Can a Nightmare...
Gatusei waited with the rest in silence for a few moments while Ichi tried to reach out and get in contact with the Immortal Quingfu, she closed her eyes and let her own thoughts roll around inside that wickely calculating brain of hers. Quingfu didn't say anything about actually learning anything like vigor, just that they needed to harmonize with the body. They had master spirit and now they were reversing the situation to strengthen the temple that was known as the body. That being said, there was always the possiblity that what they were expected to do here was condition the body so that they could learn what Ichi was being taught by Lu. With her eyes still closed, Gatsuei suddenly and without warning, snapped her fan closed loudly. "Ichi-kun... why don't we do a little of everything while we're here? We've mastered the spirit, and all we were charged to do by Quingfu was to create Harmony of the Body. If he wanted us to learn something different, wouldn't he have said something? I may be barking up the wrong tree saying this; and I'll give him a chance to reply (if he does so at all) but maybe we should just think of a regiment of physical training to do while we're here... hell, there might be a third or fourth part to this training that we don't know about. Who is to say that he's not going to show us all something at the same time that brings the two aspects of what we learned together as one? If it were just as easy as training the body and soul like what we've been doing... you would have been an immortal a while ago, and so would anyone else who tried to learn how to control their Chakra monsters too. Remember, they have been around for a really, really long time. We have a cave on the Turtle Island that was dedicated to having pervious hosts master their chakra monsters... so it stands to reason that the Chakra monsters have been around a hell of a lot longer than the Immortals have. So... wouldn't it stand to reason that if you mastered your Shukaku -to which you admited that the training thus far has been a lot like your Demon Mastery- that those who also mastered their beasts would have been immortals a long time ago?" Gatsuei opened her eyes to see if the others were following her train of though. "And if it was that easy to become an immortal, then the Immortals now wouldn't be such a big deal, hell, we probably wouldn't have to worry about the Chakra monsters sense the first Shinobi wars. They could have been locked away for the rest of eternity with their former possessers because they performed the training that you did. So it could stand to reason that there is one or more steps left in order for us to achieve the immortality that the immortals were doing. Why don't we focus on physically increasing our stamina and phyical prowless for now and train on whatever you were taught by Lu, we should be able to have it mastered in a year, and if I'm right and there are more steps to it, then we will have a head start on the others as well." Gatsuei didn't know if her logic was taking something and making it too simple or too complex, but it made sense in her mind. Ichi admited that he had been through something similar with other practices. So her logic made sound sense to her, unless she misunderstood something along the way. Perhaps they were thinking too black and white, or maybe it was her. She would wait till Ichi was finished or the others added their too cents before she dedicated herself one way or another. She wasn't saying that Ichi was wrong in any way, she was just suggesting that maybe there was more to this than they were originally present with....Be woven into a beautiful dream?

Kazuki Habaragi
Kazuki took in both of his teammates responses and lowered his head, thinking. After going over it for a moment, Kazuki replied, raising his head back up. "I agree with what you both said. I like Ichi's idea for working together and I also agree with Gatsuei's proposal for what we should do. I'm up for it." Kazuki figured that at this point, they were pretty much on their own. The Immortal's refusal or inability to speak with them proved that. Compared with what they had done in the snowy area, Gatsuei's idea sounded logical to him. He stretched out his muscles again in preparation for training. "What do you guys think we should do first?"

Can a Nightmare...
Gatsuei couldn't help but laugh. "Well, why don't we start with knowing what sort of training that Lu had Ichi do and go from there? Its hard to try and mix something that we know nothing about." Gatsuei looked over at Kazuki for a moment with her hand still waving gently infront of her face, she was putting off going out into the blistering heat so soon, she wasn't even cooled off from when she first got here. She paused and took off her Demon claws and added them to the bundle that she was going to be toting around with her, but at least she was cooler. Back to fanning herself she looked over at Inochi waiting for his response. She wondered if he was even interested in coming with them. She hoped so, they didn't get any chance to get to know each other in the Soul Realm. They were doing there own thing over there, but here they had the opertunity to work on their teamwork... and get a feeling for their jutsu abilities. If they were going to be fighting the sound village, whom had ties with one of the immortals, or at least it seemed that way, she didn't know if the Immortal was using the Otokage, if the Otokage was using the immortal or if they were hand in hand with each other. She closed her eyes and for the first time sense she saw him in the Sound Village, she was starting to wonder about the implications. There was a chance that they were at odds with each other, but if the Sound was really hunting the Immortals then why would the Otokage allow him to just walk out of his lair? It didn't make any sense if they were at odds with each other. She wasn't going to say anything just yet, she didn't know if her assumption was true or not. She opened her eyes and looked at Inochi. "Are you going to come with us, Inochi? We don't bite... well, I don't bite, I'm not sure about these two but I can promise that I at least won't bite hard."...Be woven into a beautiful dream?

Can a Nightmare...
When the training first started it was safe to say that what Ichi told them about Lu’s teaching’s went over her head. She wasn’t sure what he meant when he mentioned that Physical things were ‘Vitality,’ nor did she really understand how energy was different from the Spirit. Well, she had a year to try and figure it out, so she was going to make the most of it. Things were off to a shaky start with the physical training though; being a poor genjutsu type girl and having to climb rock surfaces in a dress was less than what she wanted to do, to top things off even more, it took her twice as long to do half as much as the boys, the strength training literally left her in the dust, but, she kept doing it, and she didn’t cheat or make excuses for herself not to complete them. What may have taken the boys half the day to do would end sometime in the middle of the night for her. But still she kept at it, it was hard to tell if it was iron will or if what drove her was pride, but as the months went by, she slowly caught up with their performance, minute but minute she was able to push ahead a little more from her time yesterday. Second by second she was able shave off that much more and reach her goals that much sooner. Each rock became easier to reach and each leap of faith became easier and easier to do. The more that she worked with these people, the more she trusted them, she was starting to begin to understand what comradely really was, she thought that all that it was, was just a bunch of strangers that you had to protect at the risk of your own life. But, she was learning quickly that they were sharing her triumphs with her, that they were there to encourage her to take that extra little step or suggest where to put her foot next in order to better go for that extra long reach. They were there to brush the sand off her when she was too exhausted to go on and fell flat on her face. In the beginning, she was rather callused to the whole thing, she was sure that she had something to prove to the others and the others had their own stuff to prove. But while they trained, while they sweated and bled for their goal, Gatsuei inched out of her shell little but little and started to actually welcome the interaction. She was still mysterious, she didn’t talk about herself all that much, not because she didn’t trust them, but more because she didn’t think that she had anything interesting to share, spare the odd story that she could relate to when someone told something similar. Was this what it was like to have family? To have bonds like this that created absolute trust between people. There people who spent the year with her, they were her best friends now. She never had anything so precious to herself before, and to be honest, she was getting scared of having those bonds broken, was this what Kazin meant when he said that bonds make one stronger? Or was it the strength that you gained from the fear of losing those who were precious to you that gave you that extra push you might need in the end? She could say for sure. Actually, she felt a little awkward about it, after all, she scoffed and turned her nose up at Kazin when he said as such. She realized now, that she could have goals that aligned herself to be able to stand on her own one day, but she could also do that with friends. She could be strong for herself and for them at the same time.
