Wei tried his hardest to restrain his lips from curling into a sly grin, and he did for the most part, his expression bearing merely a charming smile. "Hm, well...since you should probably be getting home, would you mind giving me the address to your cousin's house? I guess I'll just stop by tommorrow and see if I can't get Haro situated elsewhere. I'm glad someone found him, or at least I'm assuming they're the same person," he explained even though he was determined to visit the home that very night...

Eyes resisted opening for just a few moments, hands clenching around whatever- Amber eyes, which looked dull in the lack of light, snapped open as senses tingled with the smell of cats. He couldn't see very well in the dark...but he could tell Shin was- had he fallen asleep? Relaxing slightly, fingers loosening their grip considerably, the boy stifled a yawn before settling his head against the source of the nice, warm smell.

[[Feel free not to respond to the Haro section, I just ...uh...wanted to write. XD]]

"Oh... sure..." He took a sheet of paper from a pad that rested on a small desk in the room, taking a pen at the same time, and wrote the adrees in need, cursive writing. He was actually quite proud of his penmanship, not that he would actually say that. "Here." He handed it to Wei and began to make his way out the door. "Are you comming with me or do you have somewhere to go?" he asked curiously. Of course, being Ryan he suspected nothing of the other, but liked having company at night.

He bit back a groan, one hand clenching at his side. Forcing out a smile, willing his hand to relax, the young man leaned forward, ruffling the small boy's head of dark hair. "Eh, why not? It's late, assumingly, and you never know what could happen after midnight," he murmured, green eyes narrowing on the exit. Although he was ancious to get Haro before the sun rose, Wei really didn't want the boy to be hurt in any way. Even though the city was realtively nice, nothing good happened after twelve...

"What's your name, kid, anyway?" He asked, glancing back at the boy's aunt before seeking out light brown eyes.

He smiled. "I'm Ryan. What's your name?" He made his way out of the hospital, knwoing that the other was following. There was something unnerving about the other that made him want to keep Wei in his sight so that he couldn't do anything... Or, if he did, at least he would be able to see it.

After scanning the address the boy had written down, the young man folded up the crisp sheets of paper, sliding it into his back pocket with a fanged smirk. Following behind the boy for a few paces, the young man soon enough stood beside the boy, keeping a careful eye upon the alleys and side streets of the city.

Upon hearing the answer, the dark haired man smiled lightly, "Eh, nice name, puppy-kun. My name's Wei, if you must know," he murmured in a soft tone as if not wanting to disturb the sinister lull of the dark city.

[[Wei is pronounced like.."way" if you wanted to now. x3; Hn, ...Haro is uh.. "Har [like car with an h] oh" xD]]

((Yeah, I know. ^ ^;; I used to study Japanese and I actually went to Japan on an exchange trip once... =o So, "wakarimasu."))
"Wei. What a weird name. Ah well. My family's part Japanese, so we have names like Shin." It took a surprisingly small amount of time to reach Ryan house. "Well, I'm home. See ya later? Or not, really. In fact, I doubt I'll ever see you again. Bye, then." He gave the other one last smile before he went into his house.

[[That's so cool! *^*;; I only know Japanese pronunciation because the pronunciation of vowels are the same as in Spanish. n_n; Haro's last name [cancion] actually means 'song' in Spanish. I usually splice words, but I just kept it the same. X3 I have no clue what wakarimasu means. XD]]

Wei's eyes narrowed slightly at Ryan's comment as he bit at his lip ring with practiced care. Giving the boy a whisper of a smile as well as a weak wave, the older male slid his hand into his back pocket, taking out the slip of paper. Glancing at it once more, the older man smirked heavily, scanning the address a few times to memorize it. The year of the dog had certainly been kind to him...

[[Okey. xD]]

It didn't take him too long to trek back through the city, not more than an hour he assumed. Now to find the house... Glancing once more at the neatly scripted wording, squinting to make sure he was seeing it correctly in such poor lighting, Wei glanced at a nearby street sign. After another half an hour or so, and a few wrong turns, Wei was finally staring at the small, but modest, house he had been searching for. Without hesitating, knowing the door's would most likely be locked anyway, the young man assumed his serpent form. Invisible against the grass, the venemous snake slithered towards the back of the house, looking for a door of some kind other than the front. His species of snake were rather small compared to many of his class, so he just needed to- beady eyes spotted a back door, in which he quickly attempted to slide under. Forked tongue flickering out rapidly as he slid against the smooth surface of indoor tile, the snake soon assumed his human form.

