Ryukkuu (-=Ashe18=-) Teehee, Lol ... Please, no voiceovers .... I would hate to see Cloud stop talking but his mouth still moving .... I swear it happened alot on FFX .... Me too. @.@; It -did- happen in FFX a bunch of times. It drove me nuts. gonk Keep in mind though that when they made FFX, they were nimrods with the voiceover stuff. It was alot better in x-2...and in 12...o-o; omigosh, dude...gooood... I think they'd do awsome.

cldstrife15 fernshouldburn Actually, if they were only gonna add one feature, personally, New Game+ would be top on my list. It adds SO much replay value to the game, especailly if you struggled through it the first time. If they do that they will have to take all the master and summon materia away. casting knights on the first boss is mega overkill You goof. They wouldn't have CLOSE to enough mp as they'd need. rofl

Well, I am hopign they re-make the game....It would be great. But if they did, they would have to make sure not to change much of anything. Make the music sound better, and trow in some great voice and such...But if they changed the attack's that they had before, or took out anything, it would be stupid.
I can see trowing in some more cut-scenes and mine-games and such....But they really should't change it much, it was such a great game.
And it would be great if they added Yuffie and Vincent in the end scenes, if you ahve them.
Aerith need's to stay dead....I love her, but she need's to stay dead for the whole story, or the world would die.

I would go for the sequel but I would want it to have like a Cloud Tifa offspring like his strength and skill and her versatility and AC graphics but that is wishful thinking that would have to be another final fantasy by itself.

I would totally buy an upgraded version, though the thing that honestly bothers me the most is the way they did the world map in FF10 (At least, after you get the airship). You just pick a location and you're there. That's it. While annoying, random encounters do provide a challenge.
And I agree that they can't really change anything about the story, even the smallest change could ruin the whole thing. Taking out the Desert Rose and stuff, or making it have a purpose elsewhere, would be nice to see.

I'd really love for their soundtrack to be on par with the AC soundtrack. I mean with the capabilities of the newer systems, if they didn't take full advantage of the new audio systems I'd be incredibly disappointed.
Voice acting would definitely be a great addition. However, I would like it if they included an option that would allow you to choose between English audio or Japanese audio (with or without English subtitles for the CG sequences, should they add dialogue to those portions too), so that you can choose according to your preferences.
I'd also like to see more Yuffie, but that's just a personal preference. 3nodding

There isn't much I would want to change. Of course the mini games and sidequests are a good idea. Also, they had better bring Aeris back this time. They weren't able to put it in last time, but they better this time. Grrr...
At last, the only other thing I would change about it, is the boss fight. Make Sephy ultimately stronger than before. He needs to obliterate like the weapons did.
BTW, could you imagine Knights of the Round in advanced graphics? O.o

There would definitely need to be more a weapons and possibly multiple endings, like what they did in Chrono Trigger. 3nodding

Well they are remaking it for ps3 and the graphics are great they compared the new vresion graphics to the old graphics and it just blew me away the scene they showed was the begginnig i think it is before no after you chose new game the whole thing before they show the title with the train and everythin and aeris.....I would like them to change NOTHING the game is perfect just the way it is maybe some minor adjustments but one thing i am looking forward to is the summons in new gen. graphics

well if they do remake the game i hope that there are better graphics! and the battel style should be like final fantasy X-2 how they run around the battel filed. also the i think should have newer summons! heart

the magic materia that got left out the origonal game
(wind materia: areo,areo2,areo3 the one that has drain/aspil on it, and i think there was another but i cant remeber what it is.

Yes, a remake would be awesome. I would buy it before I even got a PS3 if I had the change to secure myself of getting it before they release those Platinum editions and stuff.
I agree on eveyrthing you guys said actually. So I don't really need to add anything except that there is no chance that they would make it WITHOUT voices.
For the Japanese version they'd probably choose the same people as in AC, and in the American they'd do voiceovers with some crappy people.
So here's what i actually were thinking about, it's something I want for every game actually, and that's to be able to choose what voices to use and subtitles. Because well, as most of us know, the Japanese voices are often very much better than the voiceovers we get.
