That weird magical connection feeling hadn't yet vanished, but it lessened slightly.
Lucas smiled. Fionna always had the way of making him smile even in the very worst of times. He held her close and kissed her soft cheek before he spoke in a quiet voice next to her ear. Like a loud whisper; "You know, I was thinking, there's a February vacation, right? For about a week? ((Lil said she was adding this, we're working out details)) I doubt my parents would let me visit you, but you can come visit if you want for a little while, a couple days." Lucas asked a bit nervously, he felt bad since he didn't want to drag her away from her family. Yet he wasn't sure if he could miss her for so long, he wasn't sure how long he could handle his parent's ignorance and cruelty without her. They weren't bad people, really. They only hated werewolves. They only hated monsters. And it was just a great coincidence that he was one.
"Oh, and I almost forgot, before you tell me what you were going to, I wanted to sincerely apologize for the Great Hall earlier. And for now, breaking the rules." He was being honest, but he still had a smile on his face. He just felt bad Fionna had to see him fighting and he was making her break rules, one of the last things she'd really do. He had to do something to make it up to her.
"Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"

She indulged in his kiss like bliss. She loved his kisses and was starting to become addicted to them. They gave her a sensation that she though was similar to a high. Of course, she didn't know what a high was since she had never used drugs or drunk alcohol.
When Lucas mentioned her visiting during vacation her eyes widened and she grinned. Hiding her worry she exclaimed, "I would love that! My family would want me for Christmas but then can deal without out me a few days of February break." Fionna smiled at him. To be honest, she was worried about meeting his family. She had heard a bit about them and how they treated him and she didn't much like it. Fionna thought she might have trouble keeping her cool around them.
Fionna was glad Lucas apologized. He wasn't exactly in the wrong, but it was good to hear it. "That's fine." She said and thought for a moment. She could only think of the one thing that had been bothering her. It was not or never. "Well..." She started, "You could maybe not be mad at me for keeping a secret from you and lying about where I've been going sometimes." Fionna finished trailing off and looking away from his eyes. The necklace turned opal as she said this and she regretted starting it this way.

Lucas was beaming when she said yes. He couldn't stand the idea of being with his family alone after all the time at Hogwarts. Getting back into the routine of it...it now seemed horrible what his parents did now that he was used to being treated properly at Hogwarts. Still, he didn't want to think or talk about that right now, he didn't want Fionna to regret accepting.
Then he stiffened a little bit, but he still held her hand. She wasn't...cheating, was she? That's how it had sounded to his ears. But now, that wasn't like her. Fionna, breaking rules? This he had to hear. He never thought it really possible for such sweet lips as hers to tell lies.
"Oh...okay, yeah." He said, just as mixed feelings as she was. He loved her, of course, and he was concerned. He knew she deserved better, but still, he'd like to think that she'd tell him first if they were breaking up before she did something rash.

He was probably thinking some things but she dived right in. "Well I've been meeting with the Headmistress for lesson." She said figuring to start out with a basic understanding than doing it all at once. "And I've been going off to practice on my own." She added. There, the easy part was said. Now it was time for the hard part.
She took a deep breathe and looked back at him. She said in a rushed voice, "The Headmistress has been giving me animagus lessons so that I can be with you on the full moon. I requested it." Fionna then immediately looked back to the ground worried about how Lucas would react.

Lucas stopped walking, stopped dead in his tracks.
"A-are you serious?" He asked when she was finished. He could tell just from the look on her face that she was. Everything else was wiped from his mind and he just hugged her and held her in his arms.
"You...you would do that for me? R-really? I mean...wow...that's...thank you so much Fionna, but are you sure, I know I'd have the wolfsbane here at Hogwarts so we'd be okay it's just...wow that's...You're amazing, you are."
He kissed her forehead and held both her hands in his so he was looking down into her shining eyes.
"So this means...I can't even believe it! So what animal do you transform into? Can you transform on your own already?"
He was eager to hear all about it. She had no idea what this meant to him, to not be alone on fullmoon. He'd never felt more isolated, more alone, than on full moon when he was truly separated from everyone he knew and cared for, or even hated. Now...now he'd get to spend it with the person closest to him. Was this for real?

Fionna nodded slightly at his question. There didn't seem to be menace or fear in his voice. That was a good sign. Fionna nodded again and her eyes met his and the necklace turned pink again. "Of course. I wouldn't want it any other way." She told him seriously.
Fionna smiled a bit mischievously and said, "See for yourself." Fionna had been focusing on her animagus from the start of the sentence and after the last syllable a white snow leopard that wasn't completely perfect was sitting before Lucas. It walked around Lucas and rubbed him and purred at him. Fionna had figured this would be fine since it was late and nobody would be about. She looked up at Lucas and smiled staying in the form for a bit longer.

Lucas grinned when she said she'd transform. He was expecting something like a cat, or a pet. NOT A HUGE SNOW LEOPARD.
"Oh my gosh!" He yelled, jumping back at first sight, it'd scared him. But he got over the initial shock within a couple seconds and laughed. A few of her spots were off but she was adorable. He knelt on the ground and pat her head, scratching a bit behind her ears.
"That's incredible." He said in utter amazement when she transformed back and he stood up. "I don't even know what to say...No one's done something so...like that for me before."
It was true, he could never think of a time when someone did anything like that, other than Rhiannon rescuing him. But really, she'd done damage as well. He was going to, not forget about it, but just keep that in the back of his mind. He'd remember it as a life lesson. But for now, he wanted to talk to his girlfriend that had just transformed into a huge cat.
"You must've been working so hard, and wow, prefect duties." He shook his head, smiling. "You had me fooled, that's for sure. I love you." The last sentence just slid out of his mouth because he'd been thinking it this whole time.

