Xiezhi Hiroshi - 4th Seat Sword of the Fourth Division
Xiezhi walked over to where the other members of Squad 4 and sighed in boredom. "Ugh, why am I here. My time is better spent elsewhere." Xiezhi disliked being in large meetings like this, and preferred to work how he wanted. However, he wouldn't disobey orders, so he showed up. Xiezhi then waited for whatever was going to be going on to get started.

Once Jousake was done with his conversation with Naoto back in his office, Jousake snuck away over to his family's castle with the thanks of kido and arrived without a moment's notice. He needed to make a short visit to his clan's stronghold to discuss what had recently occurred in the Seireitei with his three most trusted family members. Ayano, Temujin, and Chiyo meet up with Jousake on such notice, as the four discussed recent events and such. This went on for quite some time before Jousake had to excuse himself towards the end, as he was late for the meeting that was called forth by Commander Tennyou.
Jousake rushed over the the Royal Council Room, as he had a worried look on his face, as he worried that Koko would put him on the spot for being late to the meeting. "Oh crap! I'm going to really embarrass myself!" Running down the hallways with concern, as he reached the massive doors to the Royal Council Room. Without warning, the two doors opened wide open and the show had finally appeared.
Jousake was speechless, as he noticed that only half of the people showed up. He was covered in sweat, his hair was all over the place, not to mention that his headdress was slanted to the right, and Jousake made such an entrance. "Oh crap..." Awkwardly smiling, Jousake proceeded to quietly head on over to the designated area for the Fourth Division and sat down in his seat, as he waited. He noticed that everyone from his division was present but him.
"Oh great. Now I'm the last one in my division to arrive. Wonderful..." Sighing, Jousake remained seated, as he was rather quiet compared to how he usually was. After attending Captain Ishtar's funeral and the recent events that hit the Seireitei, Jousake was worried about the future and the events that were going to come.

"My, what is it with these people and high places." Yoshiko muttered to herself, she was already quite late for the meeting and though she managed to run halfway towards the Council Room, she wasn't about to burst through the doors panting and sweating. That would've been quite immature. Hilarious, in a high-school sort of thing. But immature. Still, it was tempting but the Lieutenant managed to exert enough self-control over herself. She was a Shinigami now, not just some Rukongai resident, she had to act in a disciplined man-- "Ah, ****!" she cursed as she accidentally stubbed her foot on a jutting piece of rock. Thankfully no one was around to hear it.
Entering the room, Yoshiko's mouth hung a bit open as she saw the gold and black design. Is that actual gold? She thought. Surely they wouldn't use genuine gold to line the walls... right? Shaking her head slightly, she quickly located her squad's table and sat on her designated seat. It would seem her Captain had yet to arrive, Yoshiko softly chuckled, at least there were others who were tardier than her. Then again, it would seem the meeting had yet to officially start. The Commander was certainly present, as well as other Captains, Lieutenants and Officers. But they seemed to be engaging in small talk. Yoshiki looked over some of them, taking care not to stare... then checked again because she swore she saw two catgirls in the area.
Nope, they were real. Weird... but so incredibly cute. Still, it'd be awkward to run up to them and start massaging behind their ears... as adorable as that'd be.

As more and more officers poured into the large room, Kokoro continues to mule through the electronic files making sure she memorizes all details before addressing the public. She looks up to notice several Captains entering onto the Captain platform, nodding to each respectively. Kokoro also notices the appearance of the Royal Guard members who decide to sit amongst the lower ranking officers. This doesn't surprise Kokoro, instead she exhales softly and goes back to the floating file before her. She swipes the screen to a report filed this week from Mai about Nocella and Atsuhiko's abduction. Her eyes lower for a brief moment and her lips form into a hard line. Damn Rogues... she thinks expelling the mournful thoughts from her head. She looks back up to further read the report. She feels the room becoming more occupied. Chatter fills the empty space that separates the seats.
Kokoro presses a button on her chair and the screens vanish. She rises, her purple cloak flailing as a result. She walks to the railing of the platform sending a look to her Squadron members who sit quietly towards the upper sections. They wouldn't speak, having no real interest in mingling with the other Squads. They are merely here to keep the calm due to the exceeding number of Souls here. With a subtle nod, Kokoro signals the guards at the doors to take their posts. Most of the Squads have arrived by this point. Kokoro walks from the railing to the center platform which is extended from the seating section. As she reaches the end, four large holographic screens appear around the Captain platform. Her image can be seen on it.
Clearing her throat, Kokoro taps her Zanpakuto on the floor which causes a loud thud to silence everything. "Ladies and gentleman, we will be beginning shortly. Only a few Squads have yet to arrive." she says. Her voice echoes through the hall allowing everyone to hear her bird-like voice.

