That's good, Lily. Everybody deserves to have at least one person that can pull them from the abyss. That kind of a confidante can make a real difference in somebody's life . . . as a shrink, I know that all too well.
In other news, I finally found out what is going on with my coworkers not telling me what their problems are with me. It isn't that I'm doing wrong at work- I'm an a*****e. They don't like me as a person, and that is what is going on behind my back. Oddly enough, I am reassured by that. It means I am doing my job right, and they have to deal with me even if they hate it.
Kinda like Kouhei.

Yea.
I'm actually living again. I developed my own hobbies, some we can do together, others it's for me, and he has his own too. I'm more motivated to take care of myself and I'm just... wow. I didn't think it would work like this.
And sorry to hear about Kouhei like issues at work. I know you don't care about what they think of you but it still doesn't sound pleasant.

I can only say that I am very happy for you, finding a life and a love all at once.
As for work, it's tense and a lot of issues- but I've also given sort of an ultimatum. If I am fired over meaningless bullshit . . . I won't be able to hold my wife back. She is aware of a fair portion of the illegal bullshit that goes on in that store. I don't let her rock the boat because I need the job- but if they want to treat me like shite and fire me? Yeah, that bulldog is going off her leash.

Things were bound to come to a head w/ your workplace spiraling downward, so I don't blame her for wanting to give them a piece of her mind.

Well. I am still 'gainfully employed' despite rumors. Also, the manager tried to get me to divulge some of the rumors floating around but I held fast. I told her I wouldn't ruin what camaraderie we have or our rapport as a team by backstabbing. She didn't give a reaction, but I know I made the right choice.

Trust is a delicate thing, and managers asking an employee to break employee-employee trust itself breaks the manager-employee trust.

Almost jarring is the way we act when store manager/district manager/owner is around. When they are, we are careful and measured. The times we workers are without direct supervision the work is still getting done . . . but we have so much more fun.
On the other subject- we have hearts by our names. What is that? Do you know?

Now if only anybody could make a guide to actually view/manage the damn things.

He really should call it a beta since it's functional but lacks integration (tutorial, promotion, etc...)

From what I saw, many are not enthusiastic about it. I am in ambivalent. I really am not certain why it would be a big deal.

Mostly for avatar artists & competitors. It's also a feature from 3+ years ago that never saw the light of day, so might have been cooler closer to Gaia's heyday.

Or, more appropriately, closer to when Lancer had input.

Major revitalization will take time, and I trust Lanzer and his crew are wiser from their mistakes earlier in Gaia's life.
