kaji noticed the rose dropped onto the floor. picking it up read the note and his eyes widening, realizing what was wrong with kyu, he set the rose aside and hugged the boy.

Some funny comments and whistles could be herd from the guys in the diner. But the thing that brought Kyu back was the feeling of a hug. "H... When did I get here?" he asked, mostly to himself. Then he saw the rose and felt his throat clenching.

"well..." kaji sat on the ground "you look as if youre thinking of going back to whatever that bastards name is because he threatened to 'add me to his collection'. dont... i would never want you to do that because it wouldnt make either one of us very happy... no would it? and i doubt that you want to be touch by that ******** again am i right? if you go back to him you become his lover, his pet, his ******** toy, with which he'll do whatever he wants with."

Plus in a month or two you'll forget I even exist." He clenched his fist around the rose making more wounds in his hand.

Can't you see that I'm trying to figure a way to protect you! Would I do that if I wanted you to be away from me. If I wasn't...." he stopped and let go of the other boy.

"maybe i dont want your ******** protection! maybe all i wanted... is to be with you!" kaji lowered his gaze to the ground as he raised his hand to his face where he had been slapped.

Kyu slid on the grounds again. His willpower braking down as tears started falling from his eyes. "And can't you understand that i don't want to be the reason for any harm to come to you..." he said in a low whisper.