The days seem to blur one day into the next, Gatsuei pretty well had a routine, her friends would learn quickly that Gatsuei functioned well with a plan and couldn’t stand total improvisation. She needed a routine to make her feel at home and functional, and if it was ever broken she seemed to struggle for the rest of the day in some way or another. She would do that same thing in a weekly rotation; she worked her physical strength with the boys two days in a row, the third and forth day she would work on her flexibility and dexterity, on the fourth and fifth days she would work on stamina and finally the sixth and seven day she would try and master this ‘Vitality’ that Ichi was talking about, to be honest, at first they were more resting days while she gave her poor pushed body a break but eventually when she started to swallow her pride and put aside her stubborn need to be independent, she would ask Ichi for help, and he would learn very quickly that Gatsuei was very hard on herself and boy… could she pout. It took a while for her to break that need to be so hard on herself, she seemed to think that she should be able to get things as quickly if not more so than the others. It was like she needed to feel superior to those around her, or perhaps prove that she was as capable if not more so than the others. She had constantly compared herself to the others, almost seeing them as competition for herself. She did eventually break that bad habit, and when she did she mellowed out quiet a bit (though she still had her moments when she became frustrated when she hit certain road blocks in her training that she just couldn’t get over right away.) What she struggled with most was that this ‘Vitality’ seemed to be made up of aggression, but in her spiritual training, she let go of all that anger, and she continued to practice such. As a result, she was still experimenting with how she could substitute that was in tuned with her spiritual teachings and her need to fulfill this passed on teaching from the Immortal Lu himself. It was something that she wouldn’t get for a while, but eventually, near the end, she got enough to get praised by Ichi, saying that it was very close to what Lu had taught him. She wouldn’t know if the fruits of her labour would result in the exact same thing till later, but right now she was proud of her accomplishments and her substitution that was more aligned with her spiritual awakening. Ichi had guided them along, and in turn she reached out to others who understood this perhaps better than herself when and if the time allowed it. She was starting to get the hang of putting will into her chakra, though she was a far cry from really mastering this just yet, she was starting to get a solid handle on the little tricks of the trade. Lu would probably be screaming at her for bastardizing the process or being slower to pick up on it. But she was doing the best she could while still remaining faithful to what she learned first in the spirit realm.
When it came time for flexibility training, Gatsuei was more than happy to get to it, this was something that she was good at and, quiet frankly, after being shown up by the boys in just about everything else, she was glad to have something that she could do well that the boys weren’t as good with. Perhaps this little stroke of ego was what kept her going some days when the training looked to be pointless, of course, there wasn’t any sort of real arrogance about it, and those who were interested in learning flexibility training were more than welcome to join her (undoubtedly, the first few days after those brave souls joined in the activists, were going to be quiet miserable and sore from the introduction to learning new flexibility exercises and practices). It was also during this time that Gatsuei seemed to recoil into herself in a healthy manner, seeming to be lost within her own practices as she bent, twisted and performed other acrobatic arts and fine tuned them to her need and liking over the course of the year. It was usually after this time and training that Gatsuei was more refreshed and less tired or exhausted, with the other training she usually wore herself out relatively quickly and she usually ended up sleeping shortly after they completed their training… even in the later months when she was caught up almost to what the boys could do, she would still be relatively exhausted. These days were the exception, though she was still quiet and to herself most of the time. It was amazing how one person could turn the art of slaughter into something as elegant as a ballet, but Gatsuei’s style was proving it true.
Speed training was something a little more along the lines of more strength training, she had used a variety of stones, bringing weights into the equation, she used them to strengthen her legs so that she could increase her speed, it was a fairly common practice, though she did this in a way that was more primitive in her approach, even going as far as summoning some shadow clones to help her build a few crude sleds to pull across the terrain, because she was more building speed than strength, she had been a little more gentle with herself at first, so that she wasn’t just building the strength in her legs, but the stamina as well. She, just like with the strength training, was having to push herself little by little to keep up with the boys, if it was just a test of speed, she’d likely be able to keep up, and she did have the advantage of being a girl - her lower body was were her strength was- but she still ended up pushing herself to keep up, if anything, she was persistent.
Six months into the training there was one thing that was bothering her, it was something that Yuzuki said to her when they were in the Spirit realm and they were facing each other for dominance of the body, she had told her that she hadn’t taken the time to try and understand and master. It was the part about the Instinct. When Yuzuki told her that she didn’t tap into it enough and relied too much on logic she didn’t think much of it at the time, she was sure that such a thing was just mindless intimidation tactics from a brutal aspect of herself that was trying to prove a point about how ruthless savagery was the key to victory. But now she was starting to ponder if things weren’t as meaningless as she originally taken them. Perhaps her other self was right in some regard? In the last few months Gatsuei was trying to wrap her brain around what had been said to her and wondered if there wasn’t any sort of wisdom behind those words. After all, she was the Yuzuki of the Yang, or this world… apparently. So maybe she could work on sharpening her instincts in battle, sharpening the sword as Quingfu put it. On they days that she was feeling good enough, she would ask others for a spare, whenever and wherever she could. It was apparent from the get go that she was playing for ‘keeps’ as she made sure to go all out and expect no quarter in turn. She needed to understand what it was that Yuzuki was trying to tell her, and little by little she was beginning to understand. She was use to putting logic into her conflict, by doing so she was creating a barrier between adaptation in battle and simply trying to make her plans work. She liked facing off against Ichi the most, his sand shield that the Shukaku gave him was infuriatingly frustrating to try and get inside of, no matter how she paced herself and how often she tried, she couldn’t get past its defence, even with her Greater Fire Dragon technique, no matter now much she threw at him, he was always ready to counter attack. Little by little, she began to trust her instincts in battle, and the more she practiced and spared with the other, the better she got at it, the better she got at it, the more her mind was at ease in conflict and she could easily and quickly block those moments of doubt and frustration that she seemed to have previous. Instinct didn’t just help her battle prowess though, it was starting to help her get in touch with the Vitality training that Ichi was trying to teach them. She was starting to realize that there was a difference between aggression and rage that she didn’t differentiate between before. She started to grasp Lu’s teaching a little more after that, though she doubted that she could get it fully anytime soon, Ichi’s training was interrupted before it was finished, so at best they were getting a fifty percent lesson that was second hand. It was hard to truly accomplish anything fully with that, though hopefully she would have enough time to figure it out on her own after all this was finished. All then needed to do was thwart the Otokage and his schemes before things got out of hand. The problem was, was that the Sound had few soldiers and many elites, and who knew what other schemes that sneaky b*****d had up his sleeves in case things started to go south, or indeed, to make sure they didn’t go south at all.
