Not here Corbin.

*She spoke quietly, nodding and recognising Ice as he came to them*

Your orders are fulfilled, but I should bloody hope you dont intend to start here with him...

No, I merely wished the boy to see the place he will come to know so well before we began the basic training.

If anything happens to him...

*She grit her teeth as Ice walked past her, and smirked lavisciously at Corbin*

Welcome to my club. Come. See what we have in store.

*He moved towards the pit, the floor stained with the blood of cainite and Garou both. Roan's eyes flickered as she looked down, and her head turned to the wall behind the pit - a wall wher eher own red haired visage stared back at her, holding up the champions belt she had won here*

Scowling at Roan's warning, subtle as it was, he followed Ice to the pits edge and glared down into the vitae drenched depths of it. Still with his arms folded, he gave a stern, warning hiss mixed with a snarl at one rabble barely above kine in his opinion, that got too close. He then looked back down into the pit, making sure to keep his tail circling around him as a barrier to keep the 6th, and 7th generation scum away from him.

"So, your going to pit me against Lycans...This is starting to sound more fun."

In due time. You havent earnt it yet. This way.

*Leading them towards a back chamber, Ice opened a door, which led to somewhere they were familiar with - the Ice Chasm the Anon twins called home, though the room itself was one the DeSeer's had not seen before.
Stepping through, Ice's form shifted back to his preferred faun state and he turned his eyes on his visitors*

Such apearances I must maintain at that club! Now we can have some REAL fun. Let me show you to your quaters...
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2007 9:30 am

*Opening the portal form his own home back to the club, Ice's skin changed to dark as he stepped through, taking on the frm of his club owner self, still leading Corbin behind him.
At his arrival, a large stir passed through te staff and patrons present, especially at the sight of an unknown male behind him - corbin.
Ice coudl hear teh hushed whispers as she headed to his seat - the throne like chair near teh arena itself, and he abjectly refused to answer anyone until he was ettled, snapping his fingers for wine before anything else happened*

Your wine sir...

*Served a fine red merlot, Ice chained Corbin off to the heavy metal ring set into the arm of his chair, then raised an eyebrow at the gathered crowds*

You seem curious.
Unless Im very much mistaken, Deciet... I know that young man.
And well you should. I present to you, a new challenger. My champion. Bets will be on at 100 to 1 to start Im sure, but you will soon see... he is better than anything you put forward.
Sounds like a challenge...

*But Ice's eyes held those of the man who had first spoken, smirking faintly*

Following Ice silently into the room, though by choice, he scanned the room as best he could, without showing too much of his own analytical nature, let alone abilities. He was supressed to his minimum in any case. As he was chained to the arm of Ice's throne, the diablerist lowered himself to his knees, then sat back on his feet, hands one over the other in his lap, as he looked between the chattering members of the crowed, though more interested in the ones that spoke up, so readily to Ice.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2007 9:49 am

*Eyes were turend on Corbin, especially as he so calmly and submissively took his place at Ice's side. Known only as Deceit here, Ice grinned at teh stir this was causing*

This is your champion? Looks more like a trained pet...
Surely you dont mean to keep him up here?
He should be in the pit, with the rest...
He doesnt look that strong...
Idiots. You spend too much time here, and not out doing your duty.
How dare you!
I dare because I know who that is...

*Ice's laughter stopped the chatter briefly*

Ladies and gentlemen, please. Yes, my champion will remain by my side. Just as his Sire did as champion during her time. I present to you.. Corbin DeSeer.

*Uproar insued*

One of THEM?!
Oh please! Overated if I ever heard it...
He's a BOY...
I'm not betting against that!
Didn't you SEE what happened to Durem?!
Proof they're failable my dear! Useless waste of space, and high maintenance too...
You must be joking Deceit!
He's the one they call the fiend isnt he?!
How can you intend to keep a monster like that up here?

*... and so on. Ice merely grinned at teh controversy and leaned down to corbin*

Lap it up boy. You're already famous and by tonight... a full house to see you fight. Exhilertaing, isnt it?

Corbin couldn't help it. The moment he was introduced faces changed, for better or worse. generally for the worse, as could be expected. This tickled him. He had to live up to this, he had to make his fights entertaining, for his own benefit.

Turning his line of sight to Ice, he nodded.

