Technique Name: Gargoyle
Description: Scherbe is a master manipulator of stone and rock. It is a simple enough skill to mold rock around one's body to create natural armor; she took that concept and perfected it. That perfected state has been called Gargoyle. It begins by forming dense stone around much or all of her body. While it is very durable, it weighs only half as much as an equivalent amount of loose stone. It still slows her down, just not as much as someone else would be. In return, this armor grants her several boons. First and most obvious is defense, against everything except Suiton or Mokuton-based techniques. It also increases her strength by a noticeable margin. Another aspect of the armor is that it can leach poisons and toxins out of her, though not immediately. It still takes time and rest, but it is much more difficult to kill her through poison.
The armor, when donned, takes on a draconian feel, lending her hands and feet clawed gauntlets and taloned greaves, and granting her large wings and a scaly tail. While the wings look broad enough to support her weight, they are rock, and she cannot fly or even glide with them. She can freely use the wings or tail in other ways, however.

Description: Humans are the result of many thousands of years of evolution. They have come a long way, developing sentience, free will, the arts and higher learning, as well as a plethora of skills devoted to violence and the darker side of life. But at their heart, every human is still just a human, and some instincts will forever breed true. A fear of the dark, a drive to reproduce, and vision trained to spot movement and living things, be they predator or prey.
That is where this skill comes in. Due to Scherbe’s control over stone, she can actually encase herself in a thin layer of stone. While this can serve as an impromptu armor, that is only one facet of it's usefulness. Another ability it grants her is to evade detection, and pass through stone. This skill can only be used when she is not the primary focus of attention, but otherwise is fairly variable in what it allows.
(Basically, at any time that Scherbe is clad in her 'Rock Armor', when nobody is looking directly at her, she may meld with the natural rock present in the terrain. This includes sinking down into the ground and passing through it at great speed, only to emerge in another location without leaving a trace of her trail. This can be used for attack or defense, making for an easy ambush or getaway. Obviously, it can only be used in an area with at least some stone or stonework present. So no deserts, lakes, or wooden cottages. As an aside, the activation of this skill is similar to the Cloak: Art of Non-presence, while the process is comparable to Ashura Senku.)
Activation Cost: 800, plus an additional 400 per turn she remains submerged.
