I'm going to agree on all that Swift (and DLB) has said..
Hell Its pretty much free mainstream advertisement for Repo: the Genetic Opera in a way if you think about it.. People see Repo Men, if they Really like it enough to find out more they will most likely discover The Genetic Opera.. and quite possibly like it more... (unless they are Bias closed minded ignorant bastards who believe The Genetic Opera is a rip off and wont even humor any one to the idea of the contrary)

wreaking havoc In the atmosphere I'm used to (very sports driven college campus) There really is a difference. There are the Repo Men type and the Repo! type, and a distinct line between them (And of course the people who wouldn't like either). I'm just saying that among the people I know suggesting something like Repo! to a blockbuster action fan would be like asking an anti-Semite to light a menorah. So while it's definitely possible, the appeal of OperaHorror to the average person is highly unlikely. (Has found this out the hard way several times)
Also, thank you for trying to instill a bit of civility, but even from a non Repo! standpoint I think the movie looks terrible and cliche in it's development and characters, after all how many amazing premises and plots have Hollywood destroyed with big name actors, over the top cliche's and romance(I hate unnecessary romance plots, with seething terrible rage)? I do respect your opinions though(have for a long time, and I feel really awful to be somewhat against you on this matter redface ), I'm just angry at the machine. :] Hey, I feel you. I live in a crappy town in southern Georgia where, when I tried to talk to people about Repo! and hand out flyers, these people had never even heard of The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Sweeney Todd. College students. At the music/arts/drama building. I have for the most given up trying to promote Repo! in my hometown and instead focused my efforts on the internet where nerdiness of all types is much more prevalent. But, if it comes up in conversation, I always try to mention Repo! when I can, no matter how much I think someone will hate it.
Don't worry about disagreeing; without disagreement it'd be pretty hard to have any interesting debates, neh?

I thought it was quite funny that on Repo Men's blog on IMDB, there are big threads saying REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA. I think Repo fans are doing pretty good right now.

Wow. And here I was starting to have the highest respect for Hollywood. But this here. Not only is it PLAGIARISM, this is one-upping another man's work. I know this may be old news, but I'm as outraged as everyone here.

No way I can't believe it. How could this happen, and it will probably bomb, hopefully. I'll be a REPo! fan forever.

Repo! the Genetic Opera is obviously better. Does Repo men have an exclamation point in the title? No, didn't think so. :3

Actually, they do. sweatdrop "Repo Men!" is the full title, and guess where the exclamation point was inspired from? Come on. I bet you cannot guess! lol
