When it looked like the monster was dead...ish...Zhori flitted back down to the ground just behind a thin veil of bushes and resumed her more humanoid form. The cold air hit her bare skin and she shivered. Whew. Even with her elevated body temperature, it was just a bit cold.
"Hey, I don't mean to be a bother, since you're all still hacking up that thing but does anyone have a coat I could borrow?"

"A-Ayu!" Ruby screamed, already forgetting about Misaki and the others. She was easily distracted, after all. She rushed over to Ayu and automatically panicked like any friend would. But, Ruby suspected Ayu might be right about her overreacting sometimes.
"Ayu! Answer me! Please don't die!" Ruby yelped, stretching the word "die". Ooooh! Darn her useless skills! Why can't she have a useful ability like healing? She might actually be able to do something right for once!
"Ayu! Don't die! I'll save you!" Ruby screamed, stretching every single word like a promise that she was determined to keep. She was already attempting to drag her to the Infirmary, even though her body and bones screamed "no".

 Akito Kurosuke Akito grinned at the woman hiding behind the bushes. He pulled off his jacket, ignoring his aching arms and tossed it to Zhori. "There you go, miss. You did some pretty interesting work out there."
Akito suddenly felt a tug at his sleeve and glanced down to see the little professor. "Oh! There you are, did you keep your teddy bear safe--" Akito stopped to listen to her speak. He glanced at a girl who looked like she was in critical condition. Well, better get all these unconscious people inside.
"Hey! All you able bodied men! Start carrying people to the infirmary! Chop! Chop!" Akito shouted at the people who were standing about idle.
He went over to the girl that Vivian pointed to and lifted her.

Zhori "Pfft, all I did was float around and try not to catch everything in the vicinity on fire," Zhori said, slipping into Akito's coat. Fortunately it was long enough to cover her bum--just. Wearing that, and nothing else (since all her clothes had burned to ashes), she trotted off after everyone else.
She'd missed the start of things so she wasn't really sure where the creature had come from or how exactly things had progressed as they did. She paused at the door of the school and realized Simon had vanished. Where...had he gotten off to?