It was near the supposed end of the year, though how many more days left wasn’t quiet known to her, and Gatsuei had become quiet the little Amazon with her training. Though she wasn’t bulked out as one might assume, she had become very toned, her body, after spending two years in limbo between the spirit realm and this place, her body had finished maturing into that of a full woman. She wasn’t sure when exactly that the immortals were coming to get them, or if she had more training after this, but Gatsuei was comfortable with things on this end, she had learned to harmonize her instincts with her new and improved body, there was always more to learn, she knew, but for now she was confident that she was ready to take the next steps in whatever the Immortals had planned for them. She found her determination renewed and her iron will polished. She had come too far to fail now. Gatsuei plopped herself down in some nice cool shade to temporarily escape the heat while she caught her breath again. She was having another good work out in her usual routine, she had lost track of the others that were training with her, though she knew that they were nearby. Gatsuei, now lightly tanned and slick with sweat, brought her leg up and rested her forearm on top of her knee. She closed her eyes and smiled as a gentle wind blew across the landscape and cooled the sweat over what flesh she exposed. She opened one of her eyes and leaned her head over her shoulder slightly. ”Hey, how are you boys holding up? Not letting yourself be beaten by a girl now are we?” The taunt was more of a tease to get them all rowlled up. Admittedly, it didn’t usually work as well anymore as it did in the beginning, and usually after she said that she got her come-upances when she quickly discovered that just because she could talk the talk… didn’t necessarily mean that she could walk the walk. There was a few times in the beginning that her enthusiasm wore off quickly and left her stranded for the most part and looking beyond foolish, she just used that as an excuse to do better next time… and to leave her mouth closed during the next regime, lest the boys think she was all bark and no bite....Be woven into a beautiful dream? Kazuki Habaragi
Kazuki wasn't sure what to make of the training they did. Having no better plan than the one Gatsuei came up with, he simply followed hers. Of course, his standards for certain things outranked hers and for most of the beginning Kazuki kept well ahead of Gatsuei and Ichi. Being a close to mid range fighter he found himself right at home working on his body. He had always been pretty thin and muscled but found that as things went on he simply began to become more toned and his already tan skin began to darken even more, almost becoming a dark brown in color. His hair grew out even more than before and he never bothered to fix its length so it continued to his shoulders and slightly past it. He found it didn't interfere with his fighting style or his workout so he basically ignored it. His own body also grew out more, making his shoulders broader and his torso gain more muscle and tone. He grew a little bit taller too, about another inch. By the end of the year, he had gained about 15 pounds. Climbing the rocks usually wasn't enough for the young ninja either. His shirt and pants were a lot easier to climb in than Gatsuei's dress(which he occasionly poked fun at her wearing it, once even saying it was useless in battle) or Ichi's robes so he climbed ahead of the group most often. Many days he ventured out on his own after Gatsuei tired herself out and scrambled up the large rock pillars scattered around the landscape. Sometimes he would climb with a handicap, climbing without an arm or not using chakra while climbing, which he found very difficult and he often came back with numerous scratches and cuts along his arms from climbing. It wasn't until later on that the other two followed him out to the large rock pillars and began to attempt to climb them with him. Ichi could keep up with him relatively easily but Gatsuei took more time to build up the endurance and strength to keep up with them. The flexibility and dexterity training was very difficult for Kazuki however. He had always found that his finesse was very lacking and couldn't follow Gatsuei's graceful movements for months to help himself. He had always found that finesse hadn't been necessary for any of his moves as most were just raw power and not focused power. Probably the only reason Kazuki even considered learning how to gracefully move and attack was to better learn of his Wind element. When Kazuki and Gatsuei sparred he always found that he had the raw strength to overpower her but she had the quick smooth movements to dodge around and strike him. This annoyed him very much but he soon picked up on her movements and was able to block and counterattack her moves. This would be useful if he ever fought another like her. The stamina days were the most exciting for Kazuki. He had come to enjoy pushing his body to its limits and increase his overall strength back when he had trained his pain tolerance. On these days he would quite literally go from dawn to dusk balancing or holding or carrying something around to test his body. Some days he would carry weights on different parts of his body, others he would balance a rock on his head. The others never gave him odd looks and for this he thanked them. The final days of the week he focused on training whatever the heck this whole idea that 'The body is the temple for the soul'. He found this was mainly meditation on his body. It was a strange process where he felt like he addressed himself and his own being. During the training Kazuki found himself talking to the others a lot. The others were interesting to him. He constantly talked to Gatsuei and Ichi about all sorts of things, sometimes only one person spoke while the other listened. He did discover some things about both of his friends. Gatsuei was(as he had predicted) a very prideful person. She hated to lose to others and look weak or helpless in front of others. She also very rarely spoke about herself. Kazuki had to pry things out of her all of the time and many times he would get fed up and sulk off for a while. He never gave up though and would always bring things back up. On the days he meditated he found that his 'soul' always would bring her up and how it expressed its need to know more about her. Kazuki could commonly be seen sweating from some of those thoughts, leaving the others to try to figure out what was going on in his head. Ichi was completely different. He was pretty open with his thoughts and would answer almost any question without a second thought. Some questions he didn't have an answer or he didn't want to give one as it was embarrassing for him. Gatsuei constantly seemed to like to exploit this weakness which Kazuki just kind of pitied the boy for. He learned quickly Gatsuei could throw verbal daggers quite easily once she found out what you were sensitive to or what made you feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately Kazuki found himself picking up the same ability. He had remembered that his mother had used to say that your friends make you who you are as well as you make your friends who you are. She had been right. Though he quickly found out that Gatsuei was a word demon and could spew sentences that made his skin crawl as well as Ichi's and that he would need some time to become as skilled as she was. There was a certain point in Kazuki's training that he found that his body wasn't making any significant gains. It just felt like he was retaining his current state of being. In fact, his whole existence had suddenly felt like the only thing he did was train. This prompted a strange reaction once Kazuki discovered this about himself. He took a four day meditation break where he addressed himself. In this area, he found that instead of his 'spirit' speakin to him, it was his 'body'. Here his visions seemed to reverse, with his conscious being in the body of the dragon person and he was looking at his own body. It spoke of what it wanted and what it was doing. Kazuki listened carefully and would agree to take into consideration of what his body felt and wanted. He made a huge distinction from his body and his spirit. His spirit had wanted him to know of its existence and to acknowledge and accept it, whereas the body was different. Instead of going through a complex process of using metaphors and riddles to get its message across it spoke to Kazuki straight up, telling him what it wanted and what it required. That was all. Although Kazuki was grateful for this simplicity he found it was lacking from the spirit's conversations. He liked the intelectual and philosophical discussions his spirit and he had conversed of. He figured this was neccesary though as he guessed later on that both of these parts would be combined thereby making a complete and balanced force. When he found his stamina had reached a peak, he began to work on his speed. He began to weight himself for everything he did, from climbing up the rocks to following