"Sir. I'm simply here to participate."
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2007 10:14 am

*Ice smirked down at Corbin. Despite the kids outward calm, Ice figured Crobin was loving this on the inside - whoich woudl be good considering the torment he had just risen from.
Nodding quietly, Ice went about the duties of entertaining his guests as he evening wore on until the building started filling up properly.
Corbin would probably see some familiar faces, come to gawk at the fact a DeSeer would be in the arena, or at the fact one was obeying someone other than Roan.
Money blatantly passed hands as he music boomed, the night hotting up, until at last an announcer started reading the listing for the evening*

Ladies and Gentlemen, please settle your bets for the first round of the new championship here at the Fang! Reigning champion Malkis looking to hold onto his title in a ten tier tornament, the champoin representing Sir Reinholdt in the arena. Tonight we also introduce a new challenger, a little teaser for your betting delight, honoured member of the DeSeer family, Corbin Blazeheart DeSeer, representing Deceit himself. Betting closes in an hour.

*The buzz of chatter renewed after the announcment, a lot of gazes being directed to Corbin*

This first round is a no holds barred slaughter fest to eliminate the competition. You will be thrown into the arena among 9 otehr first level competitors. Last man standing proceeds to round two, where the real fighting begins. You will have your restrictions lifted to allow you to use your clan skills - Celerity, Potence, and Auspex. Dont disappoint me, fiend.

Corbin's eye briefly widened, before he collected his expression. Reinholdt. He was here. With a competator of his own, no less.

"The plot thickens.."

Smirking some, though only for a moment, and taking care to not make it too noticable, Corbin stands, remaining mindful of his leash tied to the chair, and looks down to Ice.

"I'll do what I can, Sir."
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2007 10:36 am

*Over the next hour, bets were finalised, the competitors allowed to feed,or eat, depending, then the first match got underway.
Consisting of five cainite's, mostly caitiff, and five young blood Garou, the face off was brutal.
Unleashing Corbin and leading him to the ringside, Ice watched dispassionately as the competitors below tore each oterh apart. One of the were's was old enough and experianced enough to know how to take his half form, and to say he tore a bloody swathe through the otehrs form his 8ft of height was an understatement...
Turning his head aside as a spray of blood came over the arena top, Ice barely grunted as the Garou was decalred the winner of this heat, restrained, and dragged back to his cell.
Two more of these heats woudl ensue before Corbin's turn, and when it came, Ice simply unclippe dthe leash, grinning as several peopel flinched back from the young DeSeer, then nodded below, where four otehr ainites and five Garou were being asembled*

Unlike them... you are here by will. Fight well Corbin.

*Around the arena top, more and more people crowded in to watch this heat, rumours of Corbin's participation already blown out of proportion, but Ice had ever faith that Corbin woudl more than surpass what was being whispered all aroun dthem*

With a roll of his neck and a deep breath, as he was 'let loose', Corbin looked down into the pit with an expression, somewhat akin to boredom, though he hid it too well. It simply could be percieved as, blank. Turning his head to ice, with this stone poker face he nodded, before taking a right footed half step forward.

This caused him to drop straight down into the pit, landing with just the slightest bend in his knees, uncaring of the bloody splash, and the dust that rose at his entrance. Steel capped heels. This prompted an inward grin from the diablerist as they faintly rang out. He would make good use of them.

Upon Corbin's entrance one of the Caitiff flinched, taking a step back. this immediately caught Corbin's attention, as did the familiar features of the older Cainite. He knew this maggot. And the Caitiff, most obviously, knew him. Fear blatently gripped teh singular Caitiff, as the bells rang, and the crowed hushed, awaiting the first of moves, from any one of the gladiators.

Seconds later, a rather hasty blonde male was behind Corbin. Celerity. Long, human-esque nails were raised, and with a hand meant to act as a downward stabbing blade, the blonde struck with what may have been concidered speed, aiming to cut through Corbin's back. Perhaps to grasp, or even sever the spinal column. This however was the frail hopes of a cainite FAR too over-zelous in his pride.

Blood hit the wall and the floor kicking up the dust, followed soon after by an agonized cry. The blonde Caitiff was raised from his footing into the air slowly, his head rolling from side to side as he growled, his hands tightly gripping the obsidian, scratching at the golden adornments.

Corbin stood with his hands folded behind his back, that blank expression still on his face, as his tail lifted the hasty foe several meters above the lip of the pit, till his body was level with those standing about the edge. With his tail penetrating clear through the blonde's sternum and out through his back, Corbin let the scene simmer for a moment, before forcing more of the tail through, threading it through the sternum so as to coild the extremity about the torso, and constrict.

