Kaya smiled softly. Kyosuke seemed to be warming up to him quickly enough. At least that one problem he wouldn't have to fight with. he thought the other two might be harder to win over though. He knew they didn't trust him after he'd come with the intent to kill Aya earlier, but still, he had said he didn't kill vampires, just evil demons. And he'd even tried to protect Kyosuke, when the wierdo had showed up and tried to take him, suffering damage in the process. His hand went tenderly to his chest, and though it didn't hurt anymore, he still flinched at the thought of a scar. He wasn't narcissistic but he thought that the scar would make him less attractive to others. Suddenly though, he found himelf thinking about Aya Kyo and Rin."Maybe they don't want me here, because they think I'll break them apart?" he told himself, more as a question to himself than anything else.

Kistion stepped into the shadows, the lsun throwing th ewhole parkinglot they were in, into a burning deasert for him.
He smiled from the shadow and licked his lips.
"We will meet here tonight love, I promise to reward you then." He shouted at Songi and then he disapeared into a doo.r

Kyosuke looks back at Aya and his face was sad for a split second before turning back to the impassive look on his face. "Aya-san, just because we caused the pain, does not mean we can not soothe it." he whispers. He turns to Rin and hugs his shaking frame and turns his head to look back at Aya. "Aya-san, Please...if he does not wish to talk to us, then let him tell that to us and let Kaya-san try to help then."

Aya saw Rin's tears and he blinked back his crimson eyes to violet.
Ignoring Kayas statements he walked up to Kyosuke and Rin and gently took Kyosukes hands in his.
Kneeling beside Rin.
"Kyosuke, I understand now, please can I speak with Rin alone?" he asked softly, his one hand softly resting on Rin's shaking shoulders.
"Why don't you go keep Kaya company? we won't be long." He said with a sad sort of smile as he let kyosues hands go and then turned to Rin.
He sat down on the tiled floor with the little human and softly put his hands over those shaking shoulders.
His violet eyes trying to find a connection within Rin's own eyes befor he spoke.

Kyosuke nods his head in understanding as he silently stands and leaves the room without looking back. He closes the door gently not making a sound. He walks over to the couch where Kaya laid. He sat down on a chair across from the couch and sat there and was silent. His face was blank and his eyes showed that his mind may have been elsewhere in his thoughts.

Kaya looked at Kyosuke through oddly bright eyes. He'd shifted his vision to angel eyes so he could see Kyo's magical essence. It seemed to be strong, yet the flow was irregular. Kaya knew that was normal when one was experiencing an emotional variance. He felt sure Kyosuke wasn't certain exactly how he felt, causing the irregularity in his essence."You gonna be ok, kid?" he asked softly as he closed his eyes for a moment, the light leaving them once he opened them again."Wanna talk about it?" He shifted his weight slightly, sliding his hand from under his body, where he'd been laying on it.

Kyosuke slowly lifted his head after bowing his head for a moment. As his eyes were releived, it was unaturally bright and seemed to glow. He continued to look up until his gaze was facing the ceiling as if he did not hear the other's question. Kyosuke soon blinked and his eyes returned to normal light as he shifted his gaze back to Kaya. "I will be alright, arigatou for asking Kaya-san." he whispers softly, giving him a reassuring look.

"Ok. I just wanted to make sure." he forced himself hold a soft chuckle inside."It's funny you know. Young as I am, I have my parents memories. Mom and pop both, they had shared experiences. They both left family behind or had their families taken from them. They had a child that neither had wanted at first. A child born from a taboo love affair. An angel and a demon. They had me, though, as much as they loved me....I am barred from both heaven and hell until I can earn my right of passage into my adulthood." he sighed, but quickly formed a cross with his hands."Though, I have tried for seventeen years, I still have not earned my place in heaven. So I will vow here and now, I will not try and earn either until i have a reason to. Until I find the one thing that gives me reason enough...I will live in a purgatory...a torn world between lifes passing and it's second begginning."
In a flash of white light and a blaze of green flames, a man in pearly robes with large white wings stood in front of him, right beside a woman with a dark tan, dressed in sparkling crimson and with large black wings. Together they spoke, their voices resonating throughout the building."So you yourself have made the vow, so you yourself have cut the threads for now. 'Til loves first truest kiss, 'til passions first soul deep embrace. Between the worlds, your fate hangs. Between life and death, the chimes shall pang. Heaven and Hell reject your strife, and so for now you live a mortal spirits life." the mans left hand landed on his chest and the womans right hand landed on the man's left. Threads of light and fire crept from Kaya's chest and around the touching hands."Bodiless in holy light, form is given only in night. Power of hand is taken from the flesh, but magic is strong when spirits clash." the threads of magic vanished as did Kaya's body. He remained right where he had been laying but his form had been turned from flesh and bone into spirit. He no longer had a solid body during the day.

"Huh?" Kaya didn't understand what Kyosuke was saying to him. He pretty much sucked at learning other languages. He thought that he must be asking if he was alright though so he answered as such."I'm fine, just not physical anymore. At least, not as long as the sun is up." he smiled warmly though, even in the fact that he wasn't able to touch things, or people during the day."Those two you saw, they were parents. They must have combined their power to tweak the curse. Normally I'd be spirit always until I found my reason. They made it so I can still be human at night, though, and I can still use my magic."