Gatsuei's graceful movements to sparring with both of them(which became incredibly hard with extra weight, Gatsuei actually wondered aloud once if he was ok with getting his a** kicked like this) and after about two weeks of this he decided to remove them for a day. On that one day, everything he did was amazingly quick. He climbed the rock in a record time before the other two were about a fourth of the way up. He sparred with both of them at the same time and actually found that he moved too fast for Gatsuei to register and then proceeded to outmanuver Ichi's sand shield enough to land a solid punch to him. The very next day, even though both of his friends suggested that he was as good as he was going to get, he doubled the previous weight. He only did this for a week before he removed them though. After that his speed effectively almost tripled but as he left it out He settled for this as he was pretty happy he was able to get that high. After a few months had gone by, Kazuki had begun to notice that his body began to speak of his fighting style. He questioned this topic and found that his style was very unrefined. He really had recieved little to no real taijutsu training other than the little he had done with his father with raiken style or "shocking fist". Now that his speed was up to par he figured he should begin with that. So when he found free days he would either go into the wilderness and make a clone to fight with or practice on or ask one of the others to practice sparring with, strictly using taijutsu and then only raiken style. Kazuki found this to be incredibly difficult as he loved to incorporate kicks into his battles when the opportunity arose. Unfortunately, raiken never called for kicking to be used, it was all arms. This felt hampering to Kazuki and he began to use kicks even though the style didn't call for it. He effectively found a way to include it though and began to fight that way. As the end of the year began to crawl nearer, Kazuki began to take notice of more than his new found abilities. He also noticed the others and how they had matured. Gatsuei was no longer a girl but a full blown woman and Kazuki had begun to take notice. He kept his feelings to himself though. Even after all their work over the past year, he felt it wasn't a good idea to just come out of the closet and belt out his feelings. Besides he didn't think she would approve of him just yet. His spirit and body seemed to agree and so he kept it to himself. But even as he was tired one day after the usual day of training and she called out her taunt. He had been breathing hard and had his hands on his knees, bent over, recovering his breath. When he heard her though, he suddenly regained his composure instantly. He wasn't quite sure what happened but he stood up, walked over to where she was resting and sat down next to her in the shade. As he sat down he entered a sort of weird vision. His body and spirit both simultaneously appeared and told him the same phrase-'Now was the time'. Even though Kazuki felt like the entire exchange of one phrase lasted several hours as he pondered what to make of this in his 'dreamscape', the whole process lasted about 10 seconds. By the time Kazuki knew where he was again, he was back in place, sitting next to her. His gaze couldn't fall on her. He was way too nervous at this point. Instead his gaze was pointed toward the landscape, watching the heat simmer across the surface of the ground in waves. His sweat wouldn't cool as he found that he had begun to sweat again, this time not from the training but from keeping in those words. His lips seemed to work themselves to find the words but couldn't seem to. He probably sat there for about 5 minutes during this time, staying completely silent and continuing to sweat. Finally, he found the will to speak-"I'm completely fine. You should probably check yourself first. After all, if you aren't still sweating from that workout then maybe you didn't try hard enough. In other words, the day you beat me will be the day I kiss the bottom of your feet. That though will undoubtedly never happen." This surprised the hell out of Kazuki. This girl must have had a bigger effect on him than he imagined. The Kazuki from before this training would have never spoken like that. Yet those words had rolled off of his tongue as easily as the sweat flowed from his pores right now. What should he do now? Could he take it back? Could he just laugh and say 'just kidding, I'm not actually like that'? Should he just leave her now? Or maybe just stay silent..... Kazuki came out of his daze again. He glanced to her for a second. She hadn't moved. Had what he just said been a dream? What should he say now? Was this even real? He reached up and pinched his arm. Nope, he wasn't dreaming. That definitely stung a little bit. He raised his gaze to her face. She hadn't faced him yet. Should he say it? Would now truly be the best time? His thoughts once again raced with ideas, some of them really weird some of them really crazy, but only one seemed to him to be the right go ahead. "Still resorting to taunts? Really? And you went to that one? We both know by now that I and Ichi both can be shown up by you. And to be completely honest, I don't mind being beaten by you. It just makes me more interested on how you did it and how I can beat you next time. And for that, your amazing and I thank you." Kazuki smiled as he spoke. He had only just begun to start to complement Gatsuei about a month before this. He really hadn't gotten a reaction of her that he found favorable yet but maybe he hadn't done it enough yet. She might not be used to it and Kazuki figured that the only way he could fix that would be to start so she could begin to accept them from others and maybe gain some more pride for herself in the process. He enjoyed the conversations they produced as they most often had led to Gatsuei opening up a little bit more. Kazuki hungered for those moments. It told him that his efforts were being rewarded and that the tree that he was slowing grooming was beginning to bud and flower. Eventually he hoped that it would be pretty and bear fruit and therefore acknowledge him and reward him back for his own labor. In his mind he sighed. He hoped they would be together for a while longer. He enjoyed these tests and his new found friends. He could finally call some of his friends really close. It was something he had looked forward to for a while. Now he could focus more and have an even greater reason to help them and protect them later on.((Vitality Training complete-2518/2500))

Can a Nightmare...
A newly dusted, soft and delicate looking barefoot was thrust into the vision of Kazuki, the toes at the ends wiggled, and the owner of the foot looked at the boy and quirked an eyebrow with a devoiusly pleased smile on her face. Without words she had claimed victory for herself and gave her own little jab back at Kazuki. "Clearly if I'm not sweating anymore, and I kept up with you -and you by extention are tired keeping up with me- then I have clearly surpassed your abilities, so pucker up buttercup." Her grin had a sly undertone as she raised her other knee and placed her arm across it, and in turn, then her chin to rest upon that, mindful of what she had on. "And if anything you owe me royalities for mopping the floor with you in a number of our countless spars. So... not only is your boost null and voided, you just dug yourself into a hole of debt." Teasing once more she wiggled her toes, as if she was waiting for what he claimed he was going to do, she didn't expect him to follow through and wouldn't make him, instead the ball of her foot pushed on his cheek gently as she lowered her foot and took up a more relaxed state once more. His next words made her other eyebrow raise a little and the smug look to fall off her face, instead replaced with one of more... stoic? She wasn't used to hearing such compliments before she came here, and in the past month Kazuki was really starting to heap on the praise, it almost made her suspicious of why he was doing this all of a sudden, part of her expected that he was going to ask her to do something, stoking her pride so that she was more likely to not back down from his challenge. A smaller part of her was wondering if he had done something that he shouldn't have that she wasn't aware of, and that he thought that she was. Like a small child sucking up to a parent to hopefully lessen the impact of the punishment by doing good things to make up for it. Usually he just did it to get more of a glimpse of what she was protecting inside of herself. She didn't know if that was manipulation of some kind or just a strategic way for her to open up to him. She chose to believe the latter, he didn't seem like someone who would manipulate his friends. A few years ago, she would have done it, but she didn't expect Kazuki to be like her in anyway. He was a lot more sincer when it came to his actions and words. Though she had been teaching him some bad habits as of late. She like the quick witted quips that came back at her from the others, it kept her on her toes.
