May giggled before explaining, "Professor Oak isn't a tree. He is one of the most famous Professors. He is the one to give you Pikachu." She said petting the Pokemon on the head. She placed the call and got a picture of an older man looking sad. "Hello professor."

"Hello, May, Ash, Pikachu," Oak greeted them, smiling. "Don't worry about explaining the situation - we already got the briefing from Professor Birch. So tell me, how are you two doing?" he asked, heroically refraining from commenting on how Ash was poking the videophone screen, the amnesiac at one point nearly licking it if it weren't for Pikachu restraining him.

"oh fine Professor Oak. I just wanted to be sure his mother was ok. And that she knows what's happened to Ash. I think after a couple weeks traveling in heonn, I'll get us to Pallet Town so that his Pokemon and mother can see him." May said smiling. "Oh can you send him some of his Pokemon? Maybe the Heonn ones? he only has Pikachu and I know Pikachu is a strong guy but he will need a team still if people recognize him." She said.

"Sounds like a plan," Oak agreed. "I'll send Sceptile, Swellow, and Corphish... since I think an old face might help too, I'll also send over Charizard." Sure enough, the Pokéballs in question were transferred over in a matter of seconds. Ash blinked, then sniffed the Pokéballs; their scent was rather familiar...

May smiled picking up the balls. She didn't let them out yet. "Thanks, Professor. We'll call you a little later. i think Ash needs to be meet his Pokemon again." She said. She ended the call and dragged Ash with her to a open grass area. She easily tossed up all four balls to release them. "hey guys long time no see." She greeted them before turning to Ash, "Ok Ash meet some of your Pokemon." She said

When the Pokémon came out, they immediately gave Ash a baffled look; he seemed familiar, but he didn't smell or look like anyone they knew... Charizard was the first to figure it out, and promptly gave Ash its traditional greeting: a Flamethrower to the face. 'That feel familiar... why Flamethrower to the face make Ash feel happy?' Ash blinked owlishly, face screwing up in a moment of intense concentration before something seemed to click. "You... Charizard?" ...Apparently familiar actions helped him remember things... either that, or pain was an excellent motivator. After that, there was a great many greetings and explanations, along with Sceptile and Charizard switching between sizing up each other and sizing up Ash's new form, the two battle-hungry Pokémon obviously curious about just how powerful Ash was. On a side note, apparently Ash's Poké-speech consisted of snarls, growls, hisses, and the occasional strange humming noise. Of course, they were all completely oblivious to a strange being watching them from the shade of a nearby tree, listening to their every word. 'I see... so now more than ever, we have common ground, Ash. It seems that I couldn't have made a better choice.' With that, the being promptly Teleported away, deciding to meet Ash face-to-face at a later date; he didn't want to ruin the moment.

May smiled to Sceptile before letting out Blaziken. "Hey Blaziken look an old friend." She said pointing to Sceptile. Blaziken smiled happily before walking over to her old friend. She gave him a big hug that lifted him off the ground saying a happy hello while showing off her improved strength. May giggled before walking to Charizard, "Hey big guy, do you know me?" She asked tilting her head to the side. She petted his neck then took out a napkin. May wiped off the black smudges from Ash's face.

(Blaziken X Sceptile... I could actually see that happening. xd ) Sceptile was a little startled at first, but smirked softly, hugging Blaziken back. Charizard nodded, smiling slightly to May, though he was still watching Ash with curiosity... and there was a gleam in his eye that anyone that knew the Fire-type would recognize as a desire to battle. Ash blushed ever-so-slightly at feeling May clean his face, but didn't stop her, secretly rather enjoying the situation, much to the amusement of the Pokémon, Pikachu in particular.

((I saw it in the anime. Trust me, girls have a lot of shipping ideas.... granted alot of them are with guys together but there are some normal ones.)) Blaziken was happy he returned her hug before greeting Corphish and Swellow. Eevee bumped Pikachu playfully seeing his trainer enjoy her trainer cleaning him. May looked to Charizard seeing a familiar look she had always seen in Ash's eyes. "Ash, I think we should find someone to battle. I don't think Charizard can wait. Or does he want to battle you?" She said in confusion.

(Yeah, I know... I saw a Bulbapedia article on the list of shippings and got curious. I was then irreparably scarred for life by the mental images of some of those... including the Ash X Pikachu one. Fortunately, some of the pics of Pikachu as a hot girl alleviated that last bit of mental scarring somewhat. xd ) The two Pokémon greeted Blaziken back, and Pikachu grinned and bumped Eevee back equally playfully. Charizard let out a noise of confirmation at May's words, watching Ash with interest. Ash nodded at May's last question. "Charizard curious - can sense Ash is stronger, wants to see how strong," he explained matter-of-factly, as if that were normal... which to a Pokémon, it probably was.

(There is one that I couldn't even imagine til i saw a picture of the pairing. Eww It is awful. )) May thought about it before saying, "Ok you two can fight but when I say stop you better stop." She said sternly looking at the two. She got in between the two, "I'll be referee." May said. Blaziken sat down on the grass to watch. Eevee pounced on to Pikachu wanting to play with him now.

(Yeah, saw that one, got scarred for life... also saw one the other way around. There's actually a name for that: HSOWA. What's worse is that it's actually viable - they're both part of the Field egg group. There are even images of the possible offspring. On a side note, you might want to edit that into a link so that your account doesn't get banned from the website.) Pikachu happily complied, more than happy to play with the pretty (at least by Pokémon standards) Eevee. The two immediately got into position, Charizard tensing up as if ready to attack at any moment, Ash dropping slightly into a feral stance, draconic claws unsheathing as the two waited for May to start the match. (On a side note, if we're competing on who can give the most disturbing image:  )

((I did edit and it is awful what they pair with. I like Skitty and I don't want to see that breed with a large blue whale.)) May looked at the two. Looking them over, she threw down her hand to start the battle. Blaziken started to cheer for her fellow fire starter. Eevee paused in her play with Pikachu to cheer for Ash before tackling Pikachu.

He then countered with a Flamethrower, only for an X-shaped Air Slash to intercept it and easily power through it, sending Charizard crashing through a tree. Pikachu similarly cheered (though for who was unclear) before returning to playing as well, pouncing Eevee right back.

((You know the second one wasn't too bad.)) Eevee then licked his cheek before running away. May winced before saying, "I'll go check on Charizard and see if he will continue the battle." She said running to the hole. She started to look over the large starter and saying, "Do you yield Charizard?" She asked. Blaziken looked to Sceptile and moved to sit next to him.
