((Are you able to rp Enoth? Or should I just make it more of a one-sided lecturing... idea-thing, Mie?))

Treza tilted her head in confusion. "... So you're not his boyfriend? I could've sworn you were!" The youngest royal looked at him thoughtfully for a moment. Almost as if she were trying to weigh options. "Do you like Faryn like that, Jillian?"

((I can RP him. Gimme a sec....))
The man looked up, his hair parting to reveal his deep black eyes - not the strange dark green on his son's, but a pure black. He smirked, lip curling up in a sneer. "Has my son sent you to punish me? Such a coward not to deal with me on his own..." His skin was pale - even paler than Jillian's - as if he hadn't seen the sun for many years. His nails were long, almost like knives themselves.

He shook his head. "Where did you get that idea? I'm at least glad you waited to ask that until Faryn was out the room. But... I won't deny I have feelings for him," he said with a smile. He had told Faryn so he didn't have to hide it any more... he hoped. If Faryn became angry at him for that as well, well... he'd survived this long.

Faryn drew up a stool from the guard's corner and sat upon it. He ignored whatever insolent words tumbled from the inferior man's mouth. "Sit, or don't sit. You're answering questions or I'll destroy everything you hold dear-- not including Jillian," the prince informed him directly. "First question, What happened to Jillian's mother?" His black eyes met the man's similar ones, arms folded across his chest.

Treza's hands were free of bandages as the healer worked on wrapping and dressing Jillian's neck with the final layer of cloth. She moved to Jillian's side. Leaning slightly on the chair's armrest, she leaned in and questioned, "Have you ever seen him smile, Jillian? Or kiss someone? Or lean on anyone's shoulder? Hold someone's hand other than me or Pluto?"

With the now-familiar 'pop' sound, Dax peeked his head back into the room. "More things?" he asked, coming back into the room. He felt so much better in a change of clothing. His long, blonde hair was now pulled out of his face with a black ribbon. "I guess you're passed the 'sludge' transportation stage now. Congratulations."

[[Aw, thank you so much for the pictures, Mie. They are so cute! >w< Peyton looks really adorable (and not pissy or angsty for once XD) and Haro just looks like a big ol' pile of shota bait (Just the way I like 'im!). :'D <3 I haven't been home the past two days but I'll get your picture done asap. >w>;]]

The young man looked impressed, a little confused, but satisfied for the moment nonethless. "Hm, I never thought of it that way, interesting," he murmured before snapping up a small flicker of fire once more to light the dark hallway. Upon opening a door at the end of the hall a loud crash sounded, startling Haar slightly. Whipping out his sword, the young commander kicked the door the rest of the away open and walked into the room with a frown.

The room looked to be in complete disarray, bedding strewn across the floor along with a few boots littering the area. The whole scene contrasted horribly to what Haar usually saw every morning. His knight-to-be usually hept his room unnaturally spotless... Stepping over a crumpled sheet, Haar frowned slightly as he heard a thud... Where was Peyton?

He wasn't too worried for the boy. He was an excellent fighter if he had the appropriate weapons. "Peyton? Where the hell are-" Cut off as the door to the balcony swung open, the young man braced himself slightly, holding up his sword in a defensive stance. Looking back to make sure Alti was behind him, the dark haired officer took a few steps forward, dropping his stance as the fair haired boy stumbled forward. Catching Peyton with one hand, Haar cast a worried glance outside.

"I...I-" Looking up with a high amount of strain, the blue eyed teen wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, quickly showing Haar his bloodied daggers before wiping them off as well on his pants. "...got...got him. But I missed...one- I- they jumped off- off-"

Hushing the boy, Haar propped him up with a frown as he turned back to Alti with a heavy sigh. "Well...it seems we're going to have to look over the grounds," he murmured, before looking the shaken squire over. Red eyes ever examining, Haar scowled slightly to himself. Peyton didn't look to be in a bad state...he was just bleeding... "What were they using?" He asked carefully, shuffling the others out of the room before closing the door to Peyton's room after he had sheathed his sword.

"Uhn-...m-magic and the one that left was using a lance and the other was just using a sword," the boy murmured, gingerly walking on his own, head bent forward. he felt like an idiot...it should've been easy to hurt the man with such a long object...but-

"Well, I'll get you to Ceris..."

[[I was just drawing that pink haired guy...the one that looks like a girl...and then I realized that wasn't one of the people in that list I could draw. -erase- XD]]

He smirked. "I don't have anything left to lose. Just my own skin, which isn't much." His hand uncurled and he scraped his nails lightly along the cold stones of the floor. "She's dead," he said with a shrug, as if it meant nothing, but his eyes said otherwise and his lip twitched slightly.

