Amaroq looked down and sheepishly smiled, confused and wondering as to what he had done or said to have made Tawny laugh. As seconds passed He felt even more chilled. He looked back up to the two ulaya and nodded in reply to Tawny's idea. Watching Kirei walk over to a batch of trees, he was about to follow until he stopped midstep, with her questions. "I'd probably prefer Amar.", He said, hopeing not to sound rude."Roq sounds a bit too earthy for me." He pinned his wings back a bit more, surprised by her other question. "Oh, they....kinda work. Though I'm still having trouble keeping in the air for longer periods of time."

Tawny followed them last. He was walking rather slow, like normal. It was just how he was. His state of mind was very calm and lazy, though that didn't stop him from doing anything. "I didn't even notice you had wings. Paron my rudness. " He said with a nervous chuckle.
This was the first Ulaya he met with different wings. Though, he hadn't met many so he wasn't that surprised. "I've been quite curious about something. We didn't see you jump into the water. Where you already there?" he asked. Perhaps he flew into it while they weren't paying attention. Tawny wasn't much of a guardian, so he wasn't surprised he didn't see the other.

"That's so neat that you can fly, even if it's only for a little while Ama! I wish I had wings..."
She continued the last couple of steps to the trees and layed down. She was glad the breeze wasn't that strong, and it was warm. She rolled over onto her back to look up at the sky. The trees blocked out the stars a bit, but there were enough gaps between the branches to see the beauty of the night.

"Its ok Tawny." Amaroq replied with a grin. He tried to think of what to say to Tawny without telling them that he had listened into their conversations earlier. "Well....I was trying to fly over the lake, because I didn't feel like walking around it. But I hadn't rested my wings long enough between flights...So my wings kinda failed on me..." He couldn't help but laugh a bit, despite the pain he had gained from the dive.
Amaroq followed behind Kirei-Chi and sat across from her, leaving some room for Tawny between them. "Flying is pretty cool; I love how the wind feels in my face, especially the clouds during the summer, really refreshing for the warm weather. Though there is always its drawbacks....for me anyway." He quickly stretched out his wings a bit, as it was starting to ache from being folded back for a while. "The pains that I get from flying too long is sometimes unbearable . But I've grown used to it...I guess I should of tried to have gotten used to flying when I was younger..."

Tawny smiled. He was glad he didn't have wings. He liked the earth very much. He thought of wings as a lazy way to get around. Though, him being slightly lazy didn't really make sence. Though he still liked to walk. "I'll just keep to the ground." He laughed. "I'm afraid of heights." He wasn't really sure if he was, but it made more sence in saying so.

Kirei-Chi only half listened to the conversation, as she was too mesmerized by the stars. She hoped she might see a shooting star. Sometimes conversation came to her easily, but other times she felt her tongue was tied. Now was one of the latter times. It seemed as if the conversation had simmered down, and she wasn't sure how to get it started again.
"Are you two going to come lay down?" She finally asked.

Tawny smiled at Kirei and walked near her. He didn't have to watch the stars with her, since he still thaught it as a thing mates did, but he wasn't going to make her feel bad for someone not sitting with her.
"Don't mind if I do." He said kindly and laid next to her a few feet away. His tail wagged and made noise as his tail fluff hit the grass under neath. He closed his eyes for a second then looked at Kirei and then the other one. Where they to become friends, or was this a one time meeting? He truely hoped it wasn't going to be just a one time introduction and then never seeing them again. He needed friends.

Amaroq laid himself down here he sat, licking some of the muddy water off of his paws. "ugh..", he groaned in reply to the taste. He tried to get rid of the muddy taste by loosly licking tall blades of grass. But he only succeded to remove a little bit of it. He saw Kirei looking up at the sky, and coughed. "So...Kirei-chi...You sure seem to have quite an interest in stars..."

"Hmm?" She glanced over at Amaroq. "Oh, they're just so pretty and mysterious. I love looking up at them. I think my parents used to look at the stars with me when I was very young." She laughed at the face he was making... like a bug flew in his mouth of something.
"Something the matter?" She asked.

Tawny sat there quietly as the two talked. His attention was fixed on a piece of grass that was much longer then the other grass they were laying on. It was making him want to pull it out and eat it, though he continued to stay still.
He narrowed his eyes at the strand of grass wanting to move even more, but he just sat there looking at it. It was like the grass was taunting him. Why must he have an urge to eat it!
