[Cory .:. Narnia .:. Outside Jadis' Castle]
"Oh, come on! Give me a break!"
The Revblade roared as it tore through another Invisible's sword and through the Heartless itself. There was a brief cloud of darkness as the creature vanished, but as it cleared the renegade could see only two Shadows fill its spot. "Dammit, why won't you things leave me alone?!" There was a brief instant as a glint of white light passed through the two creatures, followed by Cory standing at his new position on the other side of the now fading Heartless.
The rogue fell to one knee with the Revblade gripped in both hands, having long ago passed the point where he could still wield it one-handed. He looked up at the gathering masses of Shadows, barely managing a sigh through his already heavy breathing. "At this rate... You guys might actually get my Heart... For your sake, though, I hope you can do that before I can Drive again. Because then you're boned."

[Nick :: Unknown Plains]
Nick took a deep breath in, staring at the many Heartless before him. In this alternate costume, he felt as if everything he'd ever learned was gone. It was an odd feeling, but he couldn't let that restrict his actions. He charged in, immediately grabbing the nearest Lance Soldier's lance, swinging it around wildly. It knocked into the Lance Soldier, launching it into the air before having its own lance thrown at it. Nick let out a roar of fury, gathering the air around him as quick as he could before shooting the blast of air at the Dark Ball.
"That dealt with those two, methinks." Nick chuckled to himself, only to realize that another Lance Soldier and Dark Ball had replaced the previous two. "...Sunuva...This will be a bit harder than previously thought."

[ Seymour : LoD : Running Through the City ]
"I told you not to bother," Seymour called back with a rather amused 'hmph' as he managed to go faster than the ice exploded. However, due to his low agility, it was beginning to catch up to him. It seemed as if he would soon be skewered.
"Go back. They're unprotected," he commanded before exploding into Pyreflies, soaring after the man and thus bypassing the icicle attacks.

[ Emperor : LoD : Throne ]
"Ah, yes, King Mickey, I remember him. For such a young ruler, he had an air of honor an integrity about him," he said, rubbing his white beard in memory. "He'd come to me, asking that we mutually ally ourselves, and that in this time of chaos, we preach peace, not conquest."
"Not that he'd needed to bring such a philosophy to my attention, though his wisdom was certainly enough to earn my trust," he continued, looking down now to the rest of the group. "After our meeting, he said he was off to an island to the south- I believed he called it... Hah-wah-ee? He'd mentioned something about a republic of the stars. He didn't stay for long."
"If that is all, I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave," he said, standing slowly (he seemed more weary than his earlier speaking had let on). Though his face didn't reveal anything, a sense of mourning was somewhat notable in his voice. "Some of my finest were apparently slain due to my ignorance, and my country is fraught with unneeded tension. I will have to issue a number of decrees, and all before sundown..."

[Jenny :: Train :: Dining Car]
Jenny nodded in understanding, music was a beautiful medium of expression. She looked towards her ramune with a rueful smile, remembering back on how she and her friends would wrap ramune in paper bags and act like sea-faring pirates who just happened to be drunkards minus the colorful tongue. She looked back to James with a wry look concerning school.
"Yeah... I'm a creative writing major, it's carpal tunnel on a stick for sure. I would love to double in art too but that's unlikely, especially concerning how much it costs to buy all those supplies," the mage responded with a small shrug and a big smile. "How about you? Do you have school? Or anything of that sort?"

{James : Train : Dining Car}
James listened intently to her words, and nodded his head in understanding. Creative writing sounded like a lot of fun, though probably quite a challenge. The corsair had written a few different stories in his time... or at least started on them though they had never really come to fruition. A lot of them inspired by games and anime that he watched. Still he couldn't imagine having to do it for a class. He inwardly winced as she mentioned carpal tunnel. James used to get pains from it back when he was a cashier for ShopKo, that combined with all of the time he spent on the computer caused him a lot of pain so he knew what she meant.
"I see, that's pretty cool. Though the carpal tunnel doesn't. I am sure all of those different supplies would be very expensive. My art goes as far as paper and pencil and then maybe Photoshop coloring at the best. Anyway, I don't currently go to school though I do intend to someday. I tried my hand at the local University once for like half a semester... It didn't work out though because all of the lectures put me to sleep. Not my kind of school I guess. I work at ShopKo for the freight crew, working from like four in the morning until noon usually. A lot of lifting boxes and pushing carts around... It's not that much fun, but it's a job at least. Marriage and living in an apartment kind of makes that a priority over education... at least for me."
{Kuro Oni : The Flying Dutchman}
Kuro Oni listened intently to Ajora's words as he spoke regarding some "friends" and the fact that soon they would have their opportunity to get them all right where they wanted them. Kuro's right hand clenched into a fist in anticipation.
"Excellent. I look forward to being able to give them hell again..."
The dark corsair listened as Ajora mentioned going to fetch Cutler Beckett. He was bored and really had nothing better to do.
"Sure I'll go get him. I've got nothing else to do until the weaklings get here..."
With that he raised his left hand and focused, tearing open a portal into the darkness which he then stepped into and was gone.

