Leo nodded, "As you wish, master." they walked out together and he was surprised they weren't taking a carriage. maybe the master wanted to be discreet? he didn't mind, actually it would be nice to not be stared at for showing up in grandeur. he followed the master down to the town and into the shopping district were it was easy enough to find a shop that sold material. "master? would you help me to pick what colors your sisters would like best?"

Elliot was worried he wasn't blending it, ears lowered, eyes shifting back and forth and arms crossed over his chest defensively. He'd chosen the most plain clothes he had, no one seemed to be staring at him too much. he didn't feel well, he felt sick, sickly nervous. Judging by the speech here, his was too high class, well, not completely, he saw some low ranking nobles as well. "what?" He asked, ears perking nervously before lowering halfway again. "Colors, well Annabelle loves pink, as shown by her hair. I think Martha will wear any color as long as it doesn't look overly girly and Emily I believe is a more..." Her clothes were so plain and dull, once he thought about it. The prince felt like a terrible brother. "She looks wonderful in red."

Leo slide hsi hand into the master's and gave him a small smile as he lifted the other's fingers to his lips. "i'll hurry, ok?" he moved to the cloth and began to search through, finding the perfect ones for each dress. for Annabelle he picks a variety of pinks from light to dark of soft cloth that felt and looked like silk, but was more sturdy. for Martha he picked light blue and dark brown material that was cotton and looked high class, but was sturdy enough for the tom boy to romp in without worry of ruining it. for Emily he took his time, comparing the colors and finally decided on a dark red with white for the frills. he also got the thread he'd need for the embroidery and then brought his selections to the prince, smiling, "finished, master. all that is left is to pay and head back home."

Elliot smiled, comforted by the hand in his. "Take your time. Rushing never made a wonderful product." But he followed Lily around, silver eyes looking around and analyzing things much like when he was a child, though this time he didn't stray. Despite being born in this town, the prince felt like a complete foreigner, the speech, the smells, the styles. This land was his? Dogs were walking through the crowds, people of every species, or common to the mountains, were here. Owls, bears, rabbits, hares, mice, then the normal humans, then mixed. It fascinated him, even watching some kids run through, obviously playing around, was completely new. Elliot had been raised to be polite and mild-mannered, he'd never completely run off, and he never really had friends his age. Just servants who were older and his mother and father. The noise was loud to the point of being nearly painful for the sensitive ears, talking about this, that, then something new with every person he passed. While they waited in stores Elliot spoke to the owners, the cashier, other patrons, listening to the rough voices and accents, bumping into quite a few foreigners and immigrants, some even from Reta and the bordering nations, even spotting the winged people of Kasp in his country. He had come off a little, strong, with his first few conversations but he corrected himself, enjoying his conversations, on the knowledge of the common folk. While waiting for leo to decide on which threads to use for embroidery, a few other children had come up, each selling things. The poor ones, it pulled at his heartstrings, Elliot buying flowers he didn't need and little handmade knickknacks, just to watch their smalls eyes widen at the amount he was buying and the copper and silver coins being handed to them in return. One had even asked to pet his ears, and with the smallest bit of nervousness he let the small hands pet him. No doubt he had made that child's day, and in the end he'd asked her name before allowing her to be off, smiling as Lily exited. The sun was starting to set as their day of shopping was coming to a close, Elliot holding what he could without Leo stating it was his own job to carry them. Merely boxes of fabric, hardly heavy, including everything else he couldn't help but buy to help those less fortunate than him. "I have never walked so much in my life." He stated, though he seemed happy about it, the walking, the talking, his throat was certainly a little rough from all the exciting chatter and conversation. "All the sounds, the smells, the sights. It was incredibly, no, wonderfully, no, enjoyable. It was incredibly and wonderfully enjoyable." He stated. "I am thankful i didn't wear my boots, and no one paid me a second thought, not my face, and very few questioned my manner of speaking. Incredible! I wasn't even aware as to how many tourists we got, it's the largest town in the kingdom, but we are so high in the mountains i wasn't aware we'd get some from Kasp, Kasp! Of all places." he laughed. "And so many people and traits and appearances. So many flirtatious women." Quite of a few of those were the daughters or wives of nobles. Not to mention the crystal that read his emotions were few and far between, rare! He could only recall seeing three, and they were so small and minute that if they changed colors you wouldn't notice! "I'm glad I came along with you, I would have missed this experience. How did you enjoy it?" Then paused, Elliot had been so distracted by the town he hadn't been keeping an eye on Leo, what if someone had touched him and he wasn't aware?

Leo listened to the master and was glad the man had enjoyed himself so much. The master being in a good mood was always a good thing. when asked about himself he looked down, "i very much enjoyed myself, master, thank you." no one had questioned him, no one had yelled at him or tried to touch him. no one had tried to force him into an alley or even noted him more than to note his looks. he knew he was good looking, he wouldn't have done as well as he had as a bentien were he not, but at the same time it felt nice to only be looked at. "if it pleases you, shall i start work on the dresses upon our arrival, master?"

