Joker walked out of his musings and looked at Monty. "I take it that you and Kalore have found a foundation? A balance?" Monty looked at Joker and slightly nodded. "A foundation. The balance will grow." Joker nodded with a small smile. "Good. That's really good because if not then Rave would have tried to kill you." The demon rolled his eyes. "I don't care about anyone other than....." Joker chuckled. "I know. I can tell even if other's can't. I'm glad too because when you want to be, your a good demon."
Monty scowled at Joker and was glad that they were home because he was about to kill Joker and leaving him in the forest by himself. "Good night." He growled. Joker laughed. "There's that demon I know and love. Good night. Don't go scaring children in the dark now." He shot over his shoulder and went into the house to sleep. Monty entered his shed and sighed. He was doing the right thing in doing this with Kalore.

~Next Day~ 10:30 P.M. The lights in the club were on the stage as there were seven dancers around. Four women were surrounding one of the guys in an arrow point as two other guys were on the sides. The one in the middle was Kalore. The music blared and pumped energy throughout everyone; The dancer's teasing just made it better. Eri knew what he was doing when he hired dancers. He didn't want strippers, he didn't want whores. What the man wanted were people who knew their body well enough to get it to move in a way that enticed the people around them, made them come back for just the chance to get more. And Kalore was the one that they always came back for. Elves weren't homophobic, or at least very few were. They all knew how to appreciate a body, male or female, even if they would never bed them. Kalore just had the body though that even a homophobe would have to stare at. Slim hips, perfect legs and a**, perfect hair and eyes. He was stunning. Dancing, Kalore did a few moves on the pole as they all split, moving to different areas of the stage. Girls licked their lips at Kalore's perfect moves, guys trying to look at the women but they just couldn't do it. Eri was watching, smirking as he noticed that the numbers of his club soared up while Kalore was here. It was no surprise. He was great as a singer, as a host, and phenomenal as a dancer, as anyone could see now. But, what Eri really wanted now though was to have that Monty guy walk in. At first, Kalore wouldn't be recognized. His outfit was tight, but not raunchy. His hair was perfect, down for the most part, but still in a loose ponytail. Knowing that stage lights messed with the skin, Kalore had on some eyeliner and a bit of lip gloss, used to tease and just make people follow what he wanted them to follow. Eri had no doubt that if Monty were to see him now, there would be questions. And that's why Kalore wasn't allowed to leave the stage until the end up this act. And that wouldn't be for another twenty five minutes.

Joker was nursing a headache because his day at work wasn't as good as it usually was. He lost a few patients that he knew for certain weren't supposed to die but fate or whatever it was seemed to have other plans. The man lost two seniors at the age of sixty and eight seven, both to cancer though in different area's and different times, another was a young man who came in the emergency room from a serious car accident and a newborn baby who didn't make it throw the day.
So this day was pretty hard on him, since he worked to the bone to make everyone live as long as possible. Monty came in to console the man but he just was feeling the blues. So, Jo-Jo attempted to distract himself as he looked at Monty. "Have a nice time out and don't stay out too late." He said in his best mother hen tone but he just wasn't feeling it today. Not even his meds helped him out of his funk. Monty sighed and looked at his expensive watch that he had gotten as a gift along time ago. Ten thirty. He had time before he left. He was in no rush.
Joker waved him off. "Just go already." "Not until your back to normal." He looked at Joker with a sour expression but that translated as worry to anyone who knew this demon. He just had a bad feeling that Joker took today's loss harder than usual.

The minutes ticked by and Kalore played the stage perfectly. It was no surprise that when it came time for him to leave the stage, though, the act didn’t end like it was supposed to. The music continued, and the elf’s green eyes turned dark as another perfect spin was enacted on the dance pole. The song should’ve ended by now…
He knew what Eri was trying to do, and as much grief as it was going to cause him, there wasn’t anything that Kalore could do about it. Giving an award winning smile to the men and women below the stage, he winked at a certain dark haired girl as another perfect move was shown. At least he was doing something he enjoyed. Though Kalore knew that he shouldn’t, there wasn’t much else other than dancing that he liked as much. The thrill, the beat, the enchantment that he knew was put on the crowd.
But Kalore had to wonder briefly on what Monty would think. More than likely the others thought that he was here as a host or as a bartender, but that wasn’t the case. Yes, the elf could bartend, and yes, he acted as a great host, but Eri used him for his form on the stage more than anything.
It was late, really late, but Dusk was sitting on the coffee shop, sipping at her drink as she continued to wait. She and Kyoshi hadn’t had time to speak about last night due to a job that Dusk just couldn’t pass up. Giving the man a kiss, she was gone quickly. The heist wasn’t supposed to take as long as it had, but Ziggy still wasn’t in his best shape. Sighing, the woman glanced around for the fairy. In her normal black loose-leather pants, black trench, gloves, combat boots and sunglasses, the woman looked like a woman that could take on Hell itself. Hopefully it didn’t scare off the little sparkle girl.