But this time, he seemed... different than what he was usually was. Decidingly distant and yet he was close by, as if steeling himself for something, she noted the habit when he was mentally preparing himself for doing something new that he never tried before or before he challanged himself to do better than he did yesterday, Gatsuei, being as romantically retarded as she was, didn't even think that this was because he had an interest in her at all, she assumed that he was going to ask her to try something new and was mentally getting into 'the zone' so that he could attempt to leave her in the dust. When he finished praising her, she was looking at him with her head tilted slightly to the right, trying to get a read on the man that sat beside her. She had learned a lot of his little habits and quirks that his body language presented when he was feeling certain emotions, it was appart of her verbal warfare, it was much easier to pick up on sudden and scything words when the shock of what was said regeistered on the body. From there she could poke and prod and lure her foes into careless rage and abandon. But this wasn't conflict, this was something else entirely. "Thank you, and I do know that I am amazing." Gatsuei responded playfully as he arrogently flicked her hair out. Her face became that of amusement, she tilted her head away from him, though still kept her eyes on his face. trying to be interestedly disinterested in what he was going to ultimently challange her too. "It's nice to know that there are still some boys out there who are humble in defeat. But I can't share my little secrets, you might use them to try and beat me with them the next time we are head to head against each other." Ah innocents.... or was it ignorance? It was hard to tell at times with Gatsuei, after all, she wasn't sure what to look for, having never really been in the position where someone was flirting with her, or trying to manuouver into a position to try and persuaid her into a romantic affair with the oblivious Kunoichi. Like a blind Wilderbeast at the watering hole, she was unware of what was laying underneith, waiting to pounce. Perhaps better for those who were waiting. Gatsuei was most likely going to need something a little more... direct. Outside eyes might pick up on the distant love interest of Kazuki, but Gatsuei was not....Be woven into a beautiful dream?

Kazuki Habaragi
Kazuki almost flinched as a foot was thrust into his face. As she began to speak he slowly moved his head to look at hers. Her words were classic, another simple retort and a poke at his failures. Her position normally would have made him turn in embarrassment but this time he felt himself lingering on her image. It was playful and teasing. She was just messing with him, as usual. He moved his head slightly as she poked his face with her foot and she placed it back down. He was very glad that his praise made her expression change, though he didn't show it. That change in her face meant his efforts were working. It also showed him that she was thinking about his words, not just taking them in stride. His face beamed as she accepted the comment. But dropped a bit when he noticed her face. It was her 'mildly amused' face, the one she made when she didn't really care what you said after that. Her next comment proved his thoughts. His mind was racking his thoughts again. Obviously she was either teasing with him, or waiting until he had the balls to speak up about what his feelings were. Regardless, he needed to make a move. He took a deep breath and let it out. He faced her and locked his gaze into hers. "Well, I aim to be humble in another way right now then. I'd much rather be working together with you than against you. Even though I find the former to be very entertaining." He reached down and took her hand in his own as he spoke. "What I guess I'm trying to say is that I like you, like the way Ichi and Kiko do."

Can a Nightmare...
Gatsuei was frozen at the moment, caught between her former and old self, whom the latter wanted to put this mans head throught the rocks for taking her hand in his and wanting a relationship like Kiko and Ichi. The aspect that wanted change was... flattered to say the least, she was never the object of such an exchange before, either because of her personality or because she was just not... 'cool' enough in school she supposed. She never really had any admirers (at least that she knew of), and the sudden shock of it had taken Gatsuei by surprise, lowering her guard when approached. For the first few minutes, she was like a deer caught in head lights, not sure what to say or do, not sure what she wanted or desired. The way he was holding her and looking at her for a response made her almost a little uncomfortable. What did she want? She wasn't sure if she was willing to give up her freedoms as an individual just yet, she wasn't sure where he stood either in a relationship. She didn't need to be protected, she wanted to learn how to stand on her own again -she didn't mind the thought of others being behind her, waiting to catch her if she fell- and having someone constantly there was something that she wasn't sure that she was comfortable with. With the time that she had spent with him, she was comfortable that Kazuki wouldn't take advantage of her for whatever reason. He wouldn't force himself on her and she had a feeling that the relationship would be like Kiko and Ichi, gentle, passionate... almost dreamlike in it's existence. Still, he didn't know that much about her, what if he found out who Yuzuki really was, a traitor, a backstabber, a warmonger, a puppeteer and hatemonger. She may not be those things now, but she wasn't sure if she would be called upon to become those things. She wasn't sure if she was ready to abandon her dreams in favour of new ones... or ask Kazuki to do the same for hers. What should she do? What would be the best responce for how she felt and the uncertainty that was coming from this? She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it abruptly, not sure if she could from the words for what she wasn't sure about, and still keep the friendship that she had forged with this man. Yuzuki would have hurtled insults at him, calling him weak for such yearnings, but was he so wrong with those needs and wants? Was he not justified in asking for something of a companionship in a woman? Had she even collected enough of her soul and put it back together to be concidered human again? Could she even be the woman that he envisioned this with?
Gatsuei gently pulled her hand out of his and stood up, the conflict was in her eyes and she stood up, taking a a few steps back and crossing her arms under her chest. She turned her back to him, she didn't walk away, she knew what it felt like to have someone do that to you, it happened with her and Kishi. She at least owed him an explaintion and a chance to either conferm or deny what she was thinking. "I cannot guarentee the path beyond is what you are looking for, I don't have the answer that will ensure that you will be happy with the future that you would have with me. I will not abandon the path that I desire, but if your willing to walk this path with me then you should know something." Gatsuei turned around and looked at Kazuki in the eyes again. It was hard to tell if they could get a relationship out of this, he didn't even know her true name, he didn't understand the depth she would go to in order to fulfill her dreams. It may make her a monster, it may totally shock and destroy the image that he seemed to have of her. She had only shown him 'Gatsuei' and he had yet to get a good taste of what Yuzuki was really like. There was no guarentee that she wouldn't become her again, either out of necessity or want and desire. "I cannot deny that... I find you attractive... but I am still sorting through getting my faith back in humanity... and as such, I have many worries about what will become of this. There may be times when I must do things that you may not be morally aligned with to obtain my dreams and goals. If you are willing to claim a future that you may not desire, then I think that I can walk into the future with you. I will never use the word 'Forever' I simply don't believe in it's concept. Things and people change as time and experience flows by and shapes them. Knowing this, and knowing that what may come out of this could fall far short of the relationship with Kiko and Ichi that you compared your feeling too, are you sure that you want to risk what we have forged this past year for taking this relationship one more step beyond?"
