*During the night Moonstruck awoke, hearing the fight. She could not see very far infront of her and walked into the darkness aimlessly, bleating quietly, her lungs still small and not yet done developing. She stopped, feeling a rush of air brush by her head followed by a swift, hard blow. She tumbled violently to the ground, and lay unconcious on the ground.*
*It was the white stallion who had hit her as he reared. Sepsis shot her head up, but out of the darkeness, the moon being nothing but a sliver, she searched the ground about her, neighing desperately, swinging her head about, searching for her foal in panic. The white stallion shoved against Ghost.*
See what you caused, I was trying to move away from them and now my foal is DEAD!
*He pushed against Ghost, charging his head down rapidly, though out of blindness missing almost every time, grazing Ghost's shoulder and neck deeply.*
*Sepsis became overwhelmed at the shout of death about her own foal, could she really be dead?!! She stood up, and opened her eyes wide, her pupils dialating nearly covering her irises, she found Moonstruck, merely a slight silver glow on the ground, not moving, and she assumed the worst. She became enraged, the loss of the one thing she loved most, taken from her in an instant.*
*She plunged to the lighter stallion, knowing it was the pink-eyed one and bit hard, repetetively, she tore at his flesh, enjoying his screams in pain, she bit his flank and pushed him down, ripping some of his skin away from him. He fell hard and fast, and she reared, beating down on his body with all of her weight, she bruised his flesh, tore his muscles and broke his ribs, puncturing his lungs, and licked his wounds, giving him a different death, slow and painful.*

Diamond woke up harsely, by the sounds of screams and quickly dragged herself up, making her foal kick harder and harder. Diamond whinnied frightend of this scream making her whinny fill the whole cave. She snorted and pranced around uneasily tossing her head a few times, her coat getting even sweatier and her foal kicking even harder. The sand was still covered on Diamond's body, and it made her coat itcy. She stopped prancing around trying to keep calm. Her foal kicked lighter, and Diamond nuzzled her stomach actfintly apologizing for the prancing. She snorted softly and looked out of the cave, the clouds getting darker and rain starting to fall heavily down, giving a huge boom of thunder and a flash of lightning that filled the whole cave, making Diamond jump, and flick her ears around nervously.

Ghost roared. "That is your OWN FUALT!" He bellowed at him, wincing due to the injury he received. He then let Sepsis finished him and walked over to Moonstruck and lay down by the tiny filly. He draped his wing over her frail body and nudged her gently. He saw her eyes flicker slightly and he breathed in relief. "Sepsis, she's alive..." He said in relief.
Evander heard the violent screams and his ears pricked towards the noises. A drop of rain fell on his muzzle and he hissed, backing into the cave again.

*Sepsis let up, not sure if he was still alive by some strand of luck. He gasped for air, making his lungs bleed more and somehow he sustained agonizing life for minutes longer, seeing his foal alive he hadn't any idea why he was dying for it. He tried to move his legs but couldent, he tried to lift his head but didn't have the stregnth, he tried to take a breath of air but like a popped balloon he quickly suffocated.*
*Sepsis looked to the north and saw a dark cloud raining down upon the caves.*
That rain may be heading here, next..
*Sepsis walked gently towards Moonstruck, who was lifting her head, bleating for her dam. She stood near her and helped the still frail filly up off the ground.*
We should probably be heading back..

Ghost shrugged his wing off the filly and got to his feet. "Yes...let's go." He said, walking beside Sepsis and Moonstruck. He looked up at the enormous raincloud and snorted. "Why is it raining, I could have sworn the raining season ended months ago..." He said. They approached the caves and Ghost saw Kipcha standing by the entrance. He whinnied to her.
Evander poked his head out of the cave for a moment to see Ghost, Sepsis and her filly approaching the caves. He sighed in relief, then returned inside the cave and reclused himself to a corner. He tucked his forelegs under him and lie down, laying his head on the cold floor and falling asleep.

