((Hmm... Didn't see what you said there Kowasauni. Disintigration will not work because magic shield blocked the damage from it. No damage, no disintigrations. *Points finger*)) ((Rolling Throwback. Even=thrown)) ((Hmm... Shoulda gave vamp incinerate, and I totally forgot to give 'knight any anti-magic stuff besides defend.))
Revenant: 10/30 6 [Attack] Vincent [Thrown] Vincent 14 [Attack] Vincent
Dead-Flame: 50/50 [Pulled]

Spectress: 40/40
Heirophant: 26/50 6 [Throwback] Revenant 6 [Attack] Hound 6 [Attack] Hound 6 [Smash] Hound
Demetry: -2/25 27 [Overblast] Morto Fouco~+~
{Put 'Em Down} {Eye for an Eye} {Overkill}
Vincent's attacks nail the deathknight with enough force to dent his hardened steel armor. However, before his backhand hits the mage, the armored foe grabs his counterpart's arm. "Not this time, 'pally'! If he dies then his wife'll kill me." With that quick bit of advice, the Revenant grabs onto your tunic and lifts you off the ground. With one inhuman action, he flips you onto your back and on the ground where the haunted hound was waiting to maul you.
However, Mizka and Demetry come to Vincent's aid. The necromantic dog is shredded by razor sharp claws, leaving only a bloody mist and a few chunks of bone behind.
Meanwhile, the mage sighed in relief. "a**. If we have to wait another year for you to reappear, she'll use my femur to summon you faster. Again!" He flipped his odd looking staff around in his hands. Although it was only about two and a half feet long, the numerous metal components slapped onto it made it look quite cumbersome. The vampire slips a vial of blue liquid in the top of the staff and points part of it at Demetry. With a loud boom, a hail of iceshards shoot down the poor dragon.
The crowd roars in excitement. Only a few moves into battle and already there was bloodstains
"Hahaha! This'll be good!" The announcer booms.
"Idiot, this was your idea." The deathknight seemed completely uncarring about the death of his dog.
((On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your character's knowledge of local history, undead lore, and millitary crests))

((Hmm Mitzka is the undead daughter of the Areathos family line. The Areathos where Nobles who at one time controlled and ruled much of the land around Miyr. They were also major players in the city politics, using fear, violence and intimation to pull strings behind the scene. That was until they were wiped out by an angry mob about 26 years ago. So to make a long story short.. Mitzka would be quite knowledgeable on local history (10/10) and undead lore (10/10) as her parents had a library on this stuff and she spent a lot of time after her death trying to understand the nature of her predicament. She would recognize family crests of other noble families, but as for military crests pretty low. (2/10)

((Well, Vincent is a paladin, so undead is something he's used to combating. But he doesn't know everything...after all, it's not like it was his only duty. So about a 8-9/10 for undead. Local history isn't his strong suit, but he's been around here a while, and probably heard at least a little bit. So I'd give him a 2-3/10 on local history. However, military crests is something he knows. Being the captain of the king's elite guard means you have to know everything about your enemies. Meaning he probably knows quite a few military crests. I'd give him anywhere from and 8 to a 10/10 on that one. I'll let you decide.))

((Posting next round. If you want to you can RP with those two and our combined information and the post for battle will just...i don't know...I guess it'll just be there for later, lol mrgreen ))
Vincent moves shakily over to Demetry, blood running from a dozen different bite and claw marks. "Damn dog..." Vincent mutters just before reaching his companion. "Sorry friend...I'll avenge you, I promise." Vincent stands as Demetry fades to mist and moves within his coin for later. "You injured my friend, Mage..." Vincent says as he audibly cracks his neck with a grimace of anger. Something returned to his eyes...but it doesn't look good...Vincent drinks two potions, and his skin begins to glow and visibly harden. The energy begins to fill his wounds, slowing the bleeding on some of the more serious injuries. Vincent closes his eyes and raises his blade to point at the mage. The blade then begins to slowly fill from hilt to tip with the same light that surrounds Vincent. From the blade shoots a beam of white light surrounded with crackling black energy slams into the mage, smearing the ink on the mages neck and singing the clothing around the symbol on his chest. Vincent then charges, slamming into the man with urgent, blood-thirsty tenacity. "I'll tear you both to pieces and send you straight to Hell!" Mitzka sees in his eyes the same hate and rage she saw in the image at his enclave as Daustua. Though whether she realizes the implications or not in her current state is yet to be known.
Vincent Use: Potion of Defense, Elixer of Magic Attack: Dead-Flame (16 damage) Attack: Dead-Flame (16 damage) Attack: Dead-Flame (16 damage) Spell: Disintegration Spirit Bracer: Heal Vincent (5 damage) Water Child Endurance if Vincent would otherwise die Hp: 31/50 Ap: 0 Mp: 1

Well, sorry bout that, shoudl've been clearer ^.^;;. There's no stop in the fighting, you just happen to notice this. Quite easily.
The Deathknight's armor; even without any knowledge of blacksmity, looks rather improvised. Several sets of fullplate and chainmail hastily melded into one cumbersome piece of armor. The topmost layer looks like its been through hell and back.
On the breastplate, there lies a large crest depicting a shield with a flower that looks like the nightshade which grows to the north of Miyr in vast numbers. This was the crest of a now defunct order of paladins to which this deathknight must've belonged to. Some lore depicts this order as a group formed by an unnamed individual who took the fairy-tale of some paladin matyr dying for his family, to heart. However, the order was absorbed by a larger, more modern one some few years after creation. This crest is atleast 22 years old and seems to be to only piece of the armor which this deathknight cleaned and repaired. A small patch of shiny metal in a sea of tar, grease, and scratches.
Ontop of this crest, is scrawled a necromnatic symbol in what appears to be an unaturally translucent purple ink. A rather obscure seven pointed star used in experimental necromancy if no usable symbol can be found.
The vampire seems to be of a bloodline found more in the costal regions of this area. Although he looked to be around 30 years of age, this vampirism stopped aging considerable. He too, had the seven pointed star on him. But this time painted on his cloak and tatooed onto the side of his neck.