Suddenly, a portal opened at the entrance to the Seireitei meeting room. All who came out was Atsuhiko himself, bloodied and banged up from his battle with Hakora. Seeing as how most of the Seireitei were here, he had no choice but to open the portal in the middle of the meeting. He wasn't too sure if it had begun or not, but all he could tell was that mostly everyone was here. Breathing heavily, his vision started to swim. It had became worse once he had escaped from Euphoria. He limped to where the Captain Commander stood, quickly stumbling and falling over, having trouble even walking. He soon weakly got up, looking up at the Captain Commander after glancing around. "Captain Kokoro!" He called out, slowly pushing himself up to speak towards her more. "I-I apologize for leaving her behind... I had no choice... but..." He started, coughing up blood weakly. "My blood... Her blood... Are being used... For a sacifice of something... They managed to get three. All they need is four left before...," He couldn't finish speaking before falling again, letting go of his Zanpakuto. He was completely strained and his body was so tired. His vision was swimming even more as he went between consciousness and unconsciousness. He could barely hear anything around him anymore. It was hard to even think, despite the voice of his own Zanpakuto trying to keep him awake. It was so hard to keep his eyes open, especially after fighting like it was his last. Maybe, today would be his last.

Unlike others, Houmei was quite content to stay put and silent as officers gathered in the area. She kept to herself, as per usual, sitting cross-legged in her chair with arms tucked in the adjacent sleeve in front of her. She only stirred when she felt Anya and Kono enter, and even then she only glanced over at them before shutting her eyes once more. Likewise, when Kokoro arrived, Houmei was quite still, also only offereing her a glance before exhaling a breath and maintaining her composure.
What did the trick was the sudden fluctuation of spiritual energy in the room. With the spark of the portal can a surge of reiryoku that was foreign, and it compelled her to rise, point her eyes in that direction and watch as the eleventh division captain fell through. There was nothing to suggest he was the only thing coming through, so she was already out of her seat, throwing it backwards with the sheer amount of strength she had placed into the jump.
When she did reappear, she stood before the portal, sword drawn and staring into it with such intensity and one might think she could will it away with a thought. Anything else that might becoming would have had to go through her and that was a feat in itself. Not that they would have the chance, of course. Suzaku was alight with blue flame; and her spiritual pressure danced around the room; the former captain had no intention of taking any chances. By that time, the fallen Shinigami was approaching Kokoro...

Amaranth's eyes shot open as she felt a sudden burst of reiryoku, dimly at first, as if from behind a wall, but then exponentially increasing as it punched through dimensional boundaries, forging a portal and allowing the Squad 11th Captain to drag himself through before the rend in space began to fade away. Books hit the ground with a dull thump, and even a cookie was thrown aside as the Kido Commander shunpo'd forwards, her reiryoku flaring at full force and shrouding her in a reddish-purple could of energy as she began an incantation, attempting to stop her trap before it was set off by Atsuhiko's sudden entrance.
""Memories of ice, dust of dreams, a race in exile, a world without seams. Contain the realms, withhold all sprains, preserve the elms, and wrap in chains. Imprison the hero, in absolute zero." As she moved towards the portal, attempting to close the distance before it sealed itself, her hands were quickly shrouded in an icy blue glow, with a deep chill permeating the air around her. Sweeping her hands over the portal, Amaranth muttered, "Junshin #8: Hyōgajida", spreading a sheen of frozen reiryoku that covered the portal, wrapping it in a clear blueish cover that stopped it from closing. Sidestepping quickly as she saw Houmei arrive just before she did, she moved to avoid capturing the Royal Guard in the Kido, awkwardly twisting her body to avoid barreling into the purple-haired female. Even as the sheen spread across the portal, Amaranth's right hand quickly lashed out to the side, snatching above the injured captain's head and grabbing a golden chain of Kido, just as it began to form, sending another blast of the Junshin ability in a flash over the captain, which dissolved shortly after, only lasting long enough to stop the ripples of pressure caused by his sudden appearance.
As the disturbances created by the portal, and the wounded captain's sudden appearance, vanished, Amaranth let out a sigh and released the energy surrounding her hands, leaning back against a wall to regain her breath, her reservoirs of energy dented by the double use of a Junshin ability. Once she regained her breath, the captain of Squad 5 pressed off the wall, returning to her feet and staring at the portal. "Uhh... Squad 12, we have a sample portal here," pressing a pale hand against her face, Amaranth sighed and turned to face Atsuhiko, "Try to avoid breaking straight in again, the Kido you would have unleashed..." Shaking her head, sending her reddish hair bobbing around her head, the plump captain turned and stopped talking, returning her attention, and curiosity, to the frozen portal before her.

