Kari was walking down near the courtyard as she suddenly gasped in shock. "Black?!" She hurried to him and held onto him, "What happened?"

Paradox looked around. He thought he had heard lord black calling for help. Paradox would come, but not until this girl was dealt with. "Your with Katherine, then? Forgive me, these are difficult times." Paradox said, before giving an informal salute to the spunky Aisis. "They call me Paradox, and the feeling is mutual. i have never seen you before, either. If you excuse me, mi'lady, I have work to do." Paradox moved around her, quickly, and graceful for such a huge man. When he turned the corner, out of Aisis's sight he started running. Something was happening. He could feel the death on his tongue.

All in all, he couldn't answer her, but his muscles had seized up. The poison had seemed to hit him quicker then he thought. He thought it would only happen after he found it, but now he was only cursing himself in his mind.

Kari placed his arm around her shoulder as she tried to walk him along with her, "Black, you know I have no clue where anything is in the castle, right?"

Katherine made it will Demitri. She layed him down, he wasn't answearing probally from the posion. She looked around the room franticly where was Black. She paced the room then not knowing what to do in the smallest bit.

She turned a bit pale when she saw how quickly the giant moved around her. "Paradox, eh?" She said as he vanished from sight. Aisis' color returned to her face and she continued her walk thinking, "Strange people Katherine has in her castle..."

Paradox runs into the poisoned courtyard, seeing the dead bodies. He counts them up, and sees that Black isn't there. that meant he was still alive at least. Paradox runs through the halls shouting, "Lord Black! Are you okay! Where are you?"

Kari heard a loud voice shouting out for Black, they were out of the courtyard by now, but just barely inside the castle as well. She finally saw a figure, and waved saying, "Over here, sir!" She hadn't realize his size for he was far.

Demitri stirred a little. He couldn't talk and his legs her as well as his stomache. He wondered what was going on and why he wasn't in the library. He moved his arm to cover his fae but ccouldn't.

She caught a guard that was actually still walking around. She asked him about Lord Black and he told her about the compotion in the court yard. She noded and waved him away she didn't however know that Black had been hit. She looked back to Demitri. "Don't worry Black will find a cure for you, but Hector can you at least tell me about Hector?"

Paradox heard the faint yelling of a lady. Paradox saw the lady holding Black. So he was hit. hopefully there is still time. paradox raced towards them, coming closer, and growing all the time. As he got closer, it was easier to compare him with his surrounding, and he was huge, seven feet tall. When he was close enough to speak, he stopped abruptly. He wasn't breathing hard at all. "Is Lord Black, okay?" Paradox asked the stupid question. He looks dead. How could he be okay?

He looked at her. "Hector's fine." he swhispered. He couldn't raise his voice and closed his eyes to sleep.

Kari looked up at the tall hooded man and just stared as she shook her head. She didn't mean to, it was just her first time seeing someone so tall. Kari turned to Black and said, "He's not doing good, maybe you should take him to get better help, I'm not good."

Katherine told him again he would be okay, she left the room heading to find out what happend in the court yard when she found Kari, Black and Paradox. She stopped infront of them her face paled slightly. The first thought in her mind was that they were lost all of them for this she was stunned still.

Paradox didn't smile, couldn't smile. Lord Black was the only person who could make the cure, and without him. . . "We need to get him to the medical wing. Right now." Paradox picked Black up, as easily as a sack of flour. Then he was Katherine. He walked past her quickly carrying lord Black. "The castle has been attacked. Nobody is safe anymore." Paradox said as he passed her, heading to the medical wing.