Her hypnotic gaze was transfixed on Kazuki for his final answer, she wasn't going to promise him anything out of what he wanted like many others did, and she wanted him to think hard about this choice that he was going to make. Something beautiful might come out of it, or something destructive and hidious. She wasn't sure the depth of what was inside of her, she didn't have a full understanding of what monsters and demons lay still sleeping inside her soul. She would give him a chance, if that was what he truely wanted, and although she was nervous she would take some first steps on this path. She wouldn't give him a false hope, nor would she destroy the hope he seemed to have either, as a friend, she honour that much for him. "If you need some time to ponder what I said over, then I understand. This is a big choice for someone who only knew another for a year and a little bit."...Be woven into a beautiful dream?

((This is Just self post so you don't need to read it, its more just a post of Ichi thinking to himself, I will underline anything directed towards one of you))
As the others continued there training Ichi had remained under the cover that he had made; he was sure that the training that he had done with the immortal was what the others were doing here, so there was nothing for the boy to train, however there was still things he could do; there were a number of Jutsu that Ichi had not been able to train in the past due to him not being able to work with the demon that he had inside of him; that and the fact that without being able to use the chakra of the tailed beast himself, the Jutsu that he had read that the 5th Kazekage had used would have drained them as quickly as it had the old Kazekage. But now with the Usage of Shukaku's own chakra as well as his own and whatever he gained from this training, Ichi was sure that he would be able to do the two final Jutsu that he wanted to learn, and what better place to practice and train these then at the dessert, which they happened to be in at this very moment.
Ichi's thought process was broken slightly as he heard Kazuki speak about Ichi and Kiko's relationship, He knew that they had a good relationship; but form what Kazuki and Yuzuki both said. It almost sounded like a Rare thing to have one as nice as there own. As this conversation continued Ichi couldn't help but blush slightly; he was still the same Ichi that had been scared of... well... just about everything; not to the same extent anymore; but there were things that still made Ichi feel odd. However as they continued to talk Ichi went back to his thinking about the Jutsu that he wanted to learn; they were essentially supped up versions of Jutsu that he already knew; but with the amount that they were supped up, It would take a good deal of practice in order to be able to move the amount of Sand that was needed in order to complete the Jutsu without hassle, but hopefully with the amount of time they still had left over here in this area Ichi would be able to learn the control of the sand to allow him to use these Jutsu without much, if any hassle, and from what he had read from the Library that his grand parents had had back in the village hidden in the sand, as well as what he had heard from Shukaku; who Ichi had been speaking to internally a fairly good amount. Ichi knew that it would be a good deal of training, and a lot of hard work before he was able to do what he wanted too.
Even though Ichi was doing his best to keep focused on what it was that he was doing; and theory crafting the Jutsu in his head; he was actually waiting to hear what Kazuki was going to say to Yuzuki. Even though the two of them didn't talk much Ichi was still Kazuki's friend, and now with Yuzuki being his friend as well Ichi wanted the best to happen for each of them; and if they were in a relationship, and it did turn out to be as good as the one that Ichi and Kiko had, he knew that it would be one of the best things that could happen to both of them.

((This is Just self post so you don't need to read it, its more just a post of Ichi thinking to himself, I will underline anything directed towards one of you))
Ichi remained standing there listening to the others talking, but as he did so he might as well get as much training done as he could; As he stood there Ichi pulled the scroll’s that were filled with the Iron sand, one at a time however due to him being single armed, and letting the Remaining Iron sand out of the scrolls as he stood there, With him being able to control the Normal Sand there was no point in Ichi carrying around the Iron sand, so as long as Shukaku was still working with him he wouldn’t need to lug the scrolls around with him, instead Ichi would fill the two scrolls with as much normal sand as he could before the group left this area. Meaning if things hit the fan and they got into a big fight; he wouldn’t need to spend as much time getting the ground around him turned into sand, and he would just be able to release the sand that was locked into the scrolls giving him instantly enough sand to just most of his Jutsu as well as still having enough to be able to use the left over sand in order to start turning the surrounding dirt and stone in the area around them back into sand, or into sand for the first time letting him over time be able to use the Sand Tsunami which required a rather (And by rather I mean a metric Crap load) of sand in order to use; and the two that he was going to be learning after this were two that needed even more than the sand Tsunami.
As Ichi released the Iron sand from the scrolls Ichi sent it scattering into the area around them, he didn’t need it at the moment; and even if he did need more later on he would be able to make more of it; after all there was always exes weapons, armor and or tools sitting around a battle field that he was always able to turn back into more Iron sand if needed. Once Ichi had done that he looked around on the ground around himself; there were a few grains of loose sand just being blown across the stone ground that they stood on; of course they had landed on a stone section of the area they were in; meaning there was no sand in the general area, but at least there were those grains which he could use to make even more sand, which would then make a snowball effect, a few, turned into some, and then the some turned into a lot, and so on and so on. With that Ichi put his hand out pointed it at the few grains; it wasn’t needed but it was an old habit from back when Ichi needed to focus in order to use the sand that Shukaku was in control of, as he did that the sand grains on the ground paused; floating in mid air; defying the wind that was blowing around it. If there was anything that he was going to do; it was finish this training and learn these Jutsu; It was something that even the first person to seemingly master Shukaku had never been able to actually master himself; he had made it useable; but not practical.
As Ichi stood there his hand pointed out to the sand grains in front of him. They slowly pushed there way into the stone under foot; now working on turning the Stone and dirt underfoot into more sand to be usable in order to train with, Ichi didn’t even need to focus on it after all Shukaku now did what he wanted him too; no more fighting, no more arguing, no more mental wrestling matches against the sand formed tailed beast that lived inside of him, no more worrying constantly if he would be able to control the tailed beast inside of him or not. None of it, Ichi simply had to think about something; and Shukaku instantly knew what he wanted, and did it. Sometimes he still argued a bit or chastised Ichi about his thought process, but none the less, disliked or not the demon still did it without second thought; and due to the fact that the conversation between Ichi and the demon happened as fast, or maybe even faster than he could think even if they had a whole conversation no one would ever notice; they shared a body or maybe even their souls to some point, that maybe Ichi didn’t even need to think about it; it would make sense with the fact that sometimes the Sand actually acted doing exactly what he wanted it to before he had even thought about it; so either Shukaku and himself thought alike to the point Shukaku at times knew what Ichi wanted before he did’ or the demon simply knew WHAT he wanted before he actually wanted it.
