snapping the bones like straw.

In wolven form, Sibyl's eyes remained lavender for the most part though on occasion her eyes would become hazel as opposed to their natural colour though she never knew why. This time her eyes were hazel and as usual the explanation for it was not there. Her muzzle was black and her forehead was a golden brown as well as a few specks of golden brown on her black ears. Her body was a mixture of the golden brown, black and some white mixed in and her tail was tipped with the black but mostly golden brown. She looked over to Jaden to see him devouring the cat that she'd brought him earlier and simply observed, her upper lip pulled up forming a wolven grin.

To Jaden ingesting the cat only took slightly more effort than breathing. In his hybrid form back in the day he had swallowed humans whole... of course that was after he crushed their bones into a more compact form until they were nothing but bags of meat.
His red eyes flicked up towards Sibyl and he stretched his jaw slightly since speaking wasn't something he did well as a complete wolf. "What are you... smiling about?..."

Sibyl never had and probably never would swallow a human whole though if she crushed them up enough it was probably possible. However, her digestive track would probably not appreciate it and she'd get a major stomach cramp or ache or both. Her body's system was pretty delicate since she was mostly canine. Eating chocolate was fatal to her as well as a few other things she was sure. Sibyl stretched out, placing her front legs out before her as if bowing almost. ~Just the fact that you enjoy eating things so fast and almost end up choking yourself sometimes as you did with the rabbits.~