It was no surprise that Xero was one of the last to show up. Noroi had implied that much. What did surprise him, though, was that he wasn't THE last to show up. Despite his side stops to do whatever he wanted, it seemed that he still managed to beat both the captain and Noroi. Either they were really slow or stayed behind for some reason...They did seem friendly and all, but Xero didn't think they were THAT friendly. "So little miss Tomoyo plays for the same team." He snickered at the thought before looking over his shoulder to make sure she wasn't close enough to see.
Walking inside, Xero flashed his lieutenant's badge to the guards- he made the side trip to pick that up just in case- before walking towards the seats. That's when he saw the giant screen with the head captain's face on it. It was actually the first time he saw her before. He actually only knew of her by reputation. Despite being a lieutenant, or maybe because he was a lieutenant, he'd never made a formal introduction. Then again, how would anyone be able to get close enough to say two words to someone that important. Only the captains were lucky enough to do that. In fact, they had there own little meetings just for that. The only way a lieutenant like Xero would have been able to see the head captain was if he went with Tomoyo...or he was promoted.
Speaking of lieutenants, Xero hadn't actually met any of them either. He'd been promoted only recently afterall. And when he was rising in the ranks, he was always challenging random strangers instead of really socializing. "Well. This is a meeting. And you can't spell meeting without meet." But that was the only thing Xero was happy about. Besides meeting the other lieutenants, the rest of the meeting would probably bore him to death. Then again, how could he know the meeting was boring if it hadn't even started. For all he knew, it could have really been something important, which normally wasn't boring. Considering the big deal Noroi was making about it, that wasn't too unbelievable.
Taking his seat, Xero decided to rest before he tried socializing. That was until he finally noticed the half dead guy and everyone swarming around him. "HOLY S**T!" So much for boring.

At her final word to the crowd, Kokoro stops, tension running down her spine as a sudden flair in reaitsu occurs. A portal rips open to reveal the battered figure of Atsuhiko. Before she can react, Amaranth has flew by her from the platform to seal the strange portal with a Junshin spell.
Kokoro on the other hand shunpos to Atsuhiko, catching him with her arm as he slumps against the railing of the Captain's platform. She listens as Atsuhiko tells her about blood, sacrificing something, and Nocella being left behind. Atsuhiko then meekly coughs up blood which lands on her sleeve.
Immediately she turns in Jousake's direction, "Captain Hiroshi!" she yells. From afar, the officers of Squad One have mobilized around Houmei and her roaring blue flames.
The large screens capture the entire event for the officers around to see.