((Hmm, you probably should have used the elixir to cast disintegration, as that would have finished off the vampire for good this round. We're also going to have to be careful he doesn't employ the same tactic on us as well. btw I'm a little unclear about this, can people with status undead have negative damage (aka -17HP) or does it simply stop a Zero))
Mitzka rises from her crouching position by the remains of the hound, her bladed claws still dripping from its blood. Though barely the same girl when in her shadow form, Mitzka is momentarily taken back by Vincents display of rage. However she then giggles and lets out another ear Pickering battle shriek. Crossing her hands in front of her she runs towards the vampire and gracfully flips over his head. As she does this she shes uncrosses her arms and slashes the vampire with her claws like a giant pair of scissors. As she comes to land she brings one final attack down onto the head of the Death knight.

((You have a valid point...if you say you want to do that now, then that's what we'll do. I'll edit it, so for Bellamin: please see changes above. Also, the keep going negative. They have to be able to heal that damage, since their bodies are still taking damage. After all, it's not like once they hit 0 they become invincible all of a sudden.))

Blood splatters everywhere as three holy blades and two monstrous claws shred their way through the vampire. Pinned against the wall and missing chunks of flesh everywhere, he still has time to smile. "Hahaha! Anger'll be the death of you." With that, his shirt falls open to reveal a leather apron, and a bandolier of vials on his chest. With one hand, he snapped his exposed spine back onto his body, and with the other shielded his eyes.
A fiery explosion rips you both away from the ghastly duo. A fiery figure is present, casually loading a somehow unexploded vial into his staff. "Aw jeez. Thats what? The fifth time I've done that? She's gonna kill me for sure this time" But nobody seemed to pay attention to him. Meanwhile, something smelt of burning corpses and chemicals. The deathknight rips his broken skull off of his head and crushes it in his hands. "Never needed it. Take it from a veteran of both orders and parenthood. Always bring a spare." With that, he rips the skull of the haunted hound off its shredded corpse and places it on his shattered spine. With a gout of purple flame, it polymorphed into an exact replica of his old one. Sans the caved in skull cavity of course.

((How did the tank block the damage, gaurd? , due to Vincents emerald fist he should only have 2 defense
Emerald Fist: (E6) If you attack an enemy this round, reduce their defense by 1/2 of your attack power, rounded down. You may only do this for your first two attacks of the round.
Vincent attacked him successfully when he had 16 attack meaning his defense should be reduced to 2 (10-8 ) With that his guard can only block 6, My attack would have thoroughly killed him (27 -2-6 =19) meaning also he couldn't pull the disintegration as you cant pull something if you have already had enough damage dealt to you to knock you out that round.
True Guardian: (5 CP) Redirect any one offensive spell, action, ability, or attack that causes any type of damage to yourself instead. Cannot be used if you have already had enough damage allotted to you to knock you out. ))

Isn't it for one round? My idea was one round, because the fact that that little thing has no indication of the effect's duration. I mean, doesn't that sound fair?
Cause if its true that it lasts for the whole of combat, then the thing just lowered poor Ridel's defense to absolute zero. Seriously. With a 6e item, you can practically destroy any defense tanker monster/character in one turn.

(Like other items and abilities, I imagine It would say for just one round if it was intended to last for one round. Like all other stat draining abilities (ie wrath touch, blood drain, etc) I imagine it lasts till the end of combat. Reduced stats can only be healed with an elixir or that one ability in the church of divine mother. Its a very rare powerful item. However, considering you can make yourself almost unkillable with 8 cp, a 6cp investment doesn't seem that outrageous. Considering also you also need a high cp investment in attack for it to be effective. It also only effect the first two attacks meaning if you block em as you did with one of them using throwback, then there is no effect. Thats why he would have 2 defense to rather the zero. As it didn't count for his third attack))

The way FARGORE worded it is weird to be sure, but the "You may only do this for the first two attacks of the round" portion of the explanation was his way of saying that the sword only works for the round and then they go back to normal the next round. So, we're definitely, maybe fuxxxored.)) "Let him die..." Vincent says as he crawls to a stand, "You defender types are rather noble...but so very annoying at times. I can't let you save him anymore...I'll destroy you next..." Vincent lifts his sword, wounds bleeding from multiple burns and many more cuts from flying debris and that deathly hound from earlier. He gently chants as his sword regains some of the glow from earlier; though this time it seems to be accompanied by a deep mist that surrounds it. Vincent completes the spell, and charges into the pack of blood spawns, tearing through one of them with so much force that just the wind generated from the blade rips into another spawn, killing it as well. Vincent then jumps over the remaining spawn before whipping himself into a tight spin which rapidly slams into Revenant three times before he manages to deflect the spin. Vincent lands roughly due to the wounds but quickly spins to face Revenant, backhanding the mage in the chest to stop his spell.
