After they finished the dishes and put them away, Bakura and Alina walked into the living room and sat on the couch and watched Tv with Akiza and Nina.

Nina smiled hearing Akiza laughing. Then when Akiza saw Bakura and Alina she went over to Bakura and hugged his leg happily still getting used to walking on two legs.

Bakura smiled and gently patted Akiza's head. Alina yawned slightly, full from eating lunch so she was a little tired. "I think i may go take a nap." she said.

Akiza then yawned and cooed saying "I'm sleepy." Then she went over to Alina and reached for her. "Looks like someone else needs a nap." Nina said with a small giggle. Akiza was very sleepy from her full belly and wanted to lay with her mommy.

Alina reached down and picked up Akiza, snuggling her in her arms. "Well i guess me and Akiza are going take a nap then." Alina said getting up and giving Bakura a kiss on the cheek before heading to their room with Akiza, leaving the door ajar.

Akiza was sound asleep already on Alina's shoulder. She looked so cute when she was asleep. Nina thought she was adorable. She wasn't able to have kids for some unknown reason so she thought they were lucky. She smiled and said "Your quite lucky to have Akiza with you. She reminds me of a child I babysat once when Alina and I were teenagers." She smiled and hoped they would be happy.

Alina gently put Akiza on the bed and climbed in next to her. Pulling the blanket over the both of them she gently placed her arm over Akiza and closed her eyes drifting off to sleep herself.
"Oh really?" Bakura asked a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"Yes. You see I can't have any children of my own. It's something I've never known the reason for. But I've always wanted a child. I hope that I will be able to adopt one day but.....I just wanted you to know how lucky I think you are." Nina explained and smiled a sad smile trying to hide her tears she had in her heart.

"Oh i see." Bakura said quiettly. Then he got up walked over to Nina and gave her a hug. "Just know we're here for you no matter what and you're welcome to watch Akiza at anytime." he said.

"Thank you. Your very kind." She said with a smile as she hugged him back. "I promise I'll treat her as if she were my own." She said as she looked at him. She could tell that he cared for Akiza and ALina and that Alina made the right choice with him.

"No problem, and i'm sure you will." Bakura said smiling down at her. Then he got up and stretched. "Well i think i'm going to go take a nap myself, i'll see you later Nina, just make yourself at home." he said walking over to his and Alina's room.

"I think I'll go take a nap as well." She said going to the guest room and laying down in her bed. Akiza was snuggled up to Alina sound asleep gripping the blanket as she slept. She was a cutie and a sweetie once you got to know her. Though something about Alina and Bakura didn't know was that she was a fast learner, a really fast learner.

Bakura climbed into bed next to Akiza and Alina and driifted off to sleep.

((Yes please. But I'll timeskip a few weeks when she says her first word.))
A few weeks later Akiza was getting better with talking but was getting discouraged since she couldn't talk like them. but her walking and talking had gotten a lot better. Right now She was with her counselor trying to say daddy. SHe had become a daddy's girl over the passed few weeks. So far she managed to say "dada." and "mama." She was getting close to daddy but the last part was hard for her. But then she said "Da-ddy." her counselor smiled and sid "Good job Akiza." and gave her a piece of candy. It was the best way to keep her attention since her mind wondered off easily. But she didn't get rewarded every time but this was a breakthrough. The counselor would use other items to keep her attention and they seemed to be working. SHe was very happy that Alina and Bakura loved her as much as they did.

Alina and Bakura stood and watched the counselor work with Akiza. They were both beaming with pride, proud of how much progress Akiza had made.