Green eyes darting about, Wei kept his lips parted in order to allow his breathing to be as still as possible. The house wasn't large, so he'd asumed he'd find the boy quickly.

A subtle smell of peachy grossness permeated the...kitchen, he assumed that's where he was...Haro. Eyes narrowed as he quietly drifted to another room, a much heavier scent of cat coming from another room. Peeking his head into the den of sorts, Wei had to bite his tongue as he focused on the source of the scent. Hissing sharply under his breath, the young man took a causious step forward...

Shin's nose twitched slightly and he felt Haro stir slightly. He suddenly sneezed, waking up abuptly. "S-sorry..." He brushed away the hair that had settled on his nose and caused the sneeze, rubbing at the water that had formed at the corners of his eyes. "Mmm... when did you wake up?" he asked, yawning. There was some new smell, but he ignored it for the time. His tail twitched uncomfortable and his cat ears were flicked back to catch any sound, just in case there was something...

Wings rustled uncomfortabley against Haro's back, a soft gasp uttered as Shin woke up, startling the boy badly. Although he could not see well at all in the dark, he was close enough to Shin to see the position of his ears. He mistook the pose of caution for agitation or something along the lines and hastily let go of the older teen. "No...I...I woke up on my own," he murmured, eyes fixated on his hands, hair falling forward to frame his burning face.

------------

Wei cursed harshly under his breath, assuming his snake form quickly before slithering behind a nearby piece of furniture. He could hear them talking in the other room... His string of curses continued. Although his bite in his human form was nearly as potent as this form, he couldn't bite this Shin person without eventually killing him... Why did this have to be so hard?

[[Eeep, I must be off~!]]

He smiled. "Well, at least I didn't wake you up." He ears continued to be pricked back, trying to catch any sounds. He frowned slightly. That smell... but it might be nothing. Still...

[[Meh, I stayed online for a few minutes, but I have to go to take a quick shower, I'll be back in a half an hour or so. xD]]

Haro looked up, eyes flickering towards the exit. He smelled something, faint...very faint and almost...almost indescribeable, but... it was different. It was probably nothing, but he couldn't help leaning back against the other with wide eyes, his breathing slightly accelerated. It was nothing... It was nothing. "N-ne, do you smell that?" He whispered, fingers trembling against his legs. It...he could smell it more distinctly now and for a moment he almost thought it was a familiar scent.

----------------

What should he do? Just leave, try again tomorrow? No, no, he said harshly in his mind. He would just wait for them to fall asleep again... He could hear them, they had moved much..and they weren't moving at the moment... Uncoiling, the black snake darted out into the room where the two teens sat, doubting themselves...

Blindingly sliding under the couch, a black tongue flicked against the new surroundings... He just had to wait now...

He nodded. "I-I do..." THe scent intensified and he frowned. "Whatever it is, it's in here. So it can probably hear us, if it understands what we're saying." Shin didn't like this uneasy feeling. He'd rather just see what was in the room with them. "If you can understand what I'm saying, then come out," he said loudly, his senses questing out to try and find the source of the smell.

Had this not been such a delicate situation (and if he had been in another form, of course) Wei might've laughed at the ridiculous demand, as if he'd answer. He had to give the kid credit though, he didn't think he'd smell him so soon. Curling up into a tight ball, the coal colored snake closed his dark eyes...this was going to take a while.

--------------------------

Haro shivered, wings closing around his shoulders protectively. Leaning forward, eyes closed briefly in an attempt to heighten his sense of smell, the boy slipped off of the couch, padding softly against the carpeted floor. He couldn't quite figure out the earthy smell, just...it... Although the sense of smell is the strongest when related to memories, Haro's mind fuzzed over when he thought about hi past, as if his brain just didn't want him to go back there...thus most scents blurred together and he couldn't pick out one from another....he just knew he had smelled it before...Maybe not the exact odor, but something similar.

"I-I know I've smelled something like it before, I just...I don't know where," he murmured, glacning around him, hoping for the seemingly invisible invader to pop out. "Come and get me, come and get me..." He said with a frown, hoping his bait tactics would work, but unfortunately Wei stayed hidden under the couch.

------------------------------

A dark tongue flicked out from between the dark snake's mouth. Well, Haro was certainly as dumb as ever...
