 The spider scuttled around in a circle, snapping at the gears that kept attacking him. Small cracks were appearing in the armor on his back but the damage was minimal. "I'll drain the marrow from your bones!" He yelled at them. He charged Michi, trying to snap her up in his massive mouth.

 Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne nodded a bit when she was informed of the mission and hesitated a moment when she was told she would be following a captain. "Wait...do I have to...go out on..water again?" she asked, though having no problem with boats it was the water she hated. She couldn't swim well and literally sunk like a stone. It also wore away her stitching. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Without hesitance he smashes the ground underneath him and lifts it up and shields himself from the acid. It was still no good the acid melted even the earth's crust. As the acid penetrated through terra, some of the acid splattered through and got him on his whole right hand. The acid burnt the surface of his skin, but the decay effect was not working. "Shet..." just as he saw the creature charged at Michi for attacking him on the back. There was small traces of cracks on its armor now. The man rushed at a oak tree and broke off a massive piece of the tree with his hands. Taking the sharp pointed oak piece he jumps onto the creature's back and drove it into its back, but the armor was too thick that the oak only went half way. Before he could even slam the oak piece into the armor, he was knocked off.

 Detective Meyers looked down at her. "You may have to go on the water if she sails her ship, though right now it's probably docked. Don't worry, the sharks usually don't come this close to the coast." He brushed some lint off the cuff of his sleeve. "If you can't handle something like this by yourself, I understand. Captain Sandy is a powerful Pirate Captain."

The spider let out a cry of pain as he felt the tree digging into his armor. "I'll eat you alive!" He yelled angrily, as he swung back and forth. The tree stayed stuck in his back but he was still able to fight. He began to spew acid again, except this time it was a continuous stream like a fire hose as he aimed for both of them.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Oh no, I can handle it. No problem." she said, hiding away her nervouness of the ocean. "Father wishes I go on this mission and I plan on finishing it to make him proud. It's the least I can do for him creating me and giving me life." she smiled a bit. "I suppose just point the way again and I'll be off." she was determined to get through this, even if she had to go out on the water again. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"C-created?" He asked, confused. "Er...nevermind." He turned and pointed in the direction of the cove. "Don't worry, you'll know her ship when you see it." He folded his arms as he looked in that direction. "Be careful, she has a crew as well and I'm sure they know how to fight."

After about an hour of walking, the sound of loud voices could be heard cutting through the jungle. The sound of waves crashing against the shore could be heard as well and the smell of salt was in the air. Seagulls cawed overhead as the voices shouted to each other about loading things properly. Two of them were female and one was male.

On the beach there was a hastily constructed dock with massive, wooden crates all across it. The Wavedancer was nowhere to be seen, but it was clear that it would be arriving soon to pick up whatever the cargo was. On the docks two figures could be seen:   They were both standing by the crates, trying to stack them on top of one another. The third female voice was coming from behind one of the crates. "Ar! You're the big strong man, YOU stack the crates!" the girl said, hands on her hips as she looked at the boy. "Ar! I've been scouting the beach all day, I'm too tired to stack!" The boy replied. "Will you two just shut up and help me stack?" The other female voice replied from behind the crates, clearly annoyed with the two.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne seen the crew and crouched behind the bush thinking. What can I do? Clearly I can't charge out there weapon ablaze...they'll have me outnumbered. Hmm....sneaking closer to the dock was her only option. Maybe she would find her way on the ship as they were busy with the crates. Madilyne sighed and snuck closer, using the bushes to get as close to the dock as possible. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The spider groaned in pain as one of the stingers hit the broken tree trunk, driving it deeper into its back. Sticky green fluid sprayed out of the wound, covering the area. The spider rushed forwards angrily, trying to stomp on Michi with it's legs.