"If you wish, I'm so happy and still filled with so much excitement! I don't know where I should waste my energy first. I don't even think i could sit still at this rate." He said, doing his bes tto tone down the excitement in his voice. "Some of those buildings were so incredibly small! I felt trapped, but it felt wonderful! i'm used to such large spaces. And the adults! Very many looked so incredibly happy just to be there! Imagine, happy to be in a crowded area filled with loud noises! Did you see those children who were selling things?! I wanted to take them to the castle and feed them." he paused, black ears perking. "Leo, that's a brilliant idea! We can hold a feast for the children of the town. I'm not sure how my sisters will enjoy being exposed, but it will be brilliant! I love it! I should plan for that right away!" His walk was quick, slowly making is way back to the castle. "Plans, invitations, oh." he paused again, brain working quicklyunderneath the black hair. "When I come back, for the girls' birthday it will be a giant feast, the girls will recieve presents from only me, and they will have plenty of children their age to play with. A lot of the girls I saw were not rough at all, they could very well play with kids their own ages and," he continues to ramble and talk before giving an excited laugh, entering his home. "Welcome home Prince Elliot.' The few maids walking around greeted, bowing to both him and Lily before quickly returning to their duties. "Yes yes, oh it is brilliant! But I will need to discuss this with the triplets, oh they must take this well. But we need to hide this from the Prime Minister, I know for a fact he likes such grandeur events, I will not have him spoiling this one. Come, Lily! You can make the clothes later, we have planning to do! Or make them while we're planning. First though, asking my sisters."

Leo bowed back to the maids, but was enjoying the master's excitement about his plan. however he wanted to get the dresses done in time, "um, master? forgive me, but may i be excused to work upon the dresses in our rooms while you speak with your sisters? i should be able to finish them before we leave, but i need to get started quickly if i wish to have them done in time." he bowed, "please forgive me, i know this was my own idea to take on this part, i do not wish to seem like i am ungrateful for your generosity in allowing me to do this for you."

He glanced back, pouting slightly. "If you must, Lily. I have no objections, timing and punctuality dictates our everyday lives." He said, going through the halls. "We shall have the party after we return from Falia, this way there is plenty of time for everyone to prepare the needed materials and foods that will take a while. After all, you can't make everything in one day And two weeks time should be well enough, three weeks even." He peered down the hallway where the Prime Minister's room was, listening careflly before moving past int and down a new hall, opening his sister's door. "My favorite sisters!" he exclaimed, placing down the things in his hands to walk over to the three, beaming down at them. "You're unusually happy today, Brother." Emily said, unable to hodl back her own smile at his happiness. "Did something good happen today?" "A wonderful idea, for your birthday." "what about it?! Oh will we have a party? will I be getting my own horse?" Annabelle asked excitedly, standing up and bouncing. "Let us listen to what I have to say, first. Your birthday is during the week I'll be gone. So we can postpone your party for when I return, this way I can celebrate it with you. However, you will all be turning nine, yes? How about, instead of inviting the children of nobles this year, and let's face it they're all terrible." "I don't want to wear a dress on my birthday." martha huffed. Annabelle gave a questioning look to Emily. "Then who will come to our party if not nobles?" "You won't need to, now let me finish. We will throw your party, but because you are both old enough to make public appearances, we will be inviting the children of the town, including those less fortunate." Silence met his ears. "That's wonderful!" Annabelle squealed. "Sounds like a rotten idea to me." "Will it be safe?" Emily asked. "Of course it will be, it will only be children. We'll have a large feast, and no doubt nobles will send you lots of presents." "I'm so thrilled! What will I wear?" the eldest triplet squealed excitedly, hugging Lily. "Is not my brother a genius, Miss Lily?" "But why common kids? they won't bring us presents." "But you will be exposing them to your life, and we'll be giving them presents as well." And glanced at Lily, though Elliot was confident in his argument and would win, a small bit of Lily's input would help.

Leo nodded and followed the master to the princess' rooms. he waited off to the side, watching as they spoke, but when addressed he nodded. "very much so, princess. it is a good idea to invite them because then they can be princes and princesses if just for one day. they do not get very much to eat and having a feast where they can eat as much as they will like will make them very happy. it is always a good thing to help the people in your country, princesses because that will make them see that you are good kind rules and they will love you all the more for it." he didn't know what the master wished him to say, and he hoped that this would help

