I was reading on the basic info and there was something about word count, what does that mean? I am really confused about these things.

Well when learning a new jutsu there's two components to it. Firstly you need to get a jutsu ticket from your sensei or another higher ranking shinobi. Secondly you need to fill a word count requirement based on the Rank of the jutsu. So say a D-Rank was 300 words, I'd have to type 300 words RPing as my character and attempting to learn said jutsu. Does that clear it up for you?
