"Well, that's okay." Black told her with a smile. "I've written down a recommendation for you to receive a medal for your service. That alone should be enough for you to get one. Right now, I'm just glad to see you're still alive." He said, sitting down next to her in the chair. "Is there anything else you'll need?"

Matachi smiles "Pfft think hes gonna kill me? I've seen so much near death even the gods know my name." He says playing around but he didn't seem worried "But yes I understand I will come back in one piece Katherine you do not have to worry about that." He says smiling at her hoping she could trust him on that atleast

Mel shook her head slighty. "I am fine, well not fine but trying." she spoke as a small bit of a joke or trying.
Katherine embrcaed him then. "Good i think i would be alittle lost without you." She would most likely be dead without him, without Aiden to who she sorely missed as always. "Thank you."

Matachi was caught off guard by this a bit but soon he hugs her back "I will always be here for you Katherine you should know that." He told her into her ear when he hugged her reassuring her that he would come back and he would always be there for her.

She leaned back away from him then. "You should go see your friend, I should get to work. I haven't been able to set my mind to it all day." She spoke truthfully.

"Well, you'll be perfectly fine soon enough." Black told her reassuringly. "I'm having Matachi come to see you as well. I know he hasn't seen you since the battle, but he'll be happy to see you're alright. I'll stay here a little while longer to see you over."
When Katherine got to her paperwork, she would find Black's signature on a piece of paper for soldiers recommended to get medals and to a few families of the deceased to receive them as well in memory.

Matachi nods "You should see her aswell Katherine, I know you two don't get along but Mel is a soldier." He says not trying to piss her off but speaking truthfully, every soldier harmed in a act of protecting Llyr should be graced.
((BTW, Is Paradox head general or a secondary General I thought Matachi was head general just read his character profile))

She shook her head with the rembmerance of a slaming door. "No Matachi I think i better not." She spoke softly as she turned away from him.
Mel noded some. She didn't know how she felt about it. He hadn't come running when he herd she was hurt, she had been stuck her for days and she hadn't even herd a word from him.

Matachi nods "Its ok but I will come visit you abit later after I get done speaking to a few people about some new gear and visiting Mel." He says as he starts to walk off towards the medical wing, But, he gives her a kiss before he leaves as in thank you.

Black gave a sigh and sat back in the chair. He had promised to watch over her as he waited to listen for anything she might need for pain. Though he shivered at the thought of her bones not healing correctly, then he would have to do something he hated doing. Well, now it was just time to wait.

Katherine went back up to her work. She did more than just give metals she awarded postions and land to those who had been reported for greatness. Those that died in the war's families funreal expenses were paid for and there daughters given high doweries and boys promised work in the future. It was sad taxing work in all.
Mel was silent in her thoughts, before she was in to much pain to thought she more or less waited to die or wished it would come. She knew she was waiting impatiently for Matachi.

Matachi walks in to the door of the medical wing only a few cots away from Mels cot. He leans against the frame of the door "Well Well seems you are awake." he says smiling from where he was.

"Well, shes been awake the past few days." Black answered Matachi, taking pride in his own work. "She was out when I first came here. Then of course, I gave her some of the same stuff I gave you. When she was conscious again, I started work on her legs. This is actually the third day I've worked on them and they've already reacted to pain, which is a good sign. In the day couple days she should be able to walk again."

Matachi smiles "Good Job Black, and Thank You." He says as he walks forward and stands at the foot of her bed crossing his arms "You feeling any better Mel?" He asked.
