 *A bit stunned at Dames reaction, she nods to Ryzan and TES as they pass though. She leans forward, puts down her cup and looks at Dame as she speaks as gently as possible to not upset her further.* Dame…I didn't know what to do when you left. I didn't know what you needed. I didn't know what had caused your condition or what would help your recovery. I want what is best for you to heal properly and completely. *She pauses and takes a sip of her coffee.* I didn't know if this place and all of us were the problem. This place…all of the things you have been through in this place. What kind of undue stress it would bring you. I wasn't even sure you wanted to be here or come back. gonk I wanted you to have a choice when you recovered…no strings…no feelings of obligation.
I'm sorry you felt that way. It wasn't my intention. I want you to take your time, fully recover and want to be here. I just always thought you only used this place when you were only too tired to go to your own. sweatdrop
If you are ready and your doctor thinks it's fine, we can have you moved back in here immediately. It's up to you.

I suppose it should not be all that surprising, though sweatdrop Dragons do have an affinity and talent for magic. Being so young, he likely does not know just how to fully control it at the moment.
*Tes finishes up with the steamers, sets one on the counter and takes a seat by Ryzan*
It may take some time for him to better learn how to use it without elder magic using dragons to teach him.

-dame stands up abruptly- It doesn't really matter what my doctors think. My life is my own. I also don't understand how a place could bring me stress when I wasn't even here for a month or so. -she shakes her head- The first thing I would like is my security reinstated, if you don't mind. The rest of this can wait til later, I'm suddenly very tired and I have an early shift in the morning.

You changed him? eek Gi ussta~ That is quite unexpected. I had thought you only had shape shifting abilities that could only be used on yourself. Although, when learning magic, sometimes it is mzilt easier to start with yourself before using it on others. There are some things better left not to cast on yourself, though sweatdrop
Do you happen to remember the circumstances surrounding the change? That is to say... what was happening when Smok changed in size?

That's what I thought too. So far, it's only happened with Smok. Silver changes size and color, but she does that herself.
*pauses to take a drink of her cocoa* It seems to happen when I'm upset... I go spend time with my dragons then, and Smok is always the one who's there first to comfort me. I don't know exactly how it happens. It's too sudden.

((Sorry Psy, I feel like I'm about to crash. Night all.)) *Hugs Dame back and watches her leave quite puzzled at the abruptness of her response. New questions arise and she's not sure how her Doctor couldn't be involved since she was at a psychiatric facility.  Maybe the stress of having the conversation was it? Dame was clearly upset.  It's probably best to just continue this conversation at a later date. The last thing she wants is for Dame to relapse or anything…that would be dreadful. Perhaps access can be granted to the East Corridor only so she can move her stuff back if she wants. She gets up from her desk, takes her coffee and goes into the bar.*

I see... *thinks for a bit* I suppose it is a bit of a... "lashing out" response then. I know that sounds like it would only happen when someone is angry sweatdrop , jhal I was not sure how else to put it. Perhaps you should keep a charm of some sort with you so when you feel upset, instead of your dragons being affected, it will merely be an object. A journal to record what has been happening may also prove beneficial. Channeling your emotions into an outlet such as art or writing could also help calm you.
