Faeruithir I have a new-found appretiation for banshees. Just the other day, I was playing a friend of mine who has Space Marines. I had my squad of 6 banshees (inc. exarch) fly right up next to his squad of terminatiors and assult. This squad also included an emporers champion, for the record. To make a long story short, I lost 4 banshees and he lost the entire squad. I could have kissed the dice blaugh Secondly, I've heard that Baharroth is a good choice for a Phoenix Lord. I have Maugan Ra currently, and he has his pros and cons. While he effectivly attacks with str 8 in hand-to-hand and ignores normal armour saves, he doesn't often get a chance to take advantage of his Fast Shot or Crack Shot abilities because he must stay stationary to shoot and even then can only shoot 24". 5 man swooping hawks squad with exarch tooled. 21 power weapon wounds on terminators by it'self. ^^

Nah web of skulls and sustained assault. I rolled something like 45 hits and wounded 21 times. Cos each time the exarch hits he gets another attack

umm, that doesnt work. it says you have to stop at 4 hits for the WOS.

that is only for shooting the web. In close combat you can get as many hits due to the "sustained assault" exarch power as you can pass. I take the web of skulls only because it is a power weapon basically.

I have heard similar stories of swooping hawk exarchs annihalating entire squads like that. Thats mainly why I want to get some. Plus, doesn't the phoenix lord get sustained assult too? Thats even better.

I love karandras b/c of suprise assult. +2 Attacks for charging! It rox even with guardians. Who can withstand 60 attacks!?

Iron BaneWolf I love karandras b/c of suprise assult. +2 Attacks for charging! It rox even with guardians. Who can withstand 60 attacks!? Its better with storm squads, 1, +1 one for 2 ccw's, +2 for charging, and an 20 man squad, thats 80 attacks, plus karandras. ^_^

but eith both u get 100 attack. With regies, u get 60 combat attacks and 40 shootings, but with the others u get 80c and 20shooting. normies are probly better.
