Phith Leico Question: If Rei is the lord, what will happen when he disappears? And will there be multiple lords, like how there's Lyn, Hector, and Eliwood?
((But wouldn't it has the same effect as FE7? Any one of the lords that die, you lose the battle. D: ))

Overlord of Night- Shadow Well, I'm really crappy with sprites but in the actual making of the thing, I'm pretty good. And if you want I can supply you with some of the stuff I have. . . or links to where the really skilled people are, though you've probably already seen them.

Ooooooo. What if we made Lyn's chapters the morphs taking over the guild? We'd have to modify the story but it might work...

It'd make it so that there could be Resistance chapters during the time that Rei is in hiding. Why not make Alihi a Fencer, and make Aidan a soldier? And what about prepromotes, like Stefan? Would people like him or Uther come in already promoted, thus making a few Jeigans? And I can see Tibarn being like a wyvern unit, with Janaff more like a peg knight, but without a rider.

And as for the Lords dying, you can disconnect the "Game Over when Lords die" thing from them; it just takes some work.
EDIT: *blink* Ace and Nintenlord are both in there, I see.

I'm going to try to avoid Lyn's story because of the tutorial data that's so hard to remove. There's a killer patch, but it's not perfect. I'd actually planned on having the take-over as a cutscene at the beginning.
Rei disappears? This could be problematic, the Lord needs to be a character who's there all the time.

((Have you tried using the Hard Mode on Lyn's story? It does not have tutorial.))

Well doesn't hard mode for Lyn have no tutorial?
And considering we don't have many archers, maybe Janaff could be a flying bow user?
And storywise Stefan hasn't fought any yet, so he could be active in the story without actually coming until his prepromoteness is appropriate.

Mewtation Rei disappears? This could be problematic, the Lord needs to be a character who's there all the time. Yeah, it was Melethia ratted him out, after we found all of the keys. It was just for, like, 2 days though, and really nothing happened in between, so it could just be like a timeskip or something. Also, most characters tend to NOT be there all of the time. Rei also has a perfect track record of being at al of the big events. *pulling for Rei to be the Lord XD *

If you'd like Lyn's mode. Either way, I'd have to supply a complete savefile, and that's no problem. I just think it'd be easier to have that scene as a cutscene at the beginning.
If you're using the same tutorial killer patch I am, Renault, it's got some flaws depending on circumstances. It works fine if you're playing the game as it is, but if you're doing weird stuff that isn't there before (like distanced attacks in the prologue, for example) then it hangs occasionally.
Everything else sounds good, by the way.

It's really up to you. I'm just throwing out some ideas. We could make the dragons mages if necessary. But I think we're kinda short on axe users for the resistance side, aren't we? Maybe Skrimir?

For the record, I use Eliwood's unpromoted sprite when imaging myself for Fire Emblem purposes.

After trying to sort through all the posts I missed...
Okay, no custom sprite for Blossom... if I could locate a female Mercenary battle sprite (if it even exists) or if someone else could, and then use the female Hero battle sprite for her, that would work fine. If we have to make the hair fit, you can use her short-hair sprite and that's fine. Both the pigtail sprite and short-hair sprite are in my art thread here in the guild.
Blossom would get axes upon promotion, which would help to bring in more axes.

Mmm. . . I may not have gotten all the way through it or something, so I could be wrong. As for Hard mode, yeah, you have to already have a savefile with the game beaten to use it. . .
If you've got IM somewhere, Vika, it might be easier to talk there.
