Despite me being a Tekken fan since '97, I've never really liked it's pacing when compared to other fighters like Dead or alive, or Virtua Fighter.
So you're not a Devil May Cry fan, then? XD

Devil May Cry is fine. ^^ That's an action game, and I have the choice of when to advance and deal with my enemies.

Inb4 the only reason you liked Arcana Heart was because of the cast. XD

Also, I *really* don't like games with excessively long combos. XD;
Like: 214 632 41236 Down-Right Up-Right 63214 High-Punch Low-Kick 98741 Backdash Middle-Punch. Or whatever it is they're doing these days. *Shrugs* I stick with Touhou's fighters, mostly.

SWR and Hisoutensoku had a rather simple system, true.
Oh, and even though I doubt you care, those numbers people put into commands on message boards represent directions. Compare the numbers used to the num-pad on your keyboard, then translate that into a directional input. It's all pretty simple, really.

*Blinks* I know. My point is that long command inputs take too much time to do, so you're not PLAYING the game so much as putting in long strings of codes just to do one thing.

I'm gonna make your head hurt.
Ragna Combo with 100% Heat Gauge
(near corner) 5B, 6A (JC), [j.C, j.D (JC), delay j.D, land] x2, [5D (DC)] x2, 214214D 2D, 5B, 5D (1 hit), 214B -> delay 214D, dash 5D (1 hit), 214B -> delay 214D, dash 5D (DC), 5D, 214214D
And for the record, no. I can not do this one myself. I am however able to tell what moves are used purely based on the command inputs. Upon first glace, it looks like a goddamn math problem, XD

Eeyup. o wo Point is, it's HARD to remember especially long combos unless you practice for a mind-numbing amount of time... and the slightest wrong movement can throw all of it off. XD; Bleh.

I could not do advanced combos to save my life. Simple fact is, in the heat of the moment, I rarely have the ability to do the combo in question successfully. XD
Combo Grapples in DOA aren't too bad though, those are mostly just a single timed input. Except for Ryu's Izuna Drop, of course. XD

I feel like I'm hearing someone complain directly about Persona 4 Arena. Yyyyuuuup.
<_< *Looks at the 'Challenge' Mode which is just you trying to do the character's most difficult combos*
>_> Yuuuuuppp.
Thank god fighting games also give you simple, 4 buttons combos that do everything you need them to though, or else what Rednal's saying would be actual fact and not just a stereotype. v.v

They have that same mode in Blazblue. I guess ArkSys kept more consistent than I thought.

Depends on the game. o wo
Like, in Arcana Heart 3, there's
Wallstep >236A>j.214B>236B>236C>214C>236A>j.214B>214B>236C> 214A