Kipcha nickered and trotted to him. She was relieved to see him and Sepsis and Moonstruck. She nuzzled him lovingly. "Oh Ghost your hurt." She gently licked the graze in his shoulder and neck. Her ears quivered, showing her worry.

*Sepsis looked back at the horrifying mess, a red stained white coat, his red, no longer pink eyes stayed open, the same miserable and pain-induced expression he had left this world with. She would go back tommarrow and decide wether his soul be blessed towards Hevan or damned to Hell. Right now somewhere it lingered on this earth, stricken in the eternal pain he would now feel. Sepsis felt again guilt. He didn't do as much damage as she had though at first, and to curse him with the feeling of pain for all eternity, even after he gave her what she had longed for for years. She stopped, Moonstruck stopping, too, and walked towards Kipcha and Ghost.*
Keep an eye on Moon..Theres something I have to do..
*Sepsis barreled back towards the ocean, avoiding the jungle, galloping faster than she had in many months of heavy pregnancy, and weeks more of having to stay by Moonstruck's side. She slowed and quickly stopped as she reached the body, wolves already comming towards it, she bared her teeth, flattening her ears and scared the two skittish grey wolves into the jungle of darkness, waiting for her to leave the potential meal.*
*Sepsis looked at the body in guild and disgust, feeling more weight upon her back now. She stood a moment, staring at the body then lowered her head, taking a good strong inhale of the odor already setting in. She jerked her head back and turned her head, vomiting, she quickly raced to a nearby tidepool. It was beautiful. Deep and wide, fillied with starfish and other ocean inhabatants of an array of bright colors, even in the darkness. She laid down, letting the water consume her entire body until she felt as if she would suffocate, as her lungs ached and her mind went crazy, screaming at her legs to push her out of the water, and screaming at her lungs to fill with precious air. But she didn't. She endured the pain the white stallion had, and finally rose from the water, finding the wolves were venturing back, though quickly receding as she approached the body, the water on her coat dripped on it, somehow glowing and shimmering like the stars themselves each drop that landed over his wounds and skin*
*Sepsis shook, much of the water falling upon the body. She stepped carefully over it, and began to nudge his insides back inside, pushing his coat more into place, and licked the wounds. But this time, it was different, she had abandoned her former self with the vomit and with the tide pool, possibly to be washed away into the ocean. As she passed her tounge over each wound, as it passed and left a fresh scar was left behind. The white stallion now had scars riddling his stomach, side and flank, his intrails were mixed up and his muscles and bones and lungs were very weak. But he slowly healed. She murmered some inaudible words, and assured his healing body would be left undisturbed by the hungry and vengant for the night.*
*She walked back to the tide pool and soaked in it halfway, gaining back the feeling of herself. And she walked back to the herd, her muzzle still coated with blood, and the heavy taste still in her mouth.*

The rain slowly stopped, once in a few minutes lightning litting up the whole cave and once a few times hearing thunder in the distaince towards the mountains. Diamond's gem glowed as she now layed down in the darkness, her gem lighting around her body. She snorted softly, closing her eyes trying to fall into a sleep. Her foal kept on kicking her, keeping Diamond awake trying to settle the little foal down, nipping at her stomach jently. It would be any day soon that her foal would be born. She slowly fell into a light sleep, keeping her ears out for danger. Morning would be rising in hours.

