Amy smiled. "Well that can be okay, then! As long as you're not opposed to eating something different. And if it's okay, can we forgo the salad at the beginning? Usually I put a salad with it, but I'm too drained to make that as well. We can have green beans if you want a vegetable."
Thistle watched the archway to the kitchen, waiting to see if Zephit would come in or not.
Phoenix purred loudly and nuzzled against Zephit's hand as it scratched his ears. He was purring his appreciation and joy. His family was back, the house smelled wonderful, and he was in Zephit's arms while he was getting his ears scratched. There was absolutely nothing better!

"Make whatever you are comfortable making, Amy." Zephit nodded, not caring whether she prepared a salad, really. It was important to him that she didn't drain herself before she had time to tell him about her trip.
"As long as we can talk over dinner, I don't mind what it is." He smiled, stepping into the kitchen and taking a seat at the table. Carefully he rested Phoenix on his lap, stroking from the cat's head to its tail.

Amy's smile grew when Zephit came into the kitchen. She set the spoon in the ladle on the stove and went over to Zephit at the table. She leaned over and hugged him. "It's good to see you again, Zephit! Did things go okay here at the house while we were gone? Did you have to go see Kits or Karrie for some help?"
She went back to the stove and continued to cook the pasta and sauce. The bread was in the oven already.
Phoenix stretched and then circled on Zephit's lap a few times before curling up and snoozing.
Thistle slowly went over to the table and looked up at Zephit. She hadn't really even looked at him before now, she had been so upset.
She flicked her tail and said softly, "Hi!"

"I-I've been doing alright. Th-though it was a little hard at first, and I was too embarrassed to ask for help." Zephit blushed lightly, but was still smiling because she asked about his time. It was nice for someone to be invested in his well being.
"So how was your trip? I'm interested to learn all about it."
"Hey there, Thistle." He turned to Thistle with a warm smile, and gave her head a gentle pat. "You seem to be feeling better."

Amy looked gently at Zephit. "I'm sorry it was hard for you at first, Zephit. And never be afraid to ask for help. It's a smart man who knows when to ask for help. Did you have some fun, though? It seems like you and Phoenix have bonded."
She smiled at the picture Zephit and Phoenix made.
Then, when Thistle said hello to Zephit, she smiled and bent down to pet her pony. "Good girl, Thistle. Good girl."
Thistle flicked her tail happily and then trilled happily when Zephit patted her head. She licked his hand lightly. "Good, you?"
Amy went back to watching everything on the stove. "And it was really good. The wilderness is so vast out there, and it was great to be around so much nature. I got to learn more about some different trees and plants."
She looked down at Thistle and smiled. "And Thistle actually started coming around when she met another unicorn at Aqua Springs earlier today. It's an animal from Bonnie's Adoption and Racing Center. I hope someone nearby claims her soon and comes to AS often. That pony deserves a good home. But she really perked Thistle up. Thistle has never seen an adult pegasus or unicorn. Well, not that she remembers anyway."

"Phoenix is a very well behaved cat. And I had a lot of fun, actually. I spent some time over at that Most Wanted place. I go there a lot now actually." Zephit blushed lightly, shy to explain the reason why he kept going back there so often. So instead he let himself get distracted by Thistle for a moment.
"I'm doing fine, Thistle." He mentioned, laughing lightly as she licked his hand. "It is good to hear you made a new friend today. Friends are very important."
"I actually ran into someone there, she is very..." Zephit turned back to Amy, his blush returning in light shades once again. "She makes me feel really warm when I'm close to her. And thinking about her makes me warm too."

"I'm very glad he behaved for you. I wasn't sure, but I was hoping he would since you were once a cat."
Amy's eyes widened slightly when Zephit mentioned he went over to MW and actually went over there quite often now. She was surprised to hear that. MW didn't really seem like the place Zephit would like. She thought he'd be uncomfortable there. Though, she was happy that he was becoming very comfortable in the town.
"Well, I'm glad you're liking yourself here in Geezerville. That's good. That means you'll stay here awhile."
She smiled at him and then nodded. "Oh really? That's good. What's her name?"
Thistle squeaked happily at Zephit and nodded. "Yes!"