[Kyla: LoD: Throne Room]
The pictomancer had taken the break in between chaotic to take stock of where everyone was right now, though Seymour left in pursuit of the armoured assailant, Kyle noticed Cloud perched over the prone body of Maggie, whom she thought would revive after sufficient healing...
When she made her way over to her, Cloud and Beatrix. The General seemed to be just recovering from her stunning, while Cloud was obviously trying to figure out what was wrong with Maggie. Kyla's brows creased... a pang of guilt in the pit of her stomach blossoming.
' I should have kept a closer eye on her... some friend I am.'
" There spell didn't heal her...could she just be tried?.." she asked. Kyla had passed out once before here, and remained that way regardless of healing, due to over exertion.
She could hear the Emperor's explanation, the King had passed through, preaching that they promote peace, and not fall to the temptation of taking up arms.... none too surprising... frankly it sounded like there should be more. Or maybe she just wanted there to be more. But their journey had just started, who was she to judge.
"Hawaii? He went there?.." Kyla racked her brain for what sort of place in the world of Kingdom Hearts and Disney could match up with that vague description, and a light went on behind her dark brown eyes.
"...so we're off..." she muttered, after China's ruler begged their leave while he attended to the dead and grievances of his people.
Turning back to Cloud and Beatrix, her gaze passed between them, "Need some help moving her?"

[Azrael: The Flying Dutchman]
The male watched Kuro leave the ship, then, once he was completely gone, Azrael frowned at where he had been.
"God, his obsession drives me up a wall..."
Looking to Ajora, the male actually showed a relatively blank face to the 'leader'. "You should be careful, you know. Obsessions like that can be troublesome to plans." A small smile appeared, slightly smug, and slightly condescending. "Of course, you would probably be aware of that."
Moving now, Azrael walked around Celia a few times, looking her over. She was...interesting. So dark, pretty...and Ajora basically said she was 'more than just a sex slave'. Well, basically.
"So, tell me, oh wise one. What does she do? I'm so curious it's creating an...itch in me~." His voice seemed to dance out of his mouth as he looked at her, getting slightly raspy at 'itch' as it seemed to be filled with the dark, warm imagery of something besides an 'itch'.

[Axel: LoD: Throne Room]
Well, after the little awkward interruption, it seemed things were finally straightened out, but not after some people died. Why did solutions turn up, only after things get messy?
Seems the way of things. Didn't make it anymore less a waste. Well, he didn't envy the Emperors' position right now. He had to do some serious explaining to a few fatherless, husbandless, brotherless citizens somewhere out there in this country of his.
And with a few bread crumbs of information they were now supposed to get on their merry way. All that, and just a small clue, an island...
Figures.
"..well seems we wore out our welcome regardless." he concluded, scratching the nape of his neck. He turned to Leon, "Time to head back then? Or shall we linger for 'The Ferret(Yuffie)' to get back?"

[ Ajora ; Celia : The Flying Dutchman ]
As Kuro left and Azrael spoke up about the Dreadnought Nightmare (yes, Ajora liked to nickname his associates), he couldn't help but shrug and give a half-hearted sigh. "Yeah, but it can come in handy. One track minds are easily predicted, and thus easily... made efficient."
As Azrael (he wanted to call him the Savage Nymph, but it was sadly taken; perhaps the Vicious Incubus?) began to give Celia a look-over, Ajora couldn't help but smile, as if honestly proud of his work. "Well, if I modeled her properly - and, really, like 'if' is appropriate -, then she's... well, Celia?"
There was no sign of recognition or acknowledgment; only a blur of movement beyond human eyesight. Azrael and Ajora would have seen it, surely, but even to them it would have seemed blurred. Of course, to Azrael, there was something more important than how movement appeared at the moment.
He was, after all, being held off the ground a few inches by his throat; her single hand grasped around his throat just enough to make him feel the pressure, but not enough to deal any serious pain. Azrael was still one of her master's allies, after all.
"Put bluntly, she's an assassin. Lithe, beautiful, graceful, deadly; I simply need to make her partner," he explained, a brief flash of discontent on his face before the return of his smile. "Celia?"
Once again, no sign of receiving any orders; she simply released her grasp on Azrael, allowing him to fall back to his feet with ease.

