twisted words For Bella, I imagined someone really pretty. I can't really describe it, but Emily Browning has completely replaced that image.
heart Hahahah. <3 Yeah, my image died, sadly, after that. =(
I picture the whole face. Dark hair, like Henry's. And very sharp features. His eyebrows brownish, medium-filled, straight. His eyes a gold with specks of brown... His nose a bit like my own. Pointed, but somehow smoother than mine. His lips are... perfect, his bottom lip slightly larger than the top. And he is pleasantly pale. Toned.
Does that sound about right? heart

I had to stop reading at one point, just to try to make my imagination conceive faces. I have Bella's down pat. Edward's is coming along. I can't imagine him paper white, so I give him a touch of color. And I can't give him the dark purple beneath his eyes and still see him as attractive as otherwise. So my imaginary edward is not like the books in that regard.
When I first started reading the books, I have to admit- I used Gaia's Louie for Edward. And I wouldn't have stopped unless I realized the hair was all wrong. I still imagine him as a manga character of some sort. XD

schmut-lovee lildarkangel3001 schmut-lovee ElegantSarcasm I know exactly what you mean. That's usually how I am when I try to imagine his face. It's like his face is in shadow. But, when I'm just reading the books and not specifically trying to picture him, there's a face there. It's only when I try to focus on it and see it that I can't. Kind of a wierd concept, really. Ah. I think that's exactly what I've been trying to say all along (plus other things). When I'm reading and I'm not focusing on the face, not really thinking about it much, I THINK I can see it. But when I try to picture it, I just can't see it anymore. But I'm still not sure if I can actually see the face when I read while not focusing on the faces.. But. Eh. ---------------------- @lildarkangel3001: I agree, I don't want to watch the Twilight movie that much. Majority of me is anti-Twilight movie. =) But the only reasons I wanna watch it is to see how it turns out and so that I could make movie clips. =) I just don't have a movie maker or anything so that's quite impossible anyway.. D: yes! i wanna make movie clips too. If you have windows, you should already have a movie maker on there. got o search your computer for this program: windows movie maker. you should have it. As for macs...i think they have a movie maker....dunno really....there is a vid on youtube that teaches you how to amke an amv with windows movie maker. here's the link... ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABkoZZHTCFEOH MY GAWD you are my new hero. mrgreen lol no prob! biggrin

Course I can. I can see the whole book! When I read, it plays out in my head..which of course is why it's always so disappointing when I see movies from books because it's never remotely how I saw it..ah well, still worth it <3

I can say I see their faces when I read it. I see the scene and actions, but when I try to draw them, it just doesnt come out the way I see it in my head. Its hard to get their perfection just right....ESPECIALLY EDWARD

I basically see anything but the face. I can never picture the characters how Stephenie Meyer describes them.

lol well when you put it that way, it's hard to tell. for me, i imagine a bunch of faces at once somehow, and then they disappear seconds later. they're there, just not in detail.

I can see Edward's face quite clearly, and certain parts of Bella's face. The one thing different is that I don't see the purple under Edward's eyes. I CAN, but it just isn't right.
This is how I see Edward: NOT a round face, quite a slim face, but not unhealthily slim Very pale skin Untidy, normal length, dark brown hair with a hint of copper color Golden or black eyes (depending on where i am in the book) Between an almond shape and a round shape. Thin, dark brown eyebrows, with only a slight curve to them Straight, fairly thin, slightly long, perfectly smooth nose Slightly thin lips, but not quite THIN lips(If you know what I mean) in perfect proportion to each other, possibly SLIGHTLY larger bottom lip
This is how I see Bella: Medium-brown, SLIGHTLY wavy, hair. Length: bottom of shoulder blades. Slightly pale skin Slightly heart-shaped face Dark brown eyes, rounder than Edward's, but still not VERY round. Normal length and width nose Medium lips, possibly slightly fuller than average Thin, curved, dark brown eyebrows, marginally thicker than Edward's
I can only see how they are dressed if it is described, even if it isn't described in much detail.

I know what you mean. It happens to me with any book I read. It's like they are there almost in a kind of spirit form I would call it.

I see faces and hear voices but they change every time i read the book. For instance. at the moment Carlisle looks like my chem teacher becuase they are roughly the same age and both blond and really smart.
