Drako finds his shoulders pressed to the mat anyway, the exact situation he was trying to avoid.

Drako rolls the shoulder up. But two can play that game. Reaching up with one arm aimed around Nuke's waist and the other under his leg, he attempts to pivot and roll Nuke backwards into a pinning situation of his own

A shred reversal from the most coveted WWFG World Champion in history!

Nuke is able to power out from his shoulders, sprawling and then rolling slightly to the side.
This match was electric, and the fans cheered their support for both superstars!

Drako almost got Nuke there. He rolls to the side after the kickout, rising to a crouch with his eyes on Nuke and a smirk on his face.
"Almost had you."
The Soaring Dragon would slowly rise to his feet again, fully expecting Nuke to do the same

Nuke also slowly got to his feet, and looked out at the crowd, who were cheering along at this back-and-forth going on between two legends of the game.
Fusion contemplated what he would have to do next here. He rushes forward, aiming for a quick clothesline!

Clearly it's time to kick things up a gear, as Nuke looks to take Drako's head off. The Soaring Dragon ducks, then looks to catch Nuke as he turns back around with a stiff knife edged chop across the chest

Wooooo!
The crowd cheered and cried out as the chop echoed across the arena.
Nuke clenched his teeth and held his his bare chest for a second.. rallying, he turned to face Drako again.

there'd be more of those to come, but for now, Drako looks to switch things up as he reaches out to catch Nuke's arm, almost attempting to push him back but truly aiming to irish whip him across the ring to the ropes, a back body drop in mind on the rebound

Nuke found himself being whipped across the ring. On the way back, he then found himself being picked up and dropped hard onto the canvas.
Drako was back in control!

feels good to be in control again, but Drako doesn't intend to slow down now. Reaching down to pull Nuke up, the Soaring Dragon aims to lift and drop him again with a quick scoop slam, more old school moves but necessary for what he has planned next

Nuke wasn't able to get any kind of counter in here, as Drako continued a little control in this match. The scoop slam was simple, but executed beautifully.
Was Drako setting something up now?

With Nuke down, Drako decides that it's time to take a little risk and live up to his name. He quickly steps out onto the apron and climbs the turnbuckle. Once at the top, he'd dive off aiming an elbow drop across the chest of Nuke

The crowd were on their feet again, cheering wildly.
Cameras flashed, and shouts rang out across the arena.
Drako jumped, soaring through the air and coming down..
On to nothing, as Nuke rolled to the side and under the bottom rope!

there's a reason they call it high risk, and Drako doesn't get the reward this time as he crashes to the mat instead of across Nuke as he'd intended. he hits the mat with a loud thud, the impact jarring his elbow and knocking the wind out of him

Nuke looked over as Drako crashed and burned hard on the mat.. he looked around at his options, and gingerly got up to a knee, then two, and on his feet.
Standing slowly on the ring apron, Fusion readied himself.
Drako had tried something high risk, and now it was his turn.
The veteran jumped up on to the top rope and used it as a springboard, aiming for a 450 splash!

Drako is already down, looking up at the lights, but that doesn't last long. Nuke has taken Drako's idea and put his own twist on it, crashing down on the Soaring Dragon with a 450 splash, ensuring that at least for now, he's down and out of it