She was so glad he was ecstatic about this. If she weren't so madly in love with Lucas, her necklace would have been amber for the joy she had in these events.
"You don't have to say a thing. You're expression talks for you." She told him with a bedazzling smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. "A kiss would sum it up though." She said and hugged him and kissed him. She was stealing his kisses more and more often now and she loved them so.
"I love you too and I hated keeping it from you, but I was just so unsure about my ability to be able to achieve it that i didn't want to get your hopes up and have them crashed down with mine as well." Fionna told him. "I've always been a good liar, but hated using that skill especially to people i love." She stayed close to him and hugging him before thinking about what the Headmistress had said last lesson. She hesitated a moment before telling him, "The best part is that the headmistress thinks I might be ready by this upcoming full moon. I have a meeting with her tomorrow to find out. I've been practicing at every moment I could spare." She looked into his eyes truly glad for both her own and his happiness.

Lucas kissed her back, it was bliss, heaven. Fionna had done so much for her, he felt like he owed her far more than he owed Rhi right now. He hugged her when their lips parted and though his brain knew he'd have to, his arms refused to let her go.Nope. They told his heart. We can't ever let this one go.
They were right.
"This full moon? Really!?" There was so much excitement in his voice he could barely contain it. He might've shouted for joy if it weren't so late and he might wake half the castle if he did. His heart was pounding, his eyes were shining with anticipation and he never felt more loved.
"That's in 6 days, I can't wait." He said hopefully. 'thinks I might be ready' didn't mean yes, but the headmaster wouldn't give Fionna false hope, he was sure of that.

"I can't wait either. I'm pretty positive that I'll be able to. I've been practicing so hard." She told him as she squeezed him slightly again. Fionna couldn't help but let a yawn escape her. The tiredness was swarming back at her.
She looked at Lucas and said, "Think we could head back to the common room? I'm getting a bit cold and sleepy and frankly we shouldn't be out this late!" Fionna wanted to stay with Lucas all night but she didn't want to be caught outside the common room. They could of course stay on the couch together. She would like that very much but she wasn't about to suggest it just now.

-4th Year Hufflepuff- Rashid still in shock of what happend invaded his thoughts, the girl..the crazy one no one pays attention to and steers clear of her kissed him. Right on the cheek..I mean, sure..he wasint any prude he's had girlfriends..his fair share of role in the hay back at his family home..but this, this caught him off guard..and he didn't like that..he was never caught off guard. Flames of anger and embarrassment raced up his cheeks, shaking his head he finally made it to the courtyard. Maybe a place he would find company other then "her" the word in his head sounded as ugly as if he said it allowed. Bag held firmly to his side he went to one of the many benches and sat down, Gilbert his red panda taking place by his legs as he thought about his next course of action.

Lucas walked out onto the courtyard with Fionna, seething. Richard had Al in his grasp and there was nothing Lucas or Fionna could do about it. He hated the feeling of being so helpless.
"I don't know what to do either." He said, devastated. There was nothing he could do or say that would change Al's mind.
He hated hurting Al by talking so rude, but it was pretty tame considering he knew what had happened with Fionna.
"I hate seeing her so ignorant." He said angrily, plopping down onto the grass. He was so confused about what to do. He wanted to stop her, to tell Drago, but should he bother? It would just seem like tattling and he didn't want her to hate him even more than she already seemed to right now.
"Should we tell Drago?" He asked, voicing his concerns.

The morning had been wondrous but at the turn of afternoon came a dreadful turn of mood.She wished Richard had never come to Hogwarts or had never been born. Probably the latter. It would save many girls from the torture and heartbreak that he has ensured for Al and probably numerous girls before her. Fionna was just glad she had not fallen into his evil scheme.
She nodded in agreement to Lucas. She needed to be able to see the true Richard, but that would be hard if he was hiding it from her. Trying to win her over. He wondered what his plan was. Could he really be going through all this trouble just to break Al's heart? She couldn't answer that question.
"I don't think so. It might just make things worse." Fionna said in response to Lucas' question. His heart was in the right place but she could see a few outcomes of that. Too many of which are negative. She had a feeling Drago had his own suspicions. He wasn't that ignorant was he? If they told him though Al might dump Drago and go full out for Richard. She didn't want that happening. She just wanted Al to see the truth and then continue her relationship with Drago as if this never happened.

Lucas put his arm around Fionna and sighed, too.
"You're right...I just don't want this to last any longer. She's sweet, but very gullible. I think she'd believe just about anything he told her. Including what he says about us..."
Lucas sighed again. How happy he had been just an hour ago...when he was nuzzled in Fionna's soft fur. He closed his eyes for a moment and let his head sink into the morning dew on the grass. He couldn't bear to talk about this subject anymore.
"Sorry about last night by the way, totally distracted by that squirrel." He said, laughing. He truly couldn't help it, instinct had just kicked in. He wished he were just a wolf animagus or something...then he could've had a lot more fun rather than needing to worry about running off or biting Fionna. He'd have so much more control as an animagus...like a dream.

The mood changed drastically for the better when Lucas brought up last night. She burst out laughing at his statement. Oh the squirrel. She smiled at him and said, "Oh it's alright. I enjoyed tackling you down." Her eyes twinkled and memories from last night and this morning flashed through her mind. It had been so perfect.