Jillian shook his head. "No, I haven't. I'm guessing you're going to tell me it's hopeless and that I should stop before something bad happens?" A small smile graced his lips. "It's too late for that, anyway..."

**

He grinned. "Grooming supplies. We may have to pack for ourselves, but it's not fun if we forget the horses. Of course, I at least don't have to clean bits or saddles. I ride bareback - it's quieter and more comfortable for the horse."
((As far as horses goes, I'm using "The Blue Sword" by Robin McKinnely as a bit of a refference for his style of riding.))

**

((xD Danke.
Ah, and you can draw Rosaline. =o You can draw any of my charas that you want to. =o I really don't care who. I just forgot about him because by RP partner with him seems to be dead... >.>;; ))
He looked on at the scene, his expression one of apprehension. "Do you have a window...?" he asked quietly. "I can find them, most likely. Do you know what kind of magic they used?" His energy and magic had been drained quite a bit, but finding magic was easy. And he seemed to be recovering. Cold energy was flooding into him now that there was something that needed to be dealt with. He felt extremely calm despite the comotion - a quality that had often been useful.

[[fomg. MIE<333 Those drawings are socute. -snugglesthem- You're so good at drawing the sweet charries. I can't believe I forgot to comment on that earlier x.x;;]]

Faryn retained his businesslike manner. "How did she die, Enoth? Because I want to know exactly what it is between you and Jillian that would make you dare evade my castle guards and attempt a murder under my roof. Drunk or not, you're going to tell me."

Xalidred finished wrapping the bandage about Jillian's neck. "Don't itch or pull on it. Try not to get it wet, either. You'll need to come to the healing wing tomorrow morning so I can redress the wound or it won't heal properly. Sleep with two pillows under your head and don't strain your neck backwards or anything. Good day to you, sir," the head mage bowed to both of them before leaving Treza and Jillian alone.

Treza smiled after he left. "Can I sit on your lap, Jillian? Pleeease?" Her juvenial behavior was typical of a five-year-old. With Faryn, she constantly strived to be more like him-- more adultlike and mature. But even so, she was still just a normal little kid... who could communicate with the dead and teleport. That was normal, right?

[[http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/dawndusk4/rosaline.png Ah, okay, there you go then. X3]]

Haar opened up yet another door, pointing towards another balcony, "Is that okay?" He asked, keeping a hand behind Peyton. The boy looked like he was going to fall over at any moment.

Blue eyes narrowed slightly at Alti before the blonde pushed his commander's hand back with a frown. "I'm pretty sure they were just using storms, lightning specifically," he murmured, rubbing at a singe marring his upper cheek, right under his left eye. "I'm not sure if that's where they're from though...you know? It looked really forced to me," Peyton mused aloud, averting his gaze as he walked into the room adjacent to his own.

((Thanks. =D Yuss, only problem is that's all I can draw. Annnnd... even worse, I have artist's block right now as far as inking, coloring and female anatomy goes! Dx And female anatomy is usually my strong point because I'm... you know... a girl. xD))
His lip curled into a sneer. "Jillian won't be happy once you find out, you know. He's worked so hard to bury his family from public sight. He killed her." His expression was cold. "He was only seven, but he killed her." He paused and then looked back up at the prince. "Are you happy now?"

Jillian had to stop himself from nodding and instead replied, "Yes.... thank you..." He smile and followed the other out with his eyes. His attention returned to the girl and he smile. "Sure. Here, would you like me to sit on the bed so I have a better lap? This chair doesn't look too good for that sort of thing," he said, gesturing at the hard-backed wooden chair he was sitting on.

[[Understandable ^^
@Tato: Aw. Nice and pretty<3 ]]

Faryn smirked. "Not quite. For a man who dislikes his own son so much, you don't seem to divulge very many details. Wouldn't you want to incriminate him to me? I have a brother who's seven and he's practically harmless. Why don't you elaborate a tad more? I'm not so sure you didn't have a hand in your own wife's death. After all, you're the one with the poison experience." He dismissed the guard to go to the top of the stairwell and away from their little chat.

Treza laughed lightheartedly. She took Jillian's hand and practically ran with it through her small quarters to her bedroom. Upon entry, one could see it was completely decked out in her favorite color. Pastel pink. It matched her eyes and was the perfect little girls room. A sole doll sat on her bed, frilled with a pink comforter and the bed had a little guard that went up on the side of it to make sure she didn't fall out while sleeping. The letter sat upon her dresser, but she pretended it wasn't there. In fact, she'd forgotten completely about the letter. Dragging Jillian to her bed, she was still laughing childishly. "Okay! You first and then I'll get on."