A single circlet lit up, and opened in Corbin's eye, and he too a step forward with his left foot that by most, let-alone those in the pit with him couldn't even percieve. There was suddenly a rain of blood showering over Corbin, and the closest of the foes, as well as some of the onlookers above, as two halves of the blonde fell to the pit floor, limp and lifeless.

Letting his forked tongue roll out to lick his lips, the other competators took this as a second bell, and lunged at one-another. None however, throwing themselves at Corbin.

Uproar among the spectators ofcourse ensued, and as Cainites and weres brawled, Corbin turned to the pair closest to him. The Caitiff had delivered a king hit that knocked his wolven foe back, though even as the hit had connected, he was in the process of transforming.

Narrowing his eye, Corbin strolled forward. Claws slashed wildly at the caitiff, forcing him back, and a maw lunged at the Cainite, though the Lycan failed, nearly losing his footing as he passed through thin air.

Turning, the Garou snarled at his kill being stolen from him. Corbin had coiled his tail about the long haired Catiff's ankles and floored him, though by now had him raised upside down at his side.

Cocking a brow at the enraged Garou, Corbin tilted his head to avoid a clawed swing from a second Garou behind him, before jumping back several steps to avoid the jaws of the first. With a flailing mixed blood dangling from his tail, Corbin narrowed his eye at the pair of transformed Garou. They in-turn, looked at eachother, nodded, and then rushed forward. Weaving around eachother, the two wolves came at Corbin from either side, clawed hands raised in readiness for king hits.

One met the face of his first intended kill, as the diablerist made use of his tail caught Caitiff as a mace, whilst lifting his right foot and planting it firmly against the chest of the second wolf. Digging his toes in to the extent of crushing the collar bone, Corbin used the wolves chest as a step and lifted himself into the air with a three hundred and sixty degree backward spin, which resulted in his left heel pulverizing the Garou's skull.

As Corbin's feet hit the floor, once mor with a splash in the pooled blood both Garou had already been sent across the pit on either side of him into the walls.

Moving his tail so as to closely examine the unconcious Caitiff in his hold. Bloodied and disfigured from the head-on-head impact, he cocked a brow, and raised his right hand. Useing a hand for the first time in this heat, he took hold of the upside down mix-blood's chin, before giving a quick, sharp, short jerk downward, ripping bone and flesh from the head. He then hulred the mangled caitiff into a wall, turning what was left of his head into pulp.

Rolling his shoulders as he noticed the Garou he had kicked in the head suffered a rather unconventional shaping of his skull, after the meteor like heel kick, he turned to the other, just now staggering to its feet in a daze.

With the same inpercievable speed as with the first step he took, Corbin moved to stand under the Garou, the fatality already delivered. he had thrust the lower jagged, broken jaw of the caitiff into the Garou's throat. With a saw like motion, with a single swipe, he then sliced the head clean from the shoulders, and idely dropped the jaw.

By this time, one Garou and one Cainite had been slain by the other fighters, and a second Garou scrambled back against the pit wall, pressing his lacerated back against the wall, as a Cainite made the slow approach, preparing to deliver the final blow.

With an ear piercing, whip like crack Corbin's tail shot across the pit along the floor and wrapped tightly about the Garou's neck, pulling it away with such force that the innertia snapped its neck, and hurled it up, and out of the pit into the crowed.

Corbin now faced one extremely irate Cainite, and had plans for the mixed pair still brawling off to the side. As the Caitiff rushed Corbin, he felt something tingle in the back of his mind. This gitt was trying to use Chimerstry against him. Corbin's poker face cracked, as he showed a brief smirk, accompanied by a snicker. A new circlet appeared in his eye, and as the Caitiff casually jumped over to Corbin's right, he deduced this.

Judging from how the foe took his time, having the nerve to casually WALK up to Corbin, he assumed that the Caitiff had attempted to form an illusion suggesting he had gone in a different direction. Sad, really.

Staring straight ahead of himself, Corbin let the Caitiff come within half a stride of him, and then raise his index claw to Corbin's throat, as if he intended to cut it.

At the last possible moment, Corbin's hand was suddenly holding the Caitiff's wrist with such a vice grip, that bone shattered and cut through the skin and muscle. Roaring in pain, the Caitiff then went glass eyed in shock, as with a single sharp pull, his arm was freed from his shoulder.