*Sepsis walked as far as she could, her knees buckled and she collapsed out of exhaustion not far past the jungle, not being able to move a single muscle in her body. Resurecting the dead took away everything, even most of her life, she slept heavily, needing a long rest.*
*Moonstruck bleated, sticking very close to Kipcha's side, she bleated louder, more desperately, but dared not leave the side of someone she felt safe by. The louder and more she called for her dam, the more her voice began to sound like that of a horse, rather than a lamb, she neighed unevenly and somewhat confused, wondering if that strange new sound had come from her or someplace else. She could see, now her dam's heaving sides as the sun rose ever so slightly. She walked unsteadily towards the grey lump in the shorter grass, focusing on the protection of her dam, she continuted to make uneven, confusing neighs and whinnies, bleats and all sorts of other unsure sounds. She fell once, fell twice, and fell a few more times before she reached her dam's side. She worked her way up on her own, trying to gain a sense of balance and sure-footedness. Everytime she stepped, her scarlet red wings would flicker and flap, trying to keep herself up somehow.*
*In the still darkness of the jungle, the two starving wolves eyed the foal greedily. They saw no herd and they didn't see the lump of mare somehwat hidden in the grass, all they saw was a meal, slow and easy. The stalked the filly slowly, planning..Waiting.*

Diamond cocked open one eye, seeing that Moonstruck had left Kipcha's side. Diamond looked around the cave. Once she saw Moonstruck not in the cave and neither Sepsis she started to get worried of her herd mates. She slowly climbed up, unfolding her back legs and pushing herself up. Her ears pricked forewards and back searching the caves. She slowly dragged her tired body towards the caves entrance. She looked at Ghost and Kipcha. "Something isn't right.." Diamond began, looking at Ghost and Kipcha. She searched outside the caves far and wide, her gem glowing brightly and highly towards the way Moonstruck went. She snorted and pawed the floor seeing wolves closeing in on Moonstruck. She whinnied loudly and before she could tell Ghost that wolves where about to have their meal, she bolted towards the wolves, whinning and baring her teeth, her gem glowing threatingly. All of a sudden Diamond slowed to a trot remebering that she was pregnant and she could endagered her life and her foal's. But she would be felt guilty if her herd mates died. She shook her mane and took off after the wolves, tossing her head. Coming to Moonstruck's side, her gem glowed threatingly towards the wolves and it grew brighter and brighter. Diamond half reared, and a blast of power shot out of her gem hitting the wolves straight in their eyes, sending them to go completly blind right away. Diamond shook her head and pinned her ears back as they barked and barked tripping over their steps. She closed her eyes, and her gem shot out another light, but this time going all around her, Moonstruck and Sepsis. It was foarming a sheild.

Ghost nuzzled Kipcha in return. "I-I'm fine, really." he said, but the pain showed in his voice as the blood streamed from his neck and shoulders. He turned his head and watched the blind wolves turn tail and run, then trotted after Moonstruck, helping her towards her dam. They reached Sepsis and Ghost nudged the grey mare slightly on her neck and sides. "Sepsis....you need to wake up just for a moment.." He said quietly. He glanced back at Kipcha and Diamond.
Evander awoke and lifted his head, seeing all his herd gone. He got to his feet and trotted out of the cave. He could make out the mares and Ghost in the darkness and he cantered to them.

Kipcha followed after him. Coming to a stop she nuzzled Moonstruck and stood protectivly near her. Her concern for Ghost didn't let up and she watched him carefully "Ghost your not ok. That's a bad wound." She flicked her ears and pushed him with her muzzle.

Diamond opened her eyes back again seeing Ghost, Kipcha and Evander. Her shield blew off and the light went back into her gem. She nuzzled Moonstruck.

Ghost snorted. "Honestly, I'm fine." He winced slightly when she nudged his shoulder, though. He lowered his head and nudged Sepsis again, then lifted his head again. "I-I'll be right back.." He said quietly to Kipcha and he trotted towards the ocean. As he came towards the beach he saw the white stallion breathing faintly. He sighed and let him be, and continued trotting towards the ocean. He reached the water and walked into it knee-deep, then lay down in the salty water. He winced, clenching his teeth when the water filled his wounds, causing them to sting horribly. He let the ocean water flow over his shoulders and neck, cleansing the wounds. He eventually stood up and shook himself, the bleeding had ceased and what was left were many clean and pink cuts and gouges. He snorted and trotted out of the ocean, passing the white stallion once more and making his way back to his herd. He trotted back to Kipcha's side, dripping with seawater.