It didn’t matter as long as Ichi and Shukaku where working together and not against each other, he had to follow what Lu and Li (As well as the old 8 tail host who’s name I can’t remember) had both told him to do, do the right thing; and make sure that you help everyone else; even if they didn’t want to help themselves. So Ichi was going to train this; so he could protect everyone once he got out who was currently protecting the tower that they were in, and allowing Ichi to complete the training that he was doing at the moment. Ichi paused slightly as he lingered on that thought; Kiko was outside this tower after all (Ichi doesn’t know she entered after he did) and he didn’t know if there was a battle going on or not; he knew that Kiko said she would be the one to protect him, but he was a demon host; if he was so feared before there must have been a good reason for it; and he was going to use the same power that the people of the village hidden in the sand were scared of; in order to make sure nothing happened to Kiko; and with that the sand that Ichi had sent underground continued to work; Ichi could feel jut because of how much of his chakra was being sent underground. However due to the area that they were in and the training they were currently doing Ichi didn’t feel as though any of his chakra was being used at all; or more accurately, it was being refreshed just as quickly as he was using it. This whole time Ichi not even noticing that the ground that the sand was under was letting off a faint glow, after all they were able to see the chakra that they and the others were using while in this area, so why wouldn’t the ground that had Ichi’s chakra flowing under it glow slightly with chakra?
This whole time Ichi wanted to tell Yuzuki that you didn’t need to know somebody for a long time to know that you liked them; Yes it took Ichi almost 2 years to actually become officially Kiko’s boyfriend but that was with Ichi; the same Ichi who had been scared by Kiko at first, embraced by Shatta in the Udai Ninja’s headquarters; and would have never thought about being In a relationship. Ichi only being able to say it after spending time and training with Lu….. Saito, whichever his real name was. But Ichi was more comfortable with Kiko after only a few months then he had been with any of his team mates, or even Hiyo, and he had been the first person that Ichi had actually opened up to slightly, actually talking to him willfully and not needing to be coaxed into conversation. So the fact that that the two of them had only known each other for a little more than a year didn’t really mean much.

Kazuki Habaragi
Kazuki watched her as she stepped back from him. He wasn't sure what to gauge from her reaction until she began to speak. Though far before that he could tell she was shocked from his coming out. He didn't even have to check on her chakra with his kekkei genkai. He could tell it was fluctuating like a wildfire. He remained silent while he awaited her response.
After she finished he remained still, but closed his eyes as if she could see his thoughts as he sorted through them. What was his reason? Did he have a reason? He remembered that his father had sat him down when he was younger and told him about women and the entire world of infatuation as he knew it to be. At the time Kazuki hadn't understood a lick of it, but now he found that his reason was simple-he liked her. It was that easy, yes, but at the same time it was so much more complicated. He honestly couldn't explain it to himself if he tried to, much less put it into words to tell her. Her words made him think as well about her though. His old thoughts about her hiding things from him came back from in the back of his mind. Should he follow her still? Kazuki opened his eyes and looked at her. His eyes had seemed to change, becoming more distant, as if they could see into the future. "Are you afraid of my judgement? What do you think I am? You should know that if I make a decision that I'll stick by it. That means that I will stick by my feelings for you. BUT I want to make this clear. We will not be like Kiko and Ichi. Your completely different from Kiko and have a different look on life as a whole. At the same time, I'm not like Ichi either. I do not hide my feelings and am a lot more vocal about things. The only thing I hope to take from their relationship is to care for each other as much as they do. I understand that your new to this whole idea. So am I. So all I want to get across is that we will work on this as it comes up. Agreed?" At the end of this he held out his hand to her.

Can a Nightmare...
There was silence from Gatsuei, she wasn't sure what she should do, she wasn't really sure what she wanted either. Kazuki was waiting for her to take his hand so that they could agree to go forwards together. His tone and the way he addressed her gave her some cold comfort or even a bittersweet feeling, like he wasn't quiet grasping what she was getting at, or what she was trying to say. It wasn't him that she was worried about, it was more on her end. On top of that, she was just afraid of letting someone get that close to her, hell the last person she tried getting that close to tried to kill her. Was it better to be alone? Was it better in that nobody had a chance to hurt you? Ichi didn't think so, but she wasn't Ichi, and she was still new to the idea of getting close to people. She had got close to the others that were training with her that last year, but at the same time, she was comfortable where she was, she wasn't sure if she wanted to risk a friendship like theirs. They were immortal, that was a hell of a long time to carry a bitterness about a break up, and she was unsure if he was truely ready for her level of ideals yet. He seemed to think that her goals were simply happiness and harmony, that what she set out to do was something that could be 'worked on when it came up'. It wasn't that simple, and sometimes things were made in the split second choice, if she wasn't careful, she might lose a window of opertunity that she would never be able to get back again. She liked being free, she liked having a chance to gamble and risk things on whim and choice. She didn't want to be burdened with having to talk about things that needed to be done because she was appart of a couple. Gatsuei's eyes turned to the side and she raised her clenched hand up to her sternum. She wished, that she could feel for herself what Ichi felt when he was with Kiko, or vice versa before she made her choice. She wished to know if those feelings were worth what might come about and end bitterly, perhaps even violently and tragically. If they stayed friends and something like that came up, perhaps they could somehow mend it over time, she wasn't sure if it was that easy to mend this thing they called love. Her gaze turned to his waiting palm. Her eyes then quickly darted towards Ichi who seemed to be waiting patiently for them for one thing or another. There was one thing that was stopping her right now, one thing that she just couldn't let go of just yet and it was more precious to Gatsuei than anything else in the world. It was the thing that stopped her from joining the Sound. It was the thing that drove her to the brink of madness. It was the thing that almost caused her to destroy the Village in the Clouds. It was the thing that she had a second chance at possessing, but was taken away when she was conscripted into the ANBU.
It was her freedom.
She was selfish, but she didn't want to give it up, she wanted to know what it was truely like to not be bound to someone, to not have to caged and roped to anothers cause and ambitions, she wanted it... she needed it. The freedom to make mistakes, the freedom to truely choose between good and evil and not have to worry about the reprocussions if she decided that she didn't like the road that she was traveling down. She didn't want to have to ask anothers permission to be whom she wanted to be, she wanted to experiment on her own till she got that combination that was just right for her, for better or worse, for good or evil. She wasn't something that was to be worked on. The more she thought about those words the more she hardened herself to the idea. No, Ichi and his feelings for Kiko couldn't help her with this. This was something that she would need to be deciding on herself. Though when she thought about it like that, it was going to be her first choice that she made freely of her own accord. She looked at his hand again, she might like it, she might not, she might have a whole new perspective on things, but then again her vision might be clouded again because of it. She steeled herself for a moment and slowly reached her hand out for a moment, paused, then returned it to the fist at her sternum. She closed her eyes and lowered her head. "I'm... sorry Kazuki-kun... but... I don't think I'm ready for something like this just yet." Was this why... Kishi rejected her? Was this his feelings on her? Was he afraid to lose his freedom too and that's why he rejected her? Perhaps and perhaps not, she would likely never know and she was not sure if she would ever find out. But this choice wasn't based on Kishi, this was her own choice, she wanted to be truely free for a while till she decided on whether she wanted to get involved with another. Besides that... she was an ANBU in training, she may be an immortal, she may even have the power to get the seal removed from her tongue and be able to become an Indepentant ninja after this. She wanted that, she wanted to see the stars the way she wanted them instead of having no choice in the matter. She may never have another approach her like this ever again, but her loneliness was something that she was comfortable with, being with another all the time, that she wasn't use to fully just yet. Once more she turned her back to Kazuki. "I'm sorry, Kazuki-kun."