[Kai: The Flying Dutchman]
Kai had enough of trying to defend her pages from being soaked and ruined, so the ominous artist retired below beck, though it also was much to be desired. Kai didn't consider herself a snob, but she found the soggy, fishy smell decore, barnicle encrusted walls and soaking wet furnishing quite revolting.
All it said to her was, ' you can't sit and draw here in peace.'
Surounded by the unsightly disguisting crewmen, who's bodies were slowly rotting away into their aquarian forms, like succumbing to a parasidic infection, Kai had to practice selfcontrol so she wouldn't erase the next one that looked at her funny.
"Turn your eyes another direction, before I stab them out with my qwill's tip." she growled to one who's curious leering lingered too long on her person.
"Or how about I draw you without your head."
She couldn't wait to get off this acursed ship and start putting her own plans into motion. But her collective thoughts warned her to be aware of the plans of the other replica's on baord. They could very well cause just as big of an obsticle as the efforts of their originals if she wasn't careful.
Perhaps she should investigate the captians quarters. A few of the others had migrated to that place and haven't surfaced...
' what are those gnats up to?'

[Kichi :: LoD :: Throne Room -> outside the gates]
Kichi blinked. "Hawaii...?" He then nodded. "Thank you, your excellency. We shall take our leave at once then, we'd rather not be a burden." And with that he turned to the group "You guys heard him. Let's get to our...transport, and on our way. We'll rest there, so we're not in the way." His tone was encouraging, despite the...possibly crude wording of what he said. Turning back to the emperor, he said "Thank you once more, your Excellency. Farewell."
Kichi walked back over to the rest of the group, and spoke to Alan. "I can fill you in on at least most of what you need when we get back. Good to have you with us though." Giving off a genuine smile of reassurance (Both showing his, and also meant to give the same feeling to his friend).

[Azrael: The Flying Dutchman]
Could Azrael have avoided it? More than likely. Could he break out of that hold? Easily. However, why would he want to?
The hand against his throat, the pressure, the sheer endorphins created from it made his eyes roll back slightly into his head. He actually wished she'd put just a bit more pressure into it, make it hurt just a little...
As she let him go, he just stood there, smile on his face, eyes closed as he rubbed his neck, the touch and endorphins lingering. "Dear sweet heathen gods..."
Looking from the assassin to Ajora, Azrael got a kind of puppy-dog look in his eyes. "Dude, can I get a male one of those? Please? Pretty please? Oh, he'd be so much fun!"

[Jenny :: Train :: Dining Car]
Jenny smiled, lifting her head up to look across the table. "Yeah, I can't stand lectures either, professors usually drone on like no other. I guess that's why I kind of like creative writing and art, smaller classes and you get to know the professors. I guess it's more of a hands-on learning environment?" The mage responded enthusiastically before chuckling somewhat, "or else I would've been asleep long ago."
Her eyebrows creased a little in worry, James didn't look much over her age, maybe only by a year or two, yet he was working to support someone other than himself. It sounded like tiring work as well, having to imagine waking that early made Jenny nearly groan. But it was for an admirable cause, he needed to support Michelle and love was more than enough of a reason to tackle on work. "I can definitely see that being a more important cause than education, and the choice to go back to school is always there for you. Really, that's amazing, supporting your loved one! I work but only in the summer and even then, my paycheck goes partially to my parents and then the rest to my rent. Haven't begun to fathom what it would be like supporting another person," Jenny responded with a small smile, relieved and happy that she was getting to know James in the midst of everything.

[Alice :: HT :: Gorge]
Well bugger. Timmy left, and although he wasn't really the best company, it was still considered company. Now who was she going to eat stupid snow cones with? You're not considered an alcoholic until you start drinking alone... so what was she? Alys circled Alice, doing little pirouettes around the animator's head and Alice sighed. She kicked a random pebble in her path, watching the rock skip across the ground before she took a graceful leap, landing atop a tree. As she contemplated her next plan of action, it made her realize how much she missed being a kid and how much she missed naptime. She still looked relatively young, fourteen-ish compared to eight but it still made her sigh.
If she gave a crap about it, she would've gone to check on Cory, but his attitude and face annoyed her enough for the day and there was only so much she could handle before slipping poison in his next drink. He was worse than some other other kids, but she didn't want to go to the replicas just yet... afterall, that one kid's replica seriously made her itch for a security blanket.
~"You're quite humorous. The other replicas seem like they'd be fun to hang out with," Cuchulainn droned, chuckling to himself like some inside joke. "I can pay a visit to Ultima~ that sly witch~"
Alice rolled her eyes as she balanced on one foot, skipping across the length of the branch some... thirty feet above ground. Hah. Ajora, that creepy b*****d would probably sooner skewer me than allow you a chance meeting with her. Just because in your foolishness you were screwed over." And besides I don't think it's Dark Ultima that you're looking for.
~"But you've been observing the Earthling children for so long, surely you~" Cuchulainn dragged out the last sound lethargically, the sound of a smile on his tongue as he lounged in the back of Alice's head, "surely you would have some leverage~"
"And you don't think they, as the replicas would not know anything about their originals? You dolt. You're better off not saying anything, just the listlessness in your voice makes me want to sleep. I'll figure something out concerning the replicas later, I still want that snow cone... too bad that one village is just about leveled."
