tessamon i don't think anyone was actually bothered to read what i wrote hehe.. sweatdrop im feeling the same right about now... stare but dont worry, i read your huge paragraph. and i think its true. im glad there are emo bands. without that genre a moosic, i think id be alot more depressed than i am now.

I heard that one reason why Emos are hated so much is because people label emos as Wannabe Goths.
Now, I don't know where that came from for Goth and Emo are two completely different things.
Goth - mainly obsessed with death, darkness, shadow, decay ect...
Mostly Heavy Metal bands are the music of choice
Make up to appear more corpse like
Emo - Emotional punk. Emos are not obessed with death, they are more along the lines of taking interest in the downside of life. The heartbreak. Revenge. Rage. Betrayal.
Less screaming in Emo music (you can actually hear what the artist is singing)
Make up - black with splashes of color. (like black hair with a splash of hot pink for show)
But I think one reason why people don't like emos is probably the ones who do nothing but b***h and COMPLAIN. Yes, life sucks and a little cutting never hurt *just as long as you don't get carried away* but not everyone wants to hear about how your boyfriend or girlfriend broke up with you or how you're so alone in the world. If you're going to b***h, then please don't whine in a high pitched voice.
I personally like to throw a few curse words, let out a heavy sigh and go home and cut my hand in the darkness (not crazy cut though)

People just dont like it when people stand out and are different most people like to fit into the crowd but emo goth and punk stand out and people dont like that so they give them bad names.