What more could she say, really? She didn't want to put salt in an open wound by showering him with a sympathy that he probably wouldn't want or need. Besides... there was someone else, she supposed. She knew that it was one sided, but she couldn't help it, and she didn't want to feel like either she or Kazuki was just a second runner up to fill in for another person. "This is just the way it's going to be, its just... better to be alone, that way nobody can hurt you. I've lived this long without someone, and I'm not sure if I'm willing to sacrifice that comfort I have in solitude and loneliness. Not yet, anyway." Kazuki would find someone better than she was, someone who didn't have demons as deep as hers, someone who could be open and pure where she would have to continuously hide in the shadows. The sound might still be after her after this, too. She didn't know, and she wasn't willing to put someone else in a position like that because of her mistakes....Be woven into a beautiful dream?

((This is Just self post so you don't need to read it, its more just a post of Ichi thinking to himself, I will underline anything directed towards one of you))
As Ichi remained standing there, using the sand that was sent underground to create more and more sand that was usable for training that he was going to be doing once the others where finished talking to one another; actually he didn’t even need to wait for them, he could start his own training. Ichi then muttered something under his breath slightly. It was something about along the lines of Ichi wondering if Kazuki knew that Ichi was still standing there. You shouldn’t really point out people’s flaws or talk negatively about them unless you were telling it to them, themselves. But Ichi wasn’t going to complain; it wasn’t his conversation to barge into. It was simply between Kazuki and Yuzuki. He did wonder however it would work between the two of them ( If Yuzuki even agreed to the relationship ) with the fact that Kazuki didn’t even know who Yuzuki really was. He knew she was an Anbu; and one from cloud. But he had no idea her real name was Yuzuki, or what she had done. Ichi knew that Kazuki wasn’t shallow but what would he do, if he knew that Yuzuki had intentionally tried to break Ichi and Kiko up and had released Shukaku. She wasn’t the same Yuzuki as before but still. It was something that might interfere later on in their relationship if they did in fact get one. As Ichi thought about this he kept using the sand that was under the stone under their feet to turn the ground that was a few layers deep, meaning that they were still able to stand on solid stone even when Ichi removed the sand from under that; leaving the stone thick enough that it wouldn’t fall in on itself after the sand under it had been taken away by the young Demon host. All in all Ichi’s training had actually already begun; the most sand that he made the more sand Ichi was getting practice moving, unlike a small shield of sand like what Shukaku always had around him and used instantly; it seemed the more sand that was being used the more effort; or at least, he had to put SOME effort into it. It was more likely due to the fact that with such a large attack or volume of moving sand it was more like throwing a grenade, Ichi gave the general area that the jutsu was going to target, and then Shukaku took back over once more; releasing the whole Jutsu. So Ichi didn’t really NEED to use the Jutsu himself he was more of a GPS of sorts. He gave directions of where to attack, and what was the target; and Ichi just made sure that the attack was going to the right place; so other than that Shukaku was still in control of the sand; that was unless Ichi decided to take it over again; which he knew he could do after all he had done it before.
As Ichi continued to create the sand underground he waited to hear Yuzuki’s reply, after all they were both his friends, that and he was going to be with them until they were taken from here; and that could be months; after all it was hard to tell how long you had been here. All Ichi knew was that the more they talked about relationships, the more Ichi was missing Kiko; he had spent over a year away from her; and was going to have another year away from her, so a minimum of two years away from her, and that was only if there was nothing more after this; and then it dawned on Ichi… he was training to become and Immortal; and Kiko wasn’t (Remember he doesn’t know that Kiko had entered the training area after he had); and if being an immortal like Lu and Li was the same as what the word immortal meant, then he was going live forever, and just the thought of living forever with Kiko made a sharp pain much like getting stabbed pulsed over his chest, he didn’t want to think about it; he couldn’t think about it. And with that Ichi shook his head not having noticed that his eyes had started to tear up. So after that Ichi shook his head slightly and wiped his eyes with his hand. As he wiped the thought from his head about losing Kiko, Ichi wondered what it was that she was doing right now outside the tower, getting information from the immortals, training for a battle that might happen when Sound or whoever it was who was against the immortals attacked the tower, or was that battle already going on and they were already fighting in order to protect Ichi and the others who were learning how to become the next batch of immortals. Ichi continued to feel the amount of chakra being used underfoot grow and grow; he was almost amazed however about the fact that his chakra returned quicker than he could use it; he didn’t know if it was the training of the location; but at least for the moment chakra usage wasn’t going to be an issue while they were here. So even with the constant increase in chakra usage Ichi wasn’t drained in the least; he most likely wouldn’t have felt drained from the chakra loss anyways with the extra chakra reserves of Shukaku In his position. But he still would have FELT at least something. However once Ichi heard what Yuzuki had said Ichi felt slightly sorry for Kazuki, but at least Yuzuki had been nice about how she had gone about telling him that she wasn’t ready. Ichi just remained there increasing the sand underfoot, he almost had enough to start his own training but until then he would remain there silent, if things didn’t go back now that this had happened he was going to offer the two of them a way to train the same time he was.

Kazuki Habaragi
Kazuki closed his hand into a fist and slowly brought it down to his side. His feelings were gone at that moment. But that moment seemed to last for a long time, almost as if Kazuki could stand there for another year. Of course he had to move on. The mumbling of Ichi seemed to bring him back to the real world and he looked away from Gatsuei. His eyes stung as he turned away. His mouth could form no words to her right now. He wasn't even sure on how he felt at the moment. He got up and walked toward Ichi and stopped for a moment outside of his sand. He spoke softly at first, then built up some volume slowly. "I'm gonna......take a little break and go off on my own for a bit......sort some things out. I'll be back later." Ichi had suggested that they train together as he needed to practice with his sand, but now Kazuki didn't feel like being around anyone else. He turned and walked toward the rocks that they would climb for training, something slowly building inside of him. He wasn't sure of what it was but he didn't want to be around the others went it reached its boiling point.
