"And you're not manly so there's no problem." She poked his side as her tail swished lazily behind her.
"I mean if you were manly you'd be more like.....thoes guys in movies, not the guys in thoes books by that spear guy"

"Hey!" Tadrith was rightously affronted. Well, in his mind, anyway. "I'm manly! There's lots of ways to be manly!" He puffed, poofing his cheeks out. "Just because I don't have muscles that rip shirt every time I move doesn't mean I'm not a man. Not that I wear shirts. But that's beside the point." He poked her back, rolling away onto his back.
"And the guys in Shakespear's books are manly too. One of them helped save his kingdom by taking on the threatening king and defeating him single-handed!" He stuck his tongue out. At least listening to H.E. rant about classes and plays was paying off.

"You're a man, but you're not manly. You're just ....Tad" She laughed. He wasnt manly, if it was manly she'd have laughed at him the first time they met.
"Ok, i havent read thoes. All the ones i read had guys who were cute and sweet and killed themselves for love."

"Is being Tad manlier than being manly?" He could compromise with that. After all, he was a hunk of burning love.
"Eh, I haven't read them either. H.E. blabs about them when her ex-ams come around. I dunno that one, though. Wouldn't it be better to live for love?" He rolled his eyes. "Dying sucks, after all."

"Umm...yea, sure." She snickered. No. Technally being Tad was different but agreeing would make him feel better.
"I think when they were written people though it was really cool to die for someone you loved. It proves that you'd so anything for them and all"

"I sense some doubt in that sentence," Tadrith commented with a grin, "but I'll take it anyway. Oh yeah, Tadrith's the best." He wriggled from side to side.
"You can prove that you'd do anything for a person without getting yourself killed. Besides, you can do more stuff for them to show your undying love if you're not dead."

She laughed and poked his side with a paw.
"Yea. I figured it be better to live but people back then liked it." The storiesd were pretty and funny and touching, even if people ended up dead alot

He wriggled some more and gave her a despairing look in jest, deciding to poke her back.
"I guess." Tadrith suddenly heaved a sigh and looked forlornly at the sky. "You know, if I tell H.E. that I owe you cookies and flowers she's going to be in stitches. Maybe I should just ask Diro and Kiisha instead. They probably won't laugh." Much.

"Why would she laugh?" She squirmed at the poke and looked at Tad. "Its not funny is it?"

"No, but she'd think so. H.E.'s got a weird sense of humour." He yawned before licking his chops. "That, and I'm pretty sure she'll find it amusing that I'm 'finally' bringing a girl presents." Tad snorted at the thoughts. Weirdo owners.

"Exactly! I'll be the laughingstock of my house!" Tadrith waved his front paws in the air lazily, going back to his sluggish mood at the banter. "Although I am a Tala of my word, and will keep my promise to you." He poofed out his chest and tried to look as dignified as anyone could while lying on their back -- which was, of course, not much -- before turning his head to look at Tovi.
"Does that get me points?" He waggled his eyebrows jokingly once again.

"You better keep your promise." She giggled and hopped up to stretch. Fluffing out her tail she swished it around for a moment before she sat back on her haunches.
"It might ... we'll have to see how good your presents are"

((Ka CHING!))
Today was not a good day.
Well, to be honest, yesterday hadn't been such a blast either. Or the day before that. Or the day before that.
Yeah, Tadrith's month had been pretty crappy. And it was all because of the thing. Which was currently clutched to his back between his flapping wings and chirruping happily around streams of 'funfunfunfunfunfunfunfun'. Ugh.
The black Tala sighed moodily and landed smoothly onto his snow-covered rock, the Jivvin squealing with delight. It immediately pounced off his back with a 'wheeeee~!' into the snow, and almost dissapeared because of it. Groaning, Tad leaned over and pulled it out by it's ruff and placed it on less deep snow.
"Go do whatever the heck you do. Romp. Whatever. Just don't go too far and get lost." Or else Halfling will have my hide. It could've been worse; at least the bugger was blue instead of white.
"Kaykay!" The Jivvin sang before hopping to and fro.

She wasn't all that happy about the snow but at least she had fur. Hatter spent too much time complaining that the show as cold and got into her shoe so she was glad that she didn't have that problem.
Snow also meant that she had to dig for flowers rather than just being able to see them. She'd found a few as she shoved snow aside but so far it hadn't been anything fun.
