The halls resounded with metal footsteps. A loud clip-clop clip-clop, that went on endessly. They were the footsteps of an impatient man. A man who had been here in this castle before. The castle still held many mysteries from him, but he knew enough to get around. Being a minor lord of the Tesla coast had not stopped this lord from rising as a beacon of hope from the chaos known as Tesla's defeat. Most people loved his kind rule, and many hated him for his kind politics. This lord had been neutral in the war, fighting both sides off of the land he owned, and afterwards had made his own truce with the queen.

the footsteps stopped abruptly. Shadows that trailed him stopped as well. You could call those deceitful shadows bodygaurds, if you were kind enough. Killers to kill killers. That was all they were. The lord ignored them completely. "I wish to speak with the Queen. Where is she?" the lord asked, deep voice resounding through the hall. He was not known for following the book. This man always thought outside the box. This man was Lord Dracien, Lord of the coast.

(Of course you can. Why couldn't you?)

Lord Dracien didn't bow back. He never did. "thank you Advisor Black. I never liked Advisors myself, always trying to make a leader change their mind. I was going to set up some trade agreements with the other minor lords, with the Queen's blessing, of course." The lord's voice was like a razor scraping glass. Smooth, gruff, and to the point. "I am glad to hear she is still alive. Some bad buisness back there. Almost got my head taken off for being one o her supporters. To bad that it can't be helped." He looked around as if to see if Black was lying about the queen.

Lord Dracien shook his head in irritation. "Tell her that I am meeting with other lords in Llyr personally for business arrangements. I don't have the time to wait here and be pampered waiting for an awnser. If she has a problem with it, just reach me the usual way. I will eat, but then I must leave." the other lord said to Black without even a hint of courtesy. The man turned and walked straight into the kitchens. In barely a minute, a table was set up for him in the middle of the hall. It was a a giant spool, with a flat wooden board on top. with two wooden stool. The food had been hastily prepared for the lord, being nothing more than some hard bread, cheese, and two red apples. His eyes floated ack to Lord black. He took out one of the stools. "Are you going to stand there all day, or would you like to sit?" He moved back from the stool and moved to the other side of the impromptu dinner.

Black gave the man a hateful glare as he left into the kitchen, especially without the permission of anyone else there. When they came back, he watched them set up, right in the middle of the main hall. "It's rude to set up a table in someone else's main hall especially when you're looking for good relations." He told them as he heard Matachi enter. Then he looked over and he almost sighed. "This is Lord Dracien. A minor Lord on the coast of Tesla."

Black decided to sum it up. "Lord Dracien is here looking on trade agreements for Katherine. Though lately shes been busy with all the things from the recent rebellion clean up."

Katherine had fell alseep in the libary the night before. She went downstairs to bathe in the bath house and then herd her reports for today. She had dressed in a dark purple gown that was easy on her eyes. Her long golden hair fell freely down her back. She herd she had missed a lord from Tesla the night before. A shame really she wonderd how there prince had faired. She could ask someone to fetch him if he was still on her shores. She then after her work was done wonderd out into the court yard wishing desprately that Aiden was there or Asami.
