Ammit the Devourer Zagadska Ammit the Devourer Ok maybe I'll teach a class in here. Lol. Where would I start? I know a bunch about Gods/Goddess, mummification, Pharaohs, Akenaten, and umm a bunch of other random stuff.
How did the civilization start? What made up the society? The levels of monarchy and ruling parties? Wars and whatnot. 3nodding
sweatdrop I took Ancient Egypt last semester and it was kinda boring. However, it was only boring because the professor didn't know how to teach it. All the information was relative and there, but she just didn't put a spark in it, y'know?Yeah if I sat in a class I'd probably feel like killing the teacher since I already know so much. I have tons of books. I've watched all the shows on the history channel. I even know some of the stuff they argue about. Did you know geologists who studied the rocks used for everything debate with the Egyptologists about the time line of the everything?
The other thing about Ancient Egypt is that the timeline is kinda screwed up, so to speak. You know how they dated things back then. Each ruling Pharaoh began a 'new year', so it's really hard to determine specifics, despite debates and theories of estimated times. Bleh...semantics.

Haha. Yeah. My friend in high school was like. "What if the hieroglyphs were just kids doing graffiti?" I was like, "Ok, you seriously think people had kids running off to the middle of the desert to do graffiti in closed off tombs with trap doors? And they just happen to be very precise and artistic about it and spent a long time working on it just for the heck of it?"
