A part of her was surprised to hear that he apparently felt no more swayed from his plea now than before, but it was a feeling that buzzed through her with a plesant feeling of warmth. Hige must be Thayne's alpha, from the sounds of it.
The she wolf --this time-- was suddenly moved to feel relieved, and grateful. She also felt tired, as though finally shaking free of a large burden that had been laid on her shoulders, but it didn't stop her from moving forward and pressing her head against Thayne's neck again, nuzzling him back this time.
"I'll go back with you, Thayne. I'll be a part of your family." was all she murmered, but she said it in such a way that he would rest assured that she meant it.

Her words slammed into him like a tidal wave, almost a physical sensation. He felt relieved, giddy, stunned. He wanted to leap, howl his joy, run until he could run no more! He wanted to lay down and rest with her, show her how to hunt, sit on the shore and watch the sky and the stars.
At the moment, Thayne did none of those things. He simply smiled and curled around her, his tail the only thing betraying his feelings as it wagged wildly. His quest for more pack members was forgotten, or at least postponed; his prayers had been answered so soon as to return. Especially with Tony's situation, the only safe option for the both of them was to return as soon as possible to the sea. He nuzzled her fur comfortingly.
"We'll 'ave t' leave soon as poss'ble," he told her. "I don' wan' t' chance Kurogane an' Sen o' anythin' else comin' up on us t'night." It was obvious he meant his blood scent was too attractive for them to stay long. Besides, he would be sore if he waited any longer to start moving and then their journey might take considerably longer. "We'll find a shallow spot an' roll 'roun' t' clean us off, then head back t' th' pack territ'ry. Shouldn' take more'n a couple days, an' we can hunt on th' way. Ready o' should we wait a bit?" Her answer was all he needed. The pair trotted off, close together, heading for the packlands.

Tony's own tail swayed to and fro between her back legs, daring to perk a bit in the process. "Alright," She was all too happy to agree, smiling simply, but happily, as she moved to his side to follow his lead.
They were going home.