Monty looked at his watch and scowled. He had to pick up Kalore now before it got later than usual and if he had to drag Joker along then so be it. Standing up, Monty grabbed Joker by his arms and threw the man into the shower. He washed the depressed man and then dried him off, the changed him into something presentable.
"You will get out of this now before I beat it out of you." He growled and Joker just...shrugged. He didn't care and that worried the male. Sighing he growled unintelligent things about having a lame brained brother who did nothing but mope. Monty grabbed the male by the arm and dragged him out of the house and went on his damn way to go to Eri's club to pick up Kalore with the company of Joker only because he feared for the man.

Business hadn't been this good for years. Kit grinned as she looked up to see Kalore doing a perfect routine, showing up everyone woman and man up there, no matter how stunningly beautiful they were. "Here you are sir, enjoy the show!" The man nodded and then went to staring at the teasing dancers. Looking up, Kit saw as Kalore did another perfectly done move, making even her watch him with a dropped jaw.
The only problem was that time was running short. She knew about the date that he and Monty had, and Kit also knew that the demon was due in less than five minutes. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but Eri had lengthened the routine, and Kalore was having to go into moves that were more provocative to suit the music and crowd. Even Kit could tell that he was getting annoyed with it. But, he had to. Even as the clock struck ten fifty.

Joker for the most part walked with straight shoulders, had his head up and well, his face was very sober. Both men made it to the club but didn't enter immediately. Monty was just looking at Joker, trying to figure out what the mental state his comrade was in because if it was bad then he couldn't take Kalore out. Instead he would make something at the house to keep a close eye on Jo.
Hopefully, Kalore understood and wasn't at all upset about that change of plans. They both finally entered and the first thing Monty did was take Joker to the nearest seat and just watched over him like a hawk until Kalore was ready to go. His back of course was facing the show.

Kit looked at the two men that came in and felt her heart split as it didn't know what to do. She was happy that they were here, glad that Monty kept up with the idea of a date, but worried because Joker was there, but mainly because Kalore was doing an erotic but amazing dance just behind Monty's back. Oh don't look behind you... Please, don't look behind you... Just five more minutes... That's all we need...

Monty had the normal stony mask of arrogance. He signaled for the bartender to come. Joker was going to need a seriously strong drink to get him out of it. Joker was shaking his head. "I don't think it's a good idea for me to be here Monty. My mind is going really sour and all those voices are seriously getting agitated." He said with a frown. Monty also frowned. "Then drink once and I'll take you home." He said to the man with his back still facing the stage.

Nodding to a few coworkers, Kit made her way to the men with two drinks in her hands. One was the hard liquor drink that Monty seemed to enjoy and the other was the one that Joker got last time. "Welcome, boys. Want a drink?" She raised a brow, trying to keep their focus on her so that Kalore could get off the stage without Monty seeing what he was having to do.
Only problem was Eri saw what she was trying to do. Glaring, he snapped and the DJ stuck in another track. Kalore twitched but continued while Kit couldn't help but mutter, "Oh you've got to be kidding me!"

Aria frowned as she waited for Dusk to enter in the small coffee shop that she waited outside of. She hoped that she would be a little more forthcoming with information, or at least give her some kind of information that would really help her with her mission. Aria could be a real pain in the a** if she wasn't pleased.

Monty nodded and Joker just sipped at his drink, not glancing at Kit. The demon sighed softly and looked at Kit. "Could you get me another of this drink? And if possible let Kalore know that I'm here to pick him up...." He looked at Joker who stopped drinking. "There has been a change of plans." He said in a after thought. The demon gave his drink to Joker and gave him the look to drink it. Joker nodded slightl and swallowed it. "I think we are going to need a few more of those please."

(Dusk is already there...heh heh)
It was late, really late, but Dusk was sitting on the coffee shop, sipping at her drink as she continued to wait. Kit scratched the back of her head in a nervous gesture, "Um... He'll be a bit... Um, after this song, well, a little after it, and he'll be down. But, I'll get you the drinks." She nodded to them but glanced at Joker. "Joker?" Something was wrong with him, and Kit wasn't liking it.

Joker looked up at Kit and then looked away. "Hi Kit." He said, at least trying to sound cheerful but it failed horribly. Monty sat down next to him and nodded at what she said. "Kalore could take his time." He said, drinking his favorite drink and watching the moods change in Jo.

Frowning slightly, Kit forgot to make sure that he kept their gaze away from the stage and made the drinks that Monty asked for. Walking to them, the woman knelt in front of them, handing Monty the drinks as she muttered, "What's wrong, Joker?" Kit realized that it was now her back that was to the stage, but hopefully Monty didn't notice the hot blonde on stage, making the crowd easily fall in love with his artistic and perfectly crafted motions.
