"As far as I know, Death seems like a good fellow" Alanna smiled back at Senstren, she would never abandon him in a time like this. Her eyes set back on Pyre and she dove to the other side, watching the bladed chain double back for another strike. She had trouble moving out of the way, the blade catching her on her shoulder.

Pyre grinned as he saw the blade hit Alanna, twitching his fingers to make the chain wrap around her. As he did this, Senstren made a final parry, knocking all three mini-chains out of the way at once, and charged his brother, delivering a kick square to his chest. Pyre fell back, tugging on the chain that had wrapped around Alanna. Senstren charged towards him, raising Nameless up, ready to spear through both Pyre and the stone floor when Pyre yanked back hard on the chain which had reformed into it's original one-point state. Suddenly, the point shot through Senstren's lower torso, just under the ribcage, and tore out through the side. Senstren let out a cry, dropping Nameless and falling to the ground. Pyre lost all focus on Alanna, letting the chains drop around her, marveling in the blow delivered to Senstren.

Her eyes widened at Senstren as he fell, but she kept her mind straight. The chains fell from around her and she made a mad dash at Pyre. The two short daggers held with the points back, ready to slice down as she came to him. Before he could react she was on him, one dagger stabbed at his side as the other was lifted and slashed at his face. She retreated a few steps back after the attack keeping her feet moving to be ready.

The feel of the knives broke Pyre out of his victory trance. He looked down at the blood coming out of his side. "Why do you still fight woman? I have slain countless necromancers, but my goal is nearly complete." He glanced smiling down at Senstren, who was pointing at the blue choker on his neck trying to whisper the word "break" to Alanna through the blood that was leaking out of his mouth. Pyre brought his foot down on Senstren's wrist. "Stop struggling with life brother, that way you won't live to see me finish off your girlfriend here." As he said this, he pulled in his right hand chain, and started spinning it.

She looked between the two. Prye was in the way of her getting to Senstren. She tilted her head slightly trying to make out the words he mouthed to her. "Uh..". He stare turned to a serious glare as she threw a dagger at him, just to get him to remove his foot from Senstren. "Necromancers? I hate to break it to you, but necromancers are people." She rushed in at him, ducking low and gripping the blade in her hand, ready to strike up at him, like an uppercut. Just with her whole body lunging up.

Pyre stepped back, off of Senstren's wrist, swinging the chain to knock the knife out of the air, took two more steps back, and swung the chain at Alanna at neck level. "I disagree. From what I have seen, from what my brother has done, you are monsters."

"Funny. The only one monster i see here is you.", she stepped back and ducked down out of the chains path, raising a hand up to grab the chain and pulled back on it. She tugged harder, as if playing tug-o-war to pull him closer to her. She looked down at Senstren and then up again. With a quick hand she pulled a few daggers out and hurled them at a few vital locations, while at the same time following up by running right behind them.

Pyre let go of the chain and smashed his fists together. Instantly, they became bathed in golden flame. He then used his forearms to smack several of the knives out of the way. Seeing there were too many, he suddenly became a blur, his hands leaving flame trails in the air as he darted to the side, now about ten feet from Senstren's body. He held out his right hand, and his chain slithered back to him as though it were a metal snake.

She was just as surprised as she was excited. What an interesting technique he used, to make his hands an actual weapon. She cocked her head and advanced upon him, a dagger held tip down in her palm. She was getting closer and closer, but he was getting faster and faster. Every moment it was harder for her eyes to follow his movements. She was playing to much on the defensive side and now was time to step it up. Her lips began to move, but no words came from them. A soft grey mist seeped from each hand, covering the blades and dripped down them like water. She really disliked tapping into her powers, but it seemed she was going to need it. Once he knocked the blades away she was already there waiting to attack again. Her eyes caught his last movement and she thrusted her leg backwards, level with his chest. Senstren was only a few feet away now. Just another attack could get her in closer to rip off the collar.

Pyre caught the bottom of her foot with incredible speed and pushed back. However, he was unable to absorb all the force and stumbled backwards until he fell down. Almost instantly, he was back on his feet, his eyes following Alanna.

She pulled her foot away and leaped down at Senstren, landing belly down by him. She outstretched her arms and reached for the collar, catching a little loop with her finger. It gave the extra reach for her other fingers to grab on and she tugged it off of him.

Silence struck the forest like a physical force, only broken by the sound of a small, white ring that struck the ground next to Alanna. Pyre stared at the creature that now appeared before him. It stood on all fours, 6 feet tall at the back, with a body length of about 10 feet. The creature seemed to be made of the blackest area of the night sky with two reddish eyes that appeared to be coals. Pyre immediately sprung into action, leaping to the side as the creature charged him. Pyre summoned forth magical energies into his chain and swung it at the creature, though it had no effect on it. The shadow once again charged Pyre, and Pyre jumped clear over it into the air. As Pyre was in mid-air, the shadow appeared next to him as though it had jumped next to him, and smashed Pyre into one of the stone spires. Pyre attempted to get up, but the shadow crashed into him, sending him through the stone and onto the ground 50 feet away. Coughing up blood, Pyre raised his fist up into the air, and brought it down on the earth next to him. A small chasm then opened in the ground and he shouted to Alanna "I will be back! And next time, I will finish this!" Then, he vanished into the hole. The creature that was once Senstren looked in the hole and then glanced at Alanna, taking a few steps closer to her, tilting his head slightly to the side as though uncertain of what to think of her.

"Yeah, yeah.", she mocked Pyre as he left waving a hand as a smug goodbye. She looked at Senstrens new form in awe, bringing her hand back down to her side. She was a curious one and when people transformed it fascintated her greatly. She tilted her head in unison with the black creature, giving off a harmless and innoccent stare. The collar was held delecatly in her hands, careful not to break it. She blinked, wondering to herself. "Will he let me put it back on?" Slowly, she leaned forward straightening her neck out and speaking in a pleasent tone. "Senstren?"

A tear began to form on the face of the creature. Suddenly, a mouth formed in the rip showing off several rows of razor sharp teeth, and the shadow roared. The roar sounded like a choir of death screams erupting forth, shattering the silence of the forest in a deafening blast. Then the shadow charged at Alanna, tearing up earth and stone in it's movement. This was no longer Senstren. This was every ounce of Free Magic that was contained in Senstren in physical form, knowing only destruction of the living.

The ground started to shake and the creature hurdled towards her. She was sitting near a stone pillar and dodge rolled out of the way, tumbling away and back up to her feet. She looked back at it and went to grab a dagger to defend herself, but stopped. Crap.. she can't hurt it. She held that collar looking at it, she needed to get it back on. Hopefully it would change him back.
