That is only the selfish perception of people... If the region that you wish to switch to has an open space in the roster, then you may switch to it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to do so. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win...

I do have a question though. My Pokemon are in my Pokemon Black version, but they are Sinnoh Pokemon (at least 3) which I transferred from my Platinum version so am I still allowed to use them?
