Spicepelt laughed. "You should've just sent your medicine cat over. They'll be too badly injured from the passing mouse to walk home." She noticed Deserttail's sigh, but didn't care. This cat was insulting ThunderClan, and she wouldn't take it.

Batfur tried to control his anger, but simply couldn't take it. He turned to face Spicepelt and hissed. He unsheathed his claws and lashed his tail.
"Quiet you! You say one more bad thing about ShadowClan and I'll rip your fur off! I don't care if I get banished from StarClan, I'll make sure you suffer!"

Blizzardpaw wasn't sure what to make of all the arguments. For one thing, he was amused that two adult cats where fighting over such trivial things...
Even though Spicepelt does have a point... He found himself thinking ...thier apprenteces are gonna be barely together when they make it back to Shadowclan.
On the other hand though, he wasn't even sure if he was supposed to be watching this... afterall, Icestar had asked him to stay in camp, though Spicepelt requested otherwise.
It was when the Shadowclan cat insulted Thunderclans' apprentices' abilities, when he finally spoke up.
Are you suggesting that I'm not up to par with your amiture apprentices?! Blizzardpaw pipped up from behind Spicepelt, Icestar and Dustpaw. 'Cause it sounds to me that your saying that two of your apprentices can handle themselves...that doesn't sound very strong to me, when only one of us can take down two of you.
((Sorry I havn't posted all weekend... I was at the fair all day yesterday... Um I think that post might've been confusing... just work though it the best you can, okay? smile ))

Deserttail turned around quickly to find a Thunderclan apprentice that she didn't recognize. Her neck fur bristled, she didn't want to look hostile to a Thunderclan apprentice in front of the leader."Who are you? why are you following us?" She was secretly thinking that this distraction would keep Batfur and Spicepelt from bickering, although it was starting to get more serious then she would have hoped.

Batfur whipped around and stared at the newcomer.
"Stay out of this, kit!" he yowled. "This is not your battle to fight!" he turned back to Spicepelt. "Well? Do you back down from my challange, you worthess ThunderClan coward!"

Looking back to her clan-mate, she hissed, "Do you WANT a battle with Thunderclan?! Be quiet! We have bigger things to worry about right now, like getting Cottonpaw and Whitepaw back to their own territory!" Deserttail looked nervously back at Icestar. She just knew that this would have repercussions later.

Batfur turned back to Deserttail.
"Fine, I keep quiet if she will." he flicked his tail towards Spicepelt. "Deserttail, let's just look for Cottonpaw and Whitepaw by ourselves, it's not like we need their help." He wandered off alone to search, knowing that ThunderClan would still likely follow.
Cottonpaw shifted nervously as she heard the vocies.
"Whitepaw, maybe we should move. It sounds like the yelling is getting closer to us!"

Icestar was becoming frustrated with the behavior of her clanmates. She glanced at Blizzardpaw. "Silence, Blizzardpaw. Spicepelt, I suggest you keep your bickering to yourself." she mewed, glaring from her deputy to Batfur. Then she looked at Deserttail. "There will be no battle today. We will accompany you in search of your apprentices."

Spicepelt glared at Batfur. "Only if Icestar hadn't spoken up, I would've accepted the fight." She muttered, following Deserttail. She wouldn't let two ShadowClanners wander alone on ThunderClan territory.

"Let's just find these stupid furballs and get out of here." he mummbled quietly to Deserttail.

OOC: Sorry, I had a weekend trip.
Whitepaw shifted slightly, green eyes narrowed. She was lost in thought, listening to the voices. Everything was so complicated. The white she cat blinked upon hearing Cottonpaw.
"Maybe... they might see us. I don't know. If you want." Whitepaw meowed, her heart beat quickening. She felt like doing something daring. The white she cat unsheathed her claws, feeling like the urge to pounce on that sour tongued Spicepelt or that pitiful Blizzardpaw. Ugh.

Deserttail relaxed, knowing that the Thunderclan deputy wouldn't dare disobey her leader. But she was dissapointed in Batfur, why didn't he listen to her? She was his deputy and he had ignored her order. She opened her mouth to try and detect Cottonpaw's and Whitepaw's combined scents. Her eyes widened as she found it. "I've picked up the scent, they were here a few minutes ago! We just missed them." She was angry at Spicepelt and Batfur, if they didn't waste so much time bickering, they would have found them sooner. However, she was also angry at herself, she should have been more forceful with Batfur, to make him listen. She hung her head in shame.

Blizzardpaw was about to reply to the shadowclan cat, when Icestar silenced him.
As he glared at the shadowclan warriors he thought: Kit? I could probably take on this hot-headed shrew-brained shadowclan cat with both paws declawed!
His fur began to flare up, but he did his best to contain himself for his mentor.
Besides, if that idiot was half a desent warrior... he would've realized that I'd been here since Spicepelt showed up. Afterall, I was tailing after her the whole time. Shows how 'observant' that cat is. If anything, thier the ones who are the kits! He hissed to himself in his head.
((meh, Blizzardpaw isn't pitiful! T.T lol))

Batfur padded towards Deserttail and opened his mouth.
"You're right!" he said. "We need to hurry, they could've found a hidig place by now."
Cottonpaw nodded and squeezed out of the log, being very quiet. She could almost make out the sillouettes of some cats somewhere up ahead of her. She knew they were looking for Whitepaw and her, so she turned away and headed in the opposite direction, enjoying the rush of adreniline through her system.

For a moment, Blizzardpaw thought he heard the crinckle of leaves comeing from behind the group. He started to turna around and see what it was when the Shaddowclan cat named Batfur said something.
Icestar... he started, but desided that it was better to remain quiet for the time being. He tried to put it out of his mind... but if he descovered later that it was the kits, Blizzardpaw resolved that he would have to fast for a day.