((Uwa, thanks, Tato! I didn't see your reply before I left...
He looks so pretty. e.e))
He nodded and leaned out the window, his eyes scanning the area outside ((what time is it?)). "Storms..." he mused. He could almost smell the disturbances they had made in the air. He leaned even more forward, his fingers clutching at the sill for support, and closed his eyes for a moment. Slowly, he pointed to some trees in the distance ((guessing that the courtyard opens to the outwards, not to some inner courtyard or something)). "There... They've messed with the air too much for me to pinpoint it, though," he said with a frown.

**

"Family matters are family matters," he said cooly. "I prefure to deal with them on my own." He watched the guard leave and scowled slightly. THe man had taken his remaining knives from him - or, at least, the ones he had found. "I may be the one with the poison - Jillian's the one with magic. Our family has had hardly any magic for generations - until Ila came. My wife. She died because of her own blood. I used to test my poisons on my son, at the same time readying him to take over the family business and giving him a resistence to poisons not many of the royal lines could boast. The poison in the knife that I used would have killed anyone but him in about five minutes," he said with a bit of a sneer. "But he killed her. It was just after I'd been testing an antidote so, of course, I had to try the poison on him first. The antidote was faulty - the boy who brought me my ingridiants had tainted one of them. Before that point, Jillian had showed no sign of magic. But he showed in then. One minute he was sickly and we were doing all we could to help, then he was healthy and my wife was dead."
((He basically sucked the life from her. >.>;; ))

He smiled and followed her. He usually tried to hide it, but he loved children. "Alright, then..." He sat down on the bed, his smile widening at her apparent pleasure. He'd never really been inside the rooms of the royal children or gotten to know them too well, a fault he was making a mental note to correct.

[[Hah. I personally hatehatehate[!!] everything but the hair, but that's just me... D:

Time...uhm, like early morning but still dark? 3-5 AM? X'D I don't know.]]

Peyton stared out over the balcony, blue eyes swiveling from the inky colored area Alti pointed out back towards the teen himself. It would take forever to get to the grounds if they left the castle from the main entrance... Glancing at the two with a scowl before placing a good grip on the balcony's railing, Peyton swung himself over the edge. They were only one story up, and it wasn't that far of a drop. He'd fallen from higher heights anyhow.

Haar stared wide eyed at the spot where Peyton used to be standing. Rushing towards the railing, thin pajama-like wear slipping from his grasp, Haar yelled curses down at the blonde from the ledge.

He landed on his feet, thankfully only wobbling slightly, earning a hard smack to the back of his head after he heard a softer impact behind him. Haar was better at landing than he was...esespcially landing without making too much of a noise. "Idiot!" He hissed, yanking the boy up by his shirt. "You're hurt, do you ever try something like that again when you're like this," he muttered, his anger ever so nicely concealing his concern for the teen.

After making sure Peyton wasn't hurt from his risky jump, Haar took a few steps back and looked up at Alti from the ground. "Are you coming?" He asked with a sort of amused grin.

((Stop being so self-critical. That's my job. xP
Errg... I hate this new uber huge text and formatting. *kills Gaia* I fight the system! >D))
Alti had already jumped before Haar spoke, landing almost catlike and low to the ground, although he did not use his hands. He straightened up, only pulling a slight face at the twinge of pain in his ankle. Luckily, jumping was easy for him - not least because he had control over the air around himself when he jumped. "Hmm?" He looked over at Haar, his expression curious. "Did you say something?"

[[-shakes fist at Gaia- >_>;;;;;;;;; Makin' me try to figure out the right font size and color, bitches.]]

Haar's expression flattened slightly as he turned a less than amused look upon Alti. "Nothing," he muttered before questioning, "Do you have a better idea where they are now that we're down here or are we going to have to look the hard way?" He asked, glancing out towards the area the teen had pointed out before.

He closed for a moment and then he shook his head. "Closer. We need to be closer. Not in the forest per se ((did I spell that right? >.>; wink ), but... near it. Nearer than this... Like I said, there's too much disturbance in the air..." He frowned, his nose wrinkling in disgust. Someone who would misuse the air so and leave such traces... they were obviously not of his kingdom - which was a bit of a releif. He had, for the time, forgotten that he had told the others he had come from the Kingdom of Darkness.
