As far as the Raven Guard go, the stealth ops facet that you've got hit it right on the head. Remember that they were almost entirely wiped out during the Heresy and lost a lot of chapter equipment on Istvaan, so perhaps you could have an upgradeable skill for scouts to give them Move Through Cover or drop pod/deepstrike beacons.

Remember that they were almost entirely wiped out during the Heresy and lost a lot of chapter equipment on Istvaan, so perhaps you could have an upgradeable skill for scouts to give them Move Through Cover or drop pod/deepstrike beacons. possibly, move through cover for scouts might infact get added, aswell as ive taken shrike's wing from the old SM codex, and made them elite choises for the army, and improving their initative from 4, to 5 with all their old rules, Dante Silas Looking at the Raven Guard ideas, I like the feel and it would suit the theme of the overall chapter, but I wouldn't give Devastators the infiltrate Universal Special Rule. They are designed to be a heavy support squad and I dont think they would work as infiltrators. Though having heavy bolter armed Devastators infiltrating behind enemy lines and ripping infantry to shreds does sound pretty tempting. the thought behind that was, the teams would infiltrate to possitions that suit them, and be able to fire well on their first turn, instead of having to waste potentialy 3 turns firepower getting to their possition, they'd already be there, ive found a good few resources on Bolter and chainsword for both chapters aswell, so all i really need now are pictures xp p.s, if anyone has, infact a raven guard, or salamander army, and wishes to photograph it, i'd consider putting it into the final peice of the codex when im able to fully make it,
