The only book I have ever read and liked.

My Bloody Life: The Making of a Latin King by Reymundo Sanchez.

It is just such a great book, it explains how he grew up and became a gangster in one of the biggest Chicago gangs ever to be organized. He goes from A+ Student deemed to become a baseball player to a HS dropout who gang bangs and is addicted to sex. Every detail is so specific it made my head explode. Definitely a good read.

I'd have to say that my book choices are fairly mainstream. Twilight, The House Of Night series, The lost years of Merlin(T.A Barron), The Tree Of Avalon, Memoirs Of A Geisha. (I don't pay attention to many authors, I'm to busy reading.) I'm also finishing the InkHeart Series.(Cornelia Funke.)

Though my favorite, above all, is Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Jones. I could, and have read that book time and time again.

I used to be a literature student and there were two books which I really liked; 'The Winslow Boy' and.... Ah, crap. I forgot the title for the other. I could only remember that it was a story of a doctor finding the cause of the problem of how people were sick from drinking water from the fountain or something and they turned against him or something like that, Okay I have to find that book and read it all over again.
Other than that, Candace Bushnell's 'Trading Up', 'Lipstick Jungle'
Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time Traveler's Wife'.
Am a big fan of Haruki Murakami; 'Blind Willow;Sleeping Woman', 'After Dark', 'Sputnik Sweetheart', 'Norwegian Wood' etc.
