((You're misinformed about implants and the way you talk about them misinforms others.)) *I hadn't answered any of Vincent's questions. All of the conversation between Vincent and Meg had been nothing but a daydream in Vincent's mind. He quickly forgot everything about the daydream and found himself facing me during his introduction. I only stared at him in discomfort. No one wears suits at the beach. I was uneasy with him and so I said...* Rio, are you ready to go swimming? Rioushu He turned his head slowly to Meg and nodded. "Need any help carrying those things into the water?" Rio asked, wondering if he would be able to hold them up. It wasn't the weight that was the problem, but he doubted he could get his hands on enough of her chest to hold it up, but that sure as hell wasn't going to keep him from trying. Lol, I'll manage fine but you can try none-the-less. Let's go biggrin . *I jogged out to the water, dragging my enormous bouncing breasts over the sands with the greatest of ease. Rio did his best to hang on to one and support it.*

((Thanks for the link. I read through and checked a few of the referances. It supports what I'm saying.
But if this drags on and becomes an argument, I'm leaving. I come to gaia to have fun. Personally, I feel like you just attacked me, Quint. Hopefully that's not the case.
Before I begin I want to inform you(the reader) that anyone can edit a wikipedia entry. Because of that it's unreliable and refused as a credible source of information by many universities' faculties of science, medicine, and history.
I'm saying people are being misinformed because of vocabulary. There are important differences between the words "unsafe, harmful, dangerous" and what surgeons say are "risks".
Breast augmentation surgery carries the typical risk of any surgery. It's false to label it as "unsafe" and "harmful".
Some of the risks involved with the surgery include: The chance of infection The chance the surgery may need to be repeated The results may not match the recipient's expectations
If you pay attention to the statistics provided on the wikipedia page that was previously linked (In this case the information appears valid and supports what I'm saying.), you'll see that complications are rare. It's hardly an "unsafe" surgery.
Furthermore, implants now use saline, a substance that's produced and discharged by your body naturally. If a saline implant ruptures, very little (if any) harm is done to your body because it eliminates the saline that escapes from the rupture. I add that an implant is not a water balloon. It takes a critical TRAUMA (i.e. car crash / train wreck) or an actual STAB to the implant to cause a rupture.
Silicone implants are cosmedic fossils and most clinics no longer use silicone. The saline implant is more favourable.
The risks associated with breast augmentation surgery are comparable to the risks associated with a tonsillectomy or a caesarean section. How many people do you hear pointing fingers at tonsillectomies and calling them "unsafe"? Very few. How many women deliver children by caesarean section daily, in North America alone?
I am not a qualified plastic surgeon or a doctor (yet), but I feel it's important to inform yourself at the right sources. Before you decide on a surgery, please ask for information from several qualified plastic surgeons in addition to your family doctor. You also have the right to view and verify their professional credentials.
Refrain from making misinformed statements such as "Implants are unsafe and harmful to the body in the end anyway." because it can discourage a candidate for surgery from informing herself about a procedure that may actually benefit her or improve her quality of life.
Consider there is a large number of women who develop one breast very noticably larger than the other. She may turn to breast augmentation as a solution that will allow her to wear a bra comfortably. That's an example of the beneficial use of breast implants.))

((My apologies. I did not realize my statement would create such a fuss. I've read over a few medical papers, and my first instinct was to rule that implants can have complications that I think are unsafe. It is a personal opinion, not a fact, as you have demonstrated.
((And my character's data explains that he tries to be right and does take offense when he is wrong, yet he learns nonetheless.
((I was waiting for either an agreement or a correction of the information since he does not know everything there is to know about something.))

((I'm sorry about butting in that way, Scorpio. I just didn't feel right about letting it go after reading "unsafe" a second time.
It's true that complications can arise from breast augmentaion surgery but all surgical processes may create complications. A caesarean section carries a lot of risks and complications can arise too. But think about how many women get a caesarean section each day in the United States, and a growing number of women ask for it when it's really not necessary.
Unfortunately, breast implants have been controvertial since their invention and the procedure has fallen victim to far too many urban myths and misconceptions.))

((Man, glad I couldn't get on for that arguement. In anycase, Meg, you gotta stop controlling what other people's characters are doing. I understand not wanting to go on with a IC discussion, but it's still not fair to the other people rping. For instance, I don't think Quint would appreciate it if I went ahead and wrote 'Quint performed seppuku in the most painful manner on himself and died, without anyway of reviving in punishment of his jackassery' Though you may actually feel free to use that one <_<))
Rio's arm managed to hold one up easily, he just couldn't get his arm around another one enough to hold it up. Still, he was getting to squeeze her chest and she wasn't getting mad at him for it, all was well. When they reached the water, he set it down and quickly walked towards the deeper end, the cold of the water barely bothering him.

((Hold up.
I never said anything about it being really unsafe, I only said by the link that any surgery is somewhat dangerous, no matter what the area being affected.
Two, that wasn't an attack, I never meant any harm, I..nevermind. I'm sorry to have hurt you.
Rioushu.. You'll get yours later.))

((We are all well then? Excellent.))
Vincent did not wish to interject in their fun since it would be rude to do so. He simply snuck himself beneath one of the parasols put up for shade. He brought his knees up to use as a prop for the notepad he was producing out of his coat pocket.
He took the pen out of the rings attached to the pad, clicked it once to show the point, and then began to jot down notes on the display before him.

*The sea water took some of the weight off and I casually let myself float.* It might not be flattering to myself, but just like hippos, I'm more nimble in water.

Rioushu was still a little skeptical, to his knowledge, huge busts usually didn't help swimming ability. "Oh, okay, it's just that as far as I know, huge breasts aren't exactly hydrodynamic, I mean sure, you'll never drown, but moving forward or back would seem to be harder." He said, wondering if she was strong enough to push them through water as well as air.

I weigh less in water than I do on land. You're putting too much thought in hydrodynamics and physics. I'm not a power boat.

"Excellent boyancy, very good. Surprising, but good. Strength is unmeasurable, but estimated to be able to lift at least one ton," said Vincent to himself outloud as he jotted down those very words.
He wondered if everyone on the island possessed unique qualities. Quint was a tactical powerhouse, Gatz was unpredictable, Yuriko was physically strong and nimble, and Meg had extrodinary strength and figure. He was still waiting to see if Rioushu had anything special to him besides his incredible alcohol intake.

Rioushu walked over to Meg and shook his head. "Man, bet these must've saved you a couple of times in the water." He said, then looked out into the ocean. "Wanna race? The waves aren't too bad, so it should be fair."

Rioushu looked out to the ocean again and back to Meg. "Out about forty feet. Alright, ready, set, I'm gonna win!" He exclaimed and he dived underwater, speeding ahead underwater.