Sasuke quoted down as the commander spoke. Every time she spoke it was with a great power, but a loving and gentleness about her. Like a mother who would do anything for her children. As he began to smile, that smile was quickly ended by a portal in the middle of the room opening. His captain moved to the portal and he flash stepped to the head captain and Captain who was badly hurt. He regretted even more not listening to Jousake and learning some healing kidos. He knew one from the Academy made to heal minor cuts and wounds. He began performing it on the captain, but feeding large amounts of Reitsu in it to try to make it stronger. He was only successful in slowing the blood loss, but he kept trying until a real medic could rush her.
Yuki xamined Roka, her new Captain as he spoke and shifted his weight to shake her hand, slowly she would reach towards his hand and shake his hand slightly firmly with her soft hand. Yuki had never seen anyone with a third eye before, but it amazed her, as she softly nodded and turned her body, to sit down next to Roka. Crossing her legs, Yuki spoke with a cold yet soft voice, " If you have any questions about me, or anything, fill free to ask, Captain. " Overall Yuki was calm, as she began to thinking and take mental notes about Roka.
However before she could say anything else a portal opened and Yuki's hand flew straight to her zanpakuto hilt. However she realized it was the Captain of squad 11, covered in blood. Yuki's eyes widen as she looked towards squad four as she shot up other feet. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I am afraid that my time will be up before I find my place..."◕

Listen... I'm a little different.
There went Lady Kokoro again. Well, given that Atsuhiko just showed up beaten and bruised, and on top of that, had apparently some information, it shouldn't be surprising the Head Captain rushed right into the fight. Still, Eun Ji was surprised, by both the return and sudden leap to action others took in the room. He was still holding his hand over his mouth from gasping earlier. But Atsuhiko said he had no choice but to leave her behind. Well that meant Nocella was still there, but what was this business about sacrifices?
Standing, pushing the skirt back down and heading to the middle of the room where Atsuhiko laid was the first thing Eun Ji did after his mind had stopped racing. It was all he could really make sure he concentrated on. What followed however, was perhaps a little less than rational. "I don't blame Atsuhiko for leaving Nocella behind, but don't you think we should take this time to have someone go get her?" He asked, the question aimed more at the room. Of course, this was going under the premise that they could go get Nocella. "I mean, well doesn't Kido Corps have something to reopen or stabilise things? Or is this out of our league?" This one was more directed at the group standing around Atsuhiko. Eun Ji wasn't exactly great with Kido so.... yeah, he actually knew next to nothing about the damnable spells. But, if they could open things back and go get Nocella, they could do it again, in theory. While a mass invasion might not be possible, sending in one or two people might be, especially since Atsuhiko apparently came through just fine, save the beating he had received before hand. Eun Ji was concerned about him, but his mind was more on saving two comrades than just one alone, especially since the opportunity seemed to present itself.
But that doesn't mean I can't handle myself.

Tao's thoughts broke at the sudden fluctuation of the room. His sharp eyes scanned to whatever this feeling was and captured a portal to quickly open and out come a battered and bruised Captain. Tao furrowed his brow at the man, he looked seriously damaged, coughing up blood at that matter. Blood from the mouth meant serious damage to the inner organs, it was deadly. Tao didn't move, for already people where jumping at the sight.
Tao watched the sight unfold and couldn't help but look at the feminine man talking about what was exactly on his mind. Tao kept a close eye on what was happening below, wondering if perhaps he should volunteer to go, after all he was skilled with going into different areas that weren't well known. To add, his division dealt with intelligence, wouldn't it make since to send someone whom is there to gather information?
Tao though continued to sit still, it seemed that division four was needed to help save the mans life, Tao would only cluster what was going on down there, for now he'd stay silent and continue to watch what was below, though he was sure everyone was.

Roka's eyes winded slightly at the events unfolded in front of his eyes. Before he would respond to his Lt. Roka shunpoed using his fastest speed agility making it seem it was like teleportation. Roka was by far one of the best flash step users by far in the Seireitei. Roka landed a few feet away from the commander and the Squad 11 Captain. Roka raised his voice, "Stay back! No one gets through unless they are from Squad Four or Five. We can not have any sort of contamination on our hands." Roka shouted with a cold and ruthless voice.
Roka then began to enforce on what he had just stated. Roka's job was to be in charge of political matters and he viewed this one as such. He could not have the Captain die especially this way and knowing people would rush over to watch and not even help, Roka could not have that. Roka watched the other Soul Reapers carefully so that none would pass him unless they were either a Captain Ranked, Squad Five or Four Member. Roka would try to do his best to keep the masses in check and secretly hope that the Captain would not die.