Emily thought about it for a moment. "I suppose if we're helping other people, and as long as they could take food home. I wouldn't mind giving them presents, they must not have very many nice things." Annabelle squealed, grabbing her sister's hands and bouncing. "Yes! Yes it will be splendid! Oh Martha you must agree to this! Agree or you will become an old spinster!" The short-haired one just stared. "I don't need to wear a dress?" Elliot shook his head. "I will have an outfit specially made for the three of you." "And there'll be lots of meat?" "More types then you know of." She thought a moment longer, Annabelle's staring digging into her skull before she exhaled. "Fine, we can throw a party. But only when i see my outfit! I don't want any frills on it!" "Lots on mine! I love frills!" Elliot clapped his hands. "Wonderful! Just absolutely wonderful! You may invite whomever you want if you want to invite your friends. Just remember once they know of the other children coming, they may not come, so choose widely." he hugged his three sisters happily. "Oh you will enjoy your party, I promise." And kissed Emily's head before letting them go, kissing Annabelle's and then Martha's. "I will leave to plan it. You three continue your playing." And motioned for Lily to follow, picking up the things he had dropped earlier and exiting, unable to refrain from grinning. "Lily you are wonderful. I may just fall in love with you." And chuckled happily to himself, knowing full well it was too late for that.

Leo flushed at the master's words and dropped his eyes, "i only wish to keep you happy, master. i need for nothing more than that." a bentien could never fall in love, this was one of the most important rules that had been taught him. his worth was only in his ability to please his masters, love was only a distraction on that was not allowed. he followed the master back to their room and gathered the items from him, "master, please excuse me, i shall get to work on the princess' clothing right away." he kept his face downward, still blushing and not wanting the prince to see. he turned and moved to a chair that was out of the way before he started to work. Annabelle's would be first because it would require the most busy work with the frills and various colors. he studied the notes he'd taken about the girl's input before he began to cut the material. though the outfit looked lavish and complicated, it was easy enough to do. some with all the other dresses as well.

"Well if I do fall in love with you I'd be the happiest man alive." He countered with a raised eyebrow, walking in silence, trying to peer at Leo's face who kept on looking away and keeping his face out of sight. Elliot gave up eventually, opening the door to the study and walking in, allowing the other to take the items. "That would be for the best, yes. Try not to rush the outfits. You have until the end of the week to complete them." he said, sitting down at his desk and working on invitations. He had to make them sound official, as was all documents written by him, but simple all at once. If there was something Elliot knew about himself, he could never make things sound simple without sounding rude. But the children didn't need to bring presents either, no doubt their parents would spend what money or savings they had to buy their children nice clothes to attend the party in. Since they were low on guards, whatever guards the king would allow would be standing guard in the poor part of towns to prevent any thievery before, during, and after the party. No children made people feel somewhat brave. Elliot would be keeping an eye on the party, as would servants, to prevent any child-borne ruckus. The Prime Minister was bound to crash it, and the king would only stroll in once or twice. What about allergies? Well, the kids should be smart enough to not take what they shouldn't eat, but there was always a doctor somewhere in the castle. The invitation slowly began to take shape in the rough draft, Elliot working on small designs for the border, more then once throwing sketches to the floor in rejection before finally finishing. Why had writing an invitation been so hard? It was already dark, and tomorrow he would need to go to the printing press again to print out the unknown amount of invitations. How many children were in the kingdom? He'd ask in the morning. Black ears twitched toward Leo, prince turning around in his chair to watch him. He had worked rather fast on that dress, and it was made rather well. "Shall we go to bed after you've finished, then? You seem rather intent on finishing the dress." he said with a teasing smile.

Leo looked up and smiled, "master, please go to bed first. i do not wish for you to loose sleep because of me. i promise you i will go to bed as soon as i have finished Princess Annabelle's dress." he'd already completed the lowest layer and was building up from there, adding the ruffles and frills that would make the dress poof out like the princess liked. after the dress was sewn together, he'd embroider and add the more nit picky details. "please, master, you need your sleep."

"I will not lose sleep. It gives me time to inform you, real quick." He said, watching her continue the needlework and designing. "Tomorrow I will need to print out all of these invitations, so I will need to go back into town. You will be staying here to complete the dresses, but you will be staying with my father." The man paused, clenching his jaw as he held back a yawn, exhaling softly. "Knowing my father you will no doubt be spending the majority of your day with the Prime Minister as well." Who was his father's, and no doubt mother's, lover. It would never leave his mind, the Prime Minister was practically his second father, or his first. Sudden horror, what if he was really the Prime Minister's son. No! He refused to believe that he had such idiotic blood coursing through his veins! "As much as I would like to take you with me, you have dresses to finish, I know you want to finish them in time, and I would liked them finished in time as well. But you need your sleep as much as I do, Lily. We need to remember that."

Leo looked up when he was told he'd be with the master's father for the day tomorrow, his hands stilling for a moment, but he quickly looked down and began to work again. "as you wish, master. but please, i beg you go to sleep first. if you wish i could sing for you, master? would that help you to sleep better?" he didn't want the master to stay up late just because of him, expecially when he had such important work to do the next morning
