Yeah, but the thing is that I had no idea we would be allowed to use Pokemon in the Uber Tier, I thought standard rules and clauses would apply, but instead I'm greeted with the sight of a Deoxys and a Latios with Soul Dew. Had I known I would have pulled out some of my Ubers.

Actually, Smogon's Standards do apply. Deoxys Defense Forme was never on Generation Five Uber Tier. And my Latios did not have Soul Dew, maxxed out Special Attack EVs with an Expert Belt. And you can't leave out STAB

Well to be honest I thought it was. And as for the perseverance thing: It's kinda hard to do that when someone has an impenetrable wall that's constantly healing itself. But that's just me being bitter. emo

Ah, Deoxys. Not impenetrable, but you should have taken it out earlier in the game. Did you have anything with Toxic or Taunt???

Spiritomb was the only one with Toxic, after that, Gliscor's Poison Jab was my last hope. And since both of them were down, there was pretty much no hope left at all.