Turning only now to the fool, Corbin proceeded to beat him with his own arm, slapping him with his own bloody shoulder joint before dropping the limb, and wrapping his left hand fingers around his face.

both stood silently, save for the shocked, barely concious gasps of the Caitiff for a few seconds, before blood, bone and brain matter squelched between Corbin's fingers.

He then turned his attention to the pair of Cainites, still duking it out like irked preteen brothers in the corner. Sighing, Corbin vanished, appearing in the very same moment between the pair. Both reacted with the same surprise, before they glanced around. Reality began to set in for one, as the other, the one that had recognised Corbin from the start, fell backwards on his rump whimpering.

Turning his head to the one, only just now realizing that he had been pitted against impossible odds, Corbin leered with his newly re-discovered, malicious predatory eye, glowing vibrantly with emerald.

In mere moments, it was over. Corbin stood in the middle of the pit, mangled bodies surrounding him, as he held the whimpering final cainite up by the neck, watching expressionlessly as it stared down at him in horror.

Taking a moment to look around the rim of the pit, at all of the spectators..Corbin then looked to Ice, and his cheeks were slowly split, the flesh ripping away freely. A long forked tongue rolled out, licking from the base of the neck, to the brow of his held prey, before Corbin opened his maw. It was a sight to behold, for most surely. A Cainite opening his mouth to the extent the back of his head pressed against his shoulder blades. Shark like enamel then shut like a beefed up beer trap around the head of the Caitiff, and Corbin took a bite devouring from the top of the head, down to the lips of the mixed-blood.

Corbin then dropped the corpse, as he let the crimson steam pour out from his mouth, swallowing the head whole, expanding his throat to allow the hefty mouthfull, like a snake would blow up its body.

*Shocked cries rose around the ring, first at the spray of blood that covered half the audience, then more at the disgusting scene of death that continued below them. It was over quickly, too quickly compared to the other rounds, but the shocked silence it left in its wake, as Corbin consumed the caitiff, lasted for several seconds.*

He... ATE him...
Did you see...
Not possible...
A DeSeer...

*Mutters and murmurs rose to a crescendo until Ice stepped forward*

Corbin. Return to me if you please. We have our winner for this heat. I trust you will all bet well tomorrow...

*Grinning darkly, Ice looked down at Corbin with approval, as the scandal built around him*

Not bothering to look about, to enjoy the controversial uproar he had begun, Corbin walked to the wall of the pit and with ease, dug his boot toe in to get a step, and launched himself up and out of the pit to land gracfully at its edge. The diablerist, sufficiently drentched in blood then made his way over to Ice's throne, and silently, took to his knelt pose once more.
PostPosted: Tue May 01, 2007 3:30 am

*Smirking faintly, Ice followed Corbin back, releashing the diablerist as he resumed his seat, ignoring the next bout as it started*

Just what are you playing at Deceit?

*Languigly, Ice stretched in his seat and turned his eyes to the furious man advancing through teh crowd. Reinholdt was one of the few humans who made it in the door... AND back out again.*

Good evening sir. I am playing at winning this little tournament you set up. I do believe you invited me to supply my own champion?

Truly you fit your name! What are you doing letting a monster like that loose?! Not to mention the last time I checked this beast of yours was masquerading as a general and supposedly taking over certain duties...

Aye, and if you recall, you were told at that conferance that the general here was still going through training. Now Raoul is back from the continent... he is simply in the next phase.

So you mean to tell me he's not even being held as a criminal?!

Of course not. You have long known the DeSeer's true nature Reinholdt, but you will never be able to prove it in public. Besides... Corbin will make a fitting end opponent for your Garou. DeSeer and Longstalker, at each others throats once more. Especially as Malkis is a direct descendant of Roan's father...

*Ice's grin turned to Corbin as he winked. Truly... this had all been planned. Perfectly.*

You had better keep him under control Deceit...

*With that, Reinholdt moved off. The last six bouts continued, but none were as talked aboput, or as well observed as Corbin's had been and to all intents and purposes, ICe lapped up the attention Corbin had created*

Corbin sat there silently as the human came forward, and began questioning Ice's morals and intentions. Despite the fact it all concerned him directly. It was only as the name of Reinholdt's Garou, that finally sparked a flicker in his eye, and his thoughts shifted. Instantly he recalled the stories, and he struggled to keep a grin hidden, as he savoured the idea.
