"Kill her?" Kyoko asked, as if the thought was absurd. "Oh heavens no. She's far too powerful to kill. Who would be stupid enough to waste such powers. I just want her powers thats all."
A smirk then crossed her lips. "And if you don't want that to happen then you would just have to leave her before you get anymore attached. Just tell her she's a worthless whore and then the curse will stay in place." She then laughed a bit, before looking towards Ciara who was stirring in her sleep. "Make your choice." She added, before dissapearing.

Van was pissed and screaming into the air, flailing his arms and pacing, "YOU BETTER PRAY I NEVER FIND YOU, WE'LL SEE WHOSE LAUGHING WHEN I SHOVE MY DAGGER DOWN YOUR THROAT." He had been thrown in a corner, a pawn in her game. He wouldn't leave Ciara but wouldn't hand her over without a fight.

"What the hell...?" Ciara muttered lazily, opening her eyes for a moment immediately noticing Van storming about. "What's wrong, love?" She then asked in mutter, confused by his actions. Was he sleep walking? Why else would he be yelling at himself.

"What?" Ciara said confused, waking up a bit more. "My m-mothe-...? What the-!? I should just stop sleeping." Ciara finally concluded.
She then frowned noticing Van's obvious anger. "What's wrong? What did she say?"

Van sat on the bed finally calming down a bit. "She wants some sort of power that you have, but something your father did is making it impossible for her to do."
Van let out a sigh. "I don't think that she's your mother." He had said what he had thought and what he believed. "Mothers don't point daggers at their children."

"Yea well, my father didn't do father like things either..." Ciara mumbled, sitting up herself. "Besides, I don't have any powers. I've never been able to use magic."

"It's part of the curse suppressing your ability, but I think it's only a curse to her." Van had had a feeling that she wouldn't listen to him when he made the suggestion.

"I don't know but she likes to come when your asleep and." Van paused for a moment trying to think of the right words to say. "She has been watching us since we got here and put the mirror in my room to get us here in her world."

"It was her?" Ciara asked, confused. That didn't make sense. Her father was supposed to be the villain, not the other way around. "But..." She stopped sighing. "So, she wants me to get rid of this curse... is that what you're saying?"

"She just wants the curse gone and has been trying to use me." Van looked at her for a second or two. "I want you to be happy, but I don't want to make her happy. If I make you happy, she'll be happy, but if I don't she'll make some guy who doesn't really love you convince you that he does and still get what she wants while making you unhappy." He was starting to confuse himself.

Ciara didn't answer at first, trying to digest all the words he was saying. Never before had someone told her that they wanted her to be happy actually meaning what they said. And what had he mentioned about love? Did that mean? She knew it couldn't. There was no way someone could care for her to that extent; her farther had always told her such things.
"Are you saying that the curse will be broken if I'm happy?" Ciara asked him, wanting him to go into more detail.

"I don't even know, all I know is that if it does get broken, I will fight your mother till I die before I let her harm a single hair on your head." Van looked down at the ground concentrating and trying to understand what was going on.

"No, don't say that!" Ciara said quickly as if it was an automatic reflex. She then scrambled across the bed to where he was sitting, looking at him with both a sad and ironically happy expression. She was overjoyed by the fact that he cared, but still the fact that he was speaking of death saddened her. "How can you say that? You barely know me..."