[[ Sorry for disappearing. Having power issues here, so it could cut out on me again at any time. Also I think Zephit is pretty receptive to all sorts of mystical things now. xP ]]
"I'd like to stay here a while. Not here, but in the town." Zephit nodded, and then blushed lightly. "N-not that your place isn't nice, but it is yours and not mine."
"A-anyway. Her name is Liada. Have you ever met her before?" He asked, tilting his head a little. Amy seemed to know a lot of people, but he wasn't sure she was the type to hang out at bars. He wasn't even sure she knew what he did to make money. Amy probably wouldn't like that either.
"I keep going over there so I can see her. My day would feel a little incomplete without talking to her now, I think." Zephit looked down at the table and sighed. "I probably sound silly. I've only known her a few days."

{{It's okay, Zephit. I knew you were having power issues, so I just assumed that was going on. Hopefully it will all be fixed tomorrow! And there's mystical, and then there's a talking animal... wink lol!}}
"Zephit, I want you to feel comfortable here. It should feel homey to you and welcoming. Is there anything I can do to help with that? Are you having questions about anything or just not feeling comfortable about something in particular?"
Amy nearly dropped her spoon when she heard Zephit mention Liada's name. Luckily, she held onto it, though. When she heard him talk about Liada, she couldn't help but roll her eyes upward. Luckily her back was to him, so he couldn't see her. She just looked like she was cooking. She wasn't going to make her issues Zephit's, though. And Liada might seem really nice to Zephit. She just hoped she wouldn't lie or deceive him. He was too sweet and trusting for that.
"Well, that's good... Just take it slow, though. You're new to relationships and being human. Don't want to go too fast..."
She sighed in frustration when she looked down at the pasta and saw that it was becoming too big, too mushy. She had overcooked it. Dangit.
She quickly turned the burner off and went to get a colander.
Thistle extended her neck and sniffed lightly at Phoenix, which didn't wake him up at all.

"I just don't want you to think I'm a burden on you. B-besides, what if I want guests sometime? I don't want to bring my guest into your house, Amy. That would be rude." Zephit went back to petting Phoenix, feeling a little bad that Amy assumed it was something she could help. It wasn't her fault he felt uncomfortable really, he just wanted a place that felt more like his.
"Relationships are kind of confusing. It is hard to tell if I'm feeling the right thing or not, but I have to hope it'll work out. At least kissing makes sense, so far." Zephit blushed lightly and smiled, gestures that faded upon hearing Amy sigh.
"Everything alright, Amy? Do you want some help?"

Amy found the colander and stood back up. She put it over the sink and then went back to the pot. She sighed softly and then responded as she worked on getting the pasta drained.
"Zephit, I can totally understand if you want your own place. But while you're here, this place is your place, too. If you trust a person... then you should feel comfortable enough to bring them over. As long as they don't make a mess, I'm fine with it. Or if they do, just clean up after them and I'm fine."
She had an idea of who Zephit wanted to invite over, and she did not like the thought of it, but it was Zephit's house, too, right now. He should be able to invite over whoever he wants. But she would make sure to lock up her mother's spell book.
When Zephit mentioned kissing, implying that he had been kissing someone, probably Lia, Amy was quite surprised She shook her head slightly and continued to drain the pasta. Steam was rolling out of the pot.
"Yeah... Kissing can be good, but it can lead to a lot of trouble, too. Just be careful."
Her luck was God awful lately. She never remembered it being this bad before. But then again, she had never stayed in one place long enough to really consider herself as having bad luck. Things got bad, she just moved onto another town.
"Nah, I'm okay, Zephit. Thanks for the offer, though."